| As long as you have a little guidance from someone else to start, it becomes fairly easy in a short time. I'm not sure I could have learned from text docs alone, but I was taught, nonetheless, in about 30 minutes, and then I was able to start finding stuff right away on my own. | |||

Having personally played this game, I would have to say the level design is the best part of this hack. It is not ridiculously hard to start with, but if you have not beaten the original SMW then you would probably wanna do that first. But I'm pretty sure that a very decent player could beat the first world without savestates, especially considering the nice little pointers/message box hints that are provided. It also progressively gets harder as opposed to other hacks where it is just plain hard from start to finish. So, no, this is nowhere near the mediocre level design of SMW Returns. At least not yet.  And I'm pretty sure he's taking his time on this hack for a reason... it should never get to a point where the level design is less than sufficient. |
