I hate those damned money maps, they more or less take away all the actual strategic elements from the game and just turn it into a terrible Zerg-rush fest. I never liked battle.net which is pretty much riddled with idiots like that. | |||

I feel Gamecube was yet another fiasco. I'd specificly like to put a lot of blame on Capcom and their "Capcom 5" project which ended up being more or less a big fuck you to Nintendo. | |||

From Steam Update News: We'll also be releasing Half-Life: Blue Shift on Steam next week, which will be automatically playable by anyone who owns Half-Life 1, including those who purchased the Half-Life 2 Silver or Gold packages. Blue Shift is the second Half-Life expansion where you play as a security guard. I have Opposing Force but not Blue Shift so this is a really nice treat. It also includes a graphical enhancment which ups the polygon amount on all the characters and weapons. |

This doesn't have anything to do with HL Source, the pack was there already when Blue Shift was released in 2000. Since Half-Life started looking a bit dated they thought they could improve the models. I also think there's an unofficial high-resolution texture pack in the works... For a real HL remake, watch out for the mod Black Mesa Source. |

Yeah, Sunsoft had a unique style where they used a PCM bassline and the triangle wave channel for very synth-like drums. I think your best bet is to use the Winamp NSF plugin Not So, Fatso! and disable everything but the PCM channel, then use Winamp's diskwriter to record a wave file and edit out the sample using a wave editor of your choice. | |||

Actually the game switches soundtrack depending on the region code of your machine. So playing an import on a US console won't help. | |||

I only know of 1 Salamander game, it was ported to NES but renamed to Life Force. |
