Oh, and Jarukoth reminded me of something for some reason: Columbine isn't the only bad school shooting you know. They seem to happen regualarly, really. Well, at least kids in school with guns. They've been caught several times. And then, there have been other multiple school shootings. Some people (that 5 year old kid in Flint) could take less blame than others for what they did, but still, there are many guns in schools at different times. And um, gun deaths don't just happen at schools. They seem to happen every day, especially in major towns. It just seems to have become a part of American life. Which is sad, really... a state of life in which you can see someone got shot down, and be like "meh, whatever, what's next on the news?" because it happens so regularly that you're used to it? That's one of the things I hate about America, really. EDIT: Originally posted by Legion Thank you for clarifying that for me. (edited by Kefka on 05-23-04 09:51 PM) |

meh, I guess it was funny in context in the movie. And for all you pro-gunners (I'm neutral, as previously stated), you should think about kicking Charleton off of his perch on top of the NRA! He's a jackass, seriously! Pick a new pro-gun guy to lead that!

Kirby, expect one soon... not TOO soon, but... soon enough... As for Mario Bros 1, there's a TON. Just Google it, or go to Zophar. There are plenty. And yea, sorry about there being no Kirby editors YET... but Kirby's Adventure is in the process of being hacked by SOMEONE and they are attempting to learn a few things about C++ (help appreciated ) and team up with one or two people and make that... |

I liked the helicopter one I guess... where he's a pirate. Though it's hard to beat the fake credits thing in the original!

Um, welcome back. Don't claim you're psychic, can blow up things with your mind, and don't try to recreate NES songs with your voice. And re-read the FAQ, because some rules might have changed since you first came. Anyway, welcome back, again.

Hmm... is it that you spend too much time with friends, or too much time with school? Are your grades bad? If so, that's the problem. If not, then, well, you really should just try to keep your grades up as high as you can all through school... that stuff could ultimately determine what you do in life. Or at least could affect the choices of what you do in life. If it's that you don't spend enough time with friends, then socialize, duh. Whatever you do, don't fuck up your priorities.

My apologies. In the few hours I've been back, a lazy streak seems to have come over me. And I've apparently grown more stupid. Well, anyway, then it is simple. Your parents are worried about you, and want you to socialize with friends more it seems. Whatever you do though, don't go on strike with school. That would be the worst thing you could do.

I would have to go with SMB3, sorry if you think it's overrated. And how is Duck Hunt so related to any Mario game? Other than it shares a cart with SMB? Are there any other Mario games like it? EDIT: the most challenging one though is SMB2J... and I play that a lot. And SMB3's NOT too hard to beat all the levels on the NES with no saves... it is just time consuming. Occasionally you'll find an easter egg to be true. Like the Kirby's Adventure easter egg... I didn't believe it at first, but it turned out to be true. And I actually fell for the Luigi in SM64 one, as hard as it was to believe... I spent SO long trying to do that... I don't like people spreading rumors for no reason though. It's mean. I would rather you tell a true secret, then if someone doesn't believe it, they lose out. |

...wtf? A chase scene??? Mack the Knife, not Exor... and I don't even remember a chase scene with Exor... closest thing to a chase scene I know of would be right before you fight Bundt. It's only worth one point, and Felix has won anyway, so I'll just give a big obvious hint: anyone remember what item you get for beating Mack? What item similar to it can you get in M&L... think on that. EDIT: don't worry... I'll make awards soon... so this topic'll end sometime... but... part of me doesn't want this topic to end... then I can come up with more creative ones instead of the shit I'm doing. Well, NightHawk, may I ask the validity of what that site says? After all, it is just a small website. And what most of it says is that the movie implies things rather than give facts... well, I don't see how implying is lying... I think Mr. Moore wrote a defense for those saying that the thing was fraud. I'll post it sometime if I find it. And I don't see how it implies that the NRA likes killings... but Charleton Heston is an ass, and he did schedule his events right after those shootings, despite people of the community fighting against it. And he claimed in his interview with Mr. Moore that he didn't know that the events had happened in Michigan, and that he couldn't cancel in Colorado. Well... seriously though, do you feel it to be appropriate when someone has a gun ralley in a community right after a gun death in that community? He didn't lie about that at all. But he did not imply that the NRA likes deaths. And the largest nuclear manufacturer was right where he said it was. He did not add the missles behind that guy he interviewed. Michael Moore may be a self proclaimed hic of sorts, but he is not stupid and wouldn't add all that shit. If you can find SUFFICIENT evidence saying that he lied throughout the movie, I will then have to agree with you. He didn't change the words of the people he interviewed, nor did he change the actions of everyone around him. And that was the whole movie right there, other than his occasional questions. |
