He's trying to tell a story, I think...

Anyway, Reid doesn't have any girls he can realy depend on as friends- do you?

If you can ACTUALLY mess up a relationship with a person by liking them, caring about them, and being nice, then you never had a rea relationship to begin with.

Don't go too fast and make them uncomfortable, sure, but don't act like it's some bomb ready to explode on you and you have to disarm it slowly and carefully. For you know it's a bomb of confetti.

YEA! Lost Levels, damn straight!

The original SMB2 wasn't a REAL Mario game, come on...It was fine. but...

Lost Levels was WAY cooler.

YES! This poll is doing exactly what I hoped it would do- tie three ways!

Thus showing that all three of the Mario RPG's are great games for different qualities.

I'm admit that Superstar Saga has a few fun minigames, though. I got addicted to a couple last night, stocking up on Hee Beans.

Hehe...I've got that game about down. I'm totally massacring it right now...

...?

Ahhhh...So, in other words, people think you're really gay...?

Um...But about them 'reading' you...Were you dressed like a 'girl,' but physically looked like a guy? That creeps people out, but it doesn't really creep me out. It would if you had a raggedy beard with make-up on, but still...I wouldn't degrade you like that...Everyone deserves a chance...

Oh, for Din's sake, people are assholes...>

Well, I'll tell ya this much- I don't care WHO you are, WHAT your 'sexual-ness' is, what your 'race' is, or any of that shit.

I care about you because you're a PERSON, JUST LIKE ME. *sigh* Maybe my words don't mean much to you, everyone else just rejects me because I'm too emotionally open, I guess...

If there's anyone you can lean on for emotional support, it's me, OK? No crap.

I really hope you have SOMEONE in your region that can help you...I wish I could, but...I'm 17, living in the middle of nowhere in New York state...

I really hope you're not like everyone else and see my words for what they ARE, not what ulterior motif might hide under them...Grr...Friggin' asswipe idiots...

OH!! And hey...

Promise yourself you won't EVER do anything stupid like that again...(suicidal-ish things...)

*sweatdrop*

Oh...A bit...anticlimatic...

Hehe...Sorry, I'm not trying to be mean, I'm just used to people who are unemployed and alone in the world, people being discriminated because of their sexuality, and that sort of thing.

If I had to guess, I'd say you were in middle school. Maybe I'm wrong, that's just the feeling I get.

But here's the deal.

As stated, yes, these people sure as hell aren't your friends. Tell them to 'piss off' (That's how I'd say it, anyway. ') and leave you alone. *sigh* Now if it was me, I'd give them another chance off the bat, but...

I've just been through so much crap with people that I just don't care as much as I used to. People seem to much rather have enemies than friends. Why this is boggles my mind...

Just ignore them and see what happens. If they really value you as a friend (sure as hell doesn't SOUND like it) they'll change themselves when they realize how stupid they're acting. If not, then I guess you're outt a luck with them.

Geez, at least you're not dealing with teenage GIRLS yet...Oy...

I'll tell ya this, though. Try looking for new friends, and let new friends look for you. Do it NOW, while you're younger, BEFORE they all get corrupted by society...

*chuckles*

See? It's not so easy, is it? All three of them are great games!

Heck, who knows? Maybe my opinion will change...

I mean, I don't like Paper Mario more than the other two- I like all three for diferent aspects.

But I think it's the best one as a GAME- right now, anyway.

Interesting race we have going here...

BAHA!!

That's an awesome question!

How about I keep you posted- the answer changes every day or two!

I've played a LOT of the Mario games, but sadly not all of them. I've 'mastered' at LEAST 25-30 of them...

Well, today is would be Superstar Saga. A few days ago? Mario Bros. 3 on GBA. Back in December I was a Double Dash!! freak, but I kinda over-played it and haven't felt like it since...Superstar Saga I got in November, and I'm on my 5th way through it...

The Mario RPG's are my favs overall, simply because they have STORYLINE- though only so much. Being a Fanfictuion writer, I value storyline.

But Mario Bros. 3 + Mario World are two of the best games EVER to me, and definitely the two that DEFINE what Mario was meant to be.

Allright, here we go!

I put up this thread so I can give some of you guys some good ol' challenges to take on. I'm only going to post up ones I know are possible/have done myself, OK?

Here's the deal- post up a challenge you can think of from a Mario game. I'll start so you get the idea, all right? (No SSB ones, OK? They're great games, but not MARIO games.)

Super Mario 64
----------
In Bob-Omb Battlefield, ride the Koopa Troopa shell all the way to the top of the mountain without hitting anything. Yea, kinda pathetic, but ya gotta take baby steps before you can walk...

Super Mario Brothers 3
----------

Beat the game from start to finish- I mean FROM SCRATCH - in under 15 minutes. Possible, of course. Generous, even. Afterall, the record is just under 11 minutes. Don't believe me? It's true, I've seen it. They beat it about as fast as possible- no lie! Look it up, you'll find it. Or wait until I find the link again and put it up here, it deserves to be seen, it's AMAZING...

Mario + Luigi: Superstar Saga
----------

Beat the game under these conditions:

The only pants you ever wear are the Work Pants- your first ones.
The badges you ever wear are Pea Badges- which suck pretty bad.
Use Gadd's stuff if ya wanna save some time, but don't if you want an even BIGGEr challenge.

Paper Mario
----------

In the room in Bowser's castle where you play a mini-game with the guard door...

Get three wrong answers! You'll fight the funnest battle in the game! The Anti Unit!

YEP! Three- count 'em, THREE ANTI GUYS all at once! Are you ready? Good! Now beat them in five turns or less!

BAHA!!

I myself can honestly say I've done all of these, which is why I'm challenging anyone here to them. Of course, NOT the Mario Bros. 3 challenge, that's juist SICK- oh, wait, I DID say 15 minutes...Hm. I think I could do that...I'kll just whip oyut my GBA sometime soon and give it a go...

Well? Any other ideas?

Yep, that's right, baby!!

Robin, Starfire, Beastboy, Cyborg, and Raven...and, well, Terra, but...

The Teen Titans! Since their debut early in the summer of '03, I can't say they've revoltionized TV of course. But nonetheless, I am SO totally addicted to this show, and I eagerly await the end of Season 2! With a great blend of fuilid American Animation with anime styles- along with its great sense of animation humor, TT is a great show for someone who likes their shows 'just plain freaky.' But underneath its action/comedy exterior (though I love those elements) Teen Titans is also well written, for the most part. It has decent amounts of character development and plot. But where the show really shines is the personalities the characters radiate. It's one of the few cartoons out there where I love every character for who they are! Hell, I even like Slade.

Robin- Because he's just so much damn cooler without Batman.
Beastboy- He's goofy, optimistic, and sensitive. Always striving to be noticed, and always failing- I doubt a moped's gonna do him any good.
Cyborg- He's laid back, throws some humor into the mix, and come on- he's just all BOOYAH!
Raven- A very mysterious character. I love Raven not because of how she acts. I like her because she's really a bit psychotic and very emotional- hence the whole point to her meditation- she has to keep her powers under control.

Starfire- the character I feel I relate with the most. She's so much like me, despite the obvious outside differences we have. Well, duh, I'm a guy. I also refrain from conversing with such proper pronunciation and grammar. I'm also not from Tamaran. But...Deep down inside...I feel like her. Lost, out of place...

Starfire is so honest and open with her emotions, and she often gets odd looks because of that- as do I. Our honesty and sincerity almost SCARES people in a freaky kind of way. But we both really care about people and want to make them happy and help them.

Hm...Now that I think about it, Starfire would make the ideal girlfriend for me...*sweatdrop/blush* Ya know, if she was real, etc. Ahehe...ummm...

But, well, she kinda likes Robin. DUR.

And another thing- where do people get off saying that Beastboy and Raven were 'meant for eachother'?! I mean, sure, it's a cute thought- it just doesn't WORK.

By the way, if any of you guys like Teen Titans, I'm writing a Teen Titans fanfic, I think you'll like it if you're a freak like me.

If you're interested, just ask, I can hook you up to it.

Sooo...

I'm kinda half-asleep, now, so I'll let someone else start a conversation now...

I'll be honest with ya, I'm a HUGE fan of all three. I don't know who I'd be without 'em. I've played all the Zeldas, almost every Sonic, and a lot of Marios (there's so many random stupid ones like Mario Hotel and Mario's Missing! and most of thsoe dumb ones aren't too great.)

But who's your favorite character? This one's tough for me, I like 'em all. (Hehe, that's why I write fanfiction and have the three team up into an AWESOME trio...)

But, as you can probably guess, I just have to go with Mario. Been a Hardcore Mario fan for 10 years, and I'll continue to do so. If it weren't for him and the genius of Shigeru Miyamoto, I can't even IMAGINE where gaming would be...

Kudos to the Big M! Rock on, baby!

So...You're a game freak like me, huh? What's the first game you EVER played? Do you remember? I do. Didn't really infulence me too much, actually...

First game I ever played was Megaman 3 when I was a wee lad. Fun game, but...

Once I played Super Mario Bros. 3, it was no contest who would become my fav gaming character of all time. I'll admit, Sonic threw me for a loop- lots, actually, and he rocks hardcore, but Mario's the man.

So what about you? Older? Pong, Space Invaders...?

Maybe the first game you ever played was Jak and Daxter- who am I to know?

No, no...Well, yes, with some games, but...

I've had a time where getting my file erased was GOOD.

Sonic Adventure 2 Battle.

Ater 120 hours of gameplay, I had ONE emblem left- no lie, ONE!!!

And I accidently erased it all...I was so pissed.

So ya know what I did? Went through the WHOLE GAME, got ALL 120 Emblems in just over 20 hours. Now THAT was cool.

Um...No, sex mixes with games...Diva Stars? Blech...Kinda agree...

But...Hm. Yea, stupid little brothers taking your GBA SP to school, or taking Superstar Saga and puting it in your CALCULUS BOOK WITHOUT TELLING YOU!

Yep. My Calc book. That DOESN'T mix with games at all. I'm thankful I didn;t lose it, I could've, I didn't know it was there...GEEZ, who the hell puts GBA games in TEXTBOOKS for safe-keeping...? Oh, yea, my brother.

Wow, you guys are no better than his 'friends'! Let's BACKHAND people because they talk about message boards? Bullshit, that's immature. You sound like a great friend yourself, Saber, backhanding people for no good reason.

Stealing other peoples' things- whether they're religious or not, is REALLY being a baby. Some people put their entire life into those books because it's what they believe in. Now I honestly don't believe in everything they do, but stealing is wrong, anyway, and a MAJOR sign of immaturity.

Ummm...?

Yea, so...what's your point...?

I mean, that's fine and good, but...

Your friend is not perfect. NO ONE is perfect. When you and your friends get into fights, totally forgetting about them is kind of foolish. What if it matters later on? Forgive, but don't forget. Forgetting when bad things happen- or ignoring them- is a sign of weakness or immaturity, if you ask me. I remember everything I can, be it good or bad. If it weren't for our memories, where would we be?

There is no such thing as a perfect friend. There are friends, good friends, and best friends, and girlfriends+boyfriends, but...No one is perfect for anyone. Having the same tastes is nothing. I'm good friends with people who hate what I like. Of course, my best friends are friends that have similar interests, because our brains work similarly, I guess. I love Teen Titans- do they? No. I like Sonic X- do they? Not really. I like petting soft things because my inner child is alittle girl- do they? Doubt it.

Friendshipis hard to call perfect, because it never IS. However, a TRUE friendship lasts forever. But sooner or later, things will go down, and things will go up again.

Being a person in and of itself counts as a mental mess up.

I can't say I've got a disease, but I've been through some awful crap lately that I don't think I deserve, as everyone else agrees- except, obviously, the people DOING it.

Anyway, the first and biggest stepof mental wellness is simple- yet very hard to achieve, and most people never do.

You have to discover yourself for who YOU are, not who others want you to be.

Once you open your heart and let your insid outside, things will get better- trust me.

The challenge, then, still remains, does it not? That was a bloody brilliant movie, even IF he used saved states.

Promising is against your 'beliefs?' Promising isn't a belief, it's a commitment.

Geez...Well...Let's see...

You don't believe in promises or commitments...

You don't have a family...

You don't seem to have any friends...

You don't have a job...

You don't have a religion...

Hm...Well, I guess I don't have half of those, either...(Job + Religion) But I'm not in your situation, either...

I honestly can't think of much to say that I haven't already.

But seriously, if you can't even make commitments like simple promises, I don't know what you're going to do. If you can't make a promise, it's like saying you can't guarantee you'l;l do your job well every day. Obviously, there IS no guarantee, but if you don't even promise that you'll TRY...

Ah, well.

When people say 'don't commit suicide', that means you shouldn't do it!! Afterall, it's a commitment, isn't it? Which means you can't do it, because it's against your beliefs...*blinkblink*

That worked out kinda odd, didn't it...?

Anyway, just keep looking, things will get better sooner or later. Time never stops.

Oh, boy...Problem is with psychologists is that no one KNOWS for sure what the problem is.

Even if they're right, often times the paient will reject it and think the psychologist/psychiatrist is the crazy one...

Um...Whoever said all that 'Don't go changing for other people' stuff ripped words from my mouth.
