What the shit? There are plenty of good SF2 mixes.

House is underrepresented on OCR. There isn't enough soul, jazz and funk vibes to combat the overall dullness.

I never understood in what aspect the zombies were getting smarter, they've used tools throughout the entire "canon". Do they talk and use guns now? I haven't seen the movie yet, it premiers in f*cking August over here. I don't know what the hell is taking them so long, there are no censor laws yet we have to wait longer than the germans who have to cut and re-dub the entire crap. It pisses me off to the point where I'm considering finding a download for it.

Maybe he meant that he's seen more technically impressive games on the PS2 than the others.

I'd settle for PC as well, but maybe that's not fair seeing as it's been the same platform for decades, as opposed to the others. Other than that I'd go for the Mega Drive and it's quality assets of platformers and arcade action.

SNES was mainly a Jap RPG gamer's console, and since there are so many of those it's obviously the overall most popular choice.

Though I prefer playing my games as opposed to watching/reading them, so that's my reason for prefering Mega Drive. SNES can't compete with its selection of action and shooter titles, the only real worthwhile games I can think of are Contra 3 (Too bad the POS top-down levels kill it), Gradius 3, R-Type 3 and Parodius.

They are pretty equal in the platformer department. Donkey Kong Country was a mediocre platformer which introduced nothing new and interesting to the formula, and the engine was pretty half-assed. Sega had their own counterpart in the form of Vectorman. The collision detection and the likes were better but the boring as shit levels made up for that.

I suck at Metroid. I've beaten Fusion and Zero Mission but they gave me some pretty obvious pointers. I have yet to play through Super Metroid.

I haven't touched Prime for a while, I had lots of problems with the bosses and then someone told me that the next boss I'm about to face is hard like hell compared to the others, so I got kind of dismotivated and haven't played it since.

Terminator for SNES was pretty damn terrible
Contra Force for NES, I guess it would be twice as good if it weren't for the unbearable slowdown. I can't believe Treasure made this.
Revolution X was the epitome of bad, gimmicky motion-capture games
Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel was an unforgivable disgrace to the series
Revenge of Shinobi for GBA was a bastardization of the best ninja franchise ever

It wasn't a port, it was a complete remake which had almost nothing to do with the original. It was set in feudal Japan. It was made by THQ, and we all know how good their games are.

They also remade Altered Beast for GBA, but that one was actually pretty decent and was a lot more faithful to the original. They even kept the classic voices, though they were re-recorded to better suit the overall B-movie atmosphere.

It seems like both Nintendo and Sony released their machines 1 year too early, there's barely any worthwhile software for them yet (Save for the Nintendogs craze in Japan).

I would very much appreciate a color hack for Super Mario Land 2, that game seriously needs some loving. Makes you wonder why Nintendo themselves never released a DX version like they did with Link's Awakening.

It'd be more annoying with ported GBA versions that have even lower resolution than the originals. The cropped screen size would probably be unbearable. On top of that, the GBA clock frequency is not as high as the Mega Drive which could cause some problems.

Seems like you live in pretty undisciplined and disrespectful areas. I never have problems with noisy people, and definately not cellphones going off. The only real problem for me is when you have to take a piss in the middle of a movie. Happened in Spider-Man 2, think I missed something important :/

From my experiences, British food is probably the worst in Europe. The best meal I ever had over there was a BK Whopper. And the London bombings are completely irrelevant, it doesn't magically make their food better.

Those aliens looked cuter than E.T. That scares me.

Spoiler:
I thought it was better than Independence Day. We don't know why the hell the shields failed, but at least it's better than uploading a Macintosh virus into a 100% incompatible alien computer.

I hate insects. I have developed some sort of spider sene (No pun intended) for them, and thanks to it I have avoided mosquito stings for years.

It feels as though most of my underground preferences have also seriously degenerated this century. There has been some innovation, but very bad innovation at that.
