| OOC: I got the idea for this next attack from the one scene of Wild West that I actually watched. It was the one with the wasp and spider in the desert. The Firebird knew what would happen but had a plan. As the creature was about to bite into it's neck it made one final move. Maneuvering its claw to the sword wound where it could easily thrust something inside. It was some form of egg. The Attack was a Light Attack rather than fire. The only fire damage would be from the fact that the egg was made of fire. But surrounding the fire was a protective layer of pure light. The light would instantly begin feeding upon contact. If the egg got withing inches of the Nightmare Demon the attack would be successful. This was an instant kill, suicide attack. Putting its egg inside of it's foe would insure the Firebird it's child would feed on its corpse and be twice as powerful as the original. Whether or not the egg makes contact the Firebird will ignite itself just before the Nightmare Demon bites it. To make sure neither survive. OOC: Since this isn't your actual character I didn't think you'd mind this nearly un-dodgeable attack. I just thought it sounded cool, don't you? |

| OOC: Well actually everything being destroyed was part of the plan. The new FireBird was going to feed on the Nightmare Demon's soul resonance. But I did forget about the Negative Energy. So if it's okay with you I'll have the egg survive but it'll be infected with negative energy. Thus the BlackFireBird was born...yeah I just made the name up. If you can think of something better, let me know. Anyway back to the story ________________________ Moving at a quick walk Vincent finally caught up with Blue and Kyle Vincent: Hey, wait. I know you two had somehting to do with that. Now tell me what's happening. Suddenly he felt the impact of the of his FireBird's death. Blacking out the last thing he could think about was what would happen next and whether the FireBird had died in vain. |

| It sounds like paranoia to me. Not that i can spell it. But I listen to it myself. It keeps you safe. Not safe as in 'wear a helmet' but safe as in 'use a condum' safe. You know. | One thing that happened to me in particular was when me and a friend went to a really gay movie so we could meet our girlfriends and make out rather than watch the movie. But literally seconds after we bought tickets my girlfriend called and said she couldn't go any more and she was my friends girlfriend's ride. So there we were me and my friend watching Madagascar surrounded by a ton of little kids and their parents. Of course no one sat too close because we were in all black. But in general I really like the movies. Seriously I do. |

| OOC: Thanks for putting a good word in on my character while I was gone __________________ Following standard protocal procedures Rhino had cleared a 100ft perimeter in every direction then slowly widened it by making a large spiral movement outward. Normally he would have left the helpless to their own business but he had acquired a new ally who obviously valued their lives. Turning a corner he noticed a company of 40 or 50 of those wierd shadow things. They were becoming more and more organized by the minute, but they still stood no chance. Taking aim he shot the biggest one in the eye and watched as the rest turned to run like a bunch of startled dear. In the desperation of escape they never saw the mines carefully placed in their path. As the army finally started to retreat he made his way to the center of his circle where his spiral had begun. This is where he had gathered the survivors. There were surprisingly few casualties. Rhino: Do not be afraid. You are no longer in danger. I must speak with those who lead you. Finally turning on his backup core systems he regained the rest of his personality. Then turning to the two trapped in the cubes. Rhino: So, am I gonna get answers or is time for the Rhino to have some fun? Rhino had been built as a large intimidating Battle Bot and something about refering to himself as 'The Rhino' scared people. If they didn't answer he would pry them out of their cubes and then they would talk. I'd say 'there are other fish in the sea' but I don't think fish would help right now. What you need is some one who really truly cares about how you feel. | Listen, I read your post and skipped the rest because once I read that one post I decided on what I was going to say. If you want to do it, do it, if you don't, don't. I sounds like you could probably manage home school and a job. So that's not a problem. But consider the fact that you can't re-live this time of your life. I'm sure your dad won't be too overly disappointed if you hold off on the job till after school. I would personally hold off unless I needed, or wanted, some extra cash. Your choice |

| Selfish to let it pass you by? Do you understand any of your own post. It's okay to take advantage of your father rather than just work for him for a job. It's okay that you slack off and get paid for it. It's okay that you will be in better positions than many people, who have been working their asses off for years, might never even get close to. But wait...you want to pass it by so that you can live out you life as a kid while it lasts??? How selfish!!! I'm usually a pretty easy going guy. Ask any one. Every one that knows me likes me. But when I have to sit here and read as you shove your foot in your mouth and all the while knowing that you are thinking. "I'm so nice. Look at all this great advice I'm giving these poor defensless people." Now please, count to ten and see if you can accept anything I just wrote to you before you post back. | Finally looking up from the puch bowl to see what every one was doing Daiel only half realized he was creating three fire ball which he began to juggle. Manuevering closer to the DJ he suddenly dropped all three. Nearly falling flat on his face he managed to stomp them out before any one really noticed. Other than three burns in the floor there was no proof he had done anything wrong. Daiel: Maybe I should leave before I make any more mistakes. Moving to the door he passed by the cake again. And against his better judgement he grabbed a few slices before heading for the door. |

| ooc: Just so no one is confused Rhino is a Tra-vis 308 and his predecessors, the Tra-vis 307, is now hunting him. There is more than one Tra-vis 307. _________________________________________ Walking up to Shine and Bright Rhino attempted to pry them out of the strange cubes they were hiding inside of. Just as he got a hold of the first cube he heard a voice a little ways down one of the aisles of concession stands. Tra-vis 307: Target lock They had found him again. There were two standing side by side. As he turned to look at them they fired their anti-infantry missiles into the air. Rhino: You missed the party. Pulling out his Beam RIfle Rhino took aim on the missile in the middle of the cluster and fired. The single missiles explosion damaged the locking systems of the rest. Turning to the people that he had gathered during the previous battle... Rhino: Take Cover! ...then turning to the Tra-vis 307's who had fired the missiles he engaged his 'Emergency Berserker' systems. Charging directly at his two opponents he was completely oblivious as the missiles smashed down behind him, throwing trapnel into the group of survivors and throwing Shine and Bright atleast a mile into the air. Lifting their duel chain guns the 307s opened fire on the now charging Rhino, but as they did he moved to the side slightly so that instead of running in the open he was smashing through the concession stands and side shows. This didn't even slow him down but it prevented the 307s from getting a clear shot. As he drew closer he suddenly jumped out of a popcorn stand and smashed into one of the 307s. It was only mildly damaged but before it recovered he changed his right fore-arm into his Beam Cannon and placing it to the side of the of it's head, Fired. Before he even had a chance to turn the second detonated the missiles inside itself as a suicide tactic. The explosion threw Rhino back but wasn't powerful enough to really damage him. |

| Watching the two retreat into the sky Rhino wondered if he had seen the last of them. Not likely. They were obviously part of whatever was going on and would soon be back. He would be ready for them, just as soon as he figured out what was happening and why it was happening. The person from the ring toss would have some answers, and hopefully things weren't as bad as they appeared. Turning to the group of survivors he took a count of the dead and injured. Not counting the ones he had never found. There were 13 who had been injured by the anti-personel missiles and 4 were killed by them. For a second he considered leaving so that no more innocence would be hurt by the 307's attempts on his life. But then he considered what would have happened if he hadn't been there... |
