It's interesting to see just how much, and at the same time, how little things have changed in Nirvana's legacy. Kurt hated the attention he had then, and he would've hated the attention he draws after his death I edited the thread title, by the way... Nothing really warrants a thread title all in caps. Please try to keep the forums tidy |

I don't like Tifa much in the game, but I think Cloud is the one who really should let her go... |
Tifa and Cloud are a great pair, and you can see the effect it's having on Tifa, in some parts of the game. I've seen the trailers, but not the translated ones. I've read up on the plot, though. Personally, I think it's a great thing to happen for VII. I would've prefered a playable game, and I think VII deserved it far more than X did Something for VI would be a great idea as well

Digital Aerial, Cable and Satilite is available in the UK, but we only have analogue cable for the TV. We also have a fast cable connection for the internet |
Cable is generally better than ADSL in the UK... Similar speeds, but lower contension ratios (edited by Kasumi-Astra on 04-05-04 08:11 PM)

Uh, by popular belief, it was suicide |
It's the nutcases that think Courtney Love killed him

VII Has the best story and plot. |
VI Has the best battle system, best villain and music. VIII has the best characterisation, joint with VI. VII is the best overall, in my opinion, with VI coming a very close second, with VIII in a safe third (restricted) | (restricted) |

Taryn: I would've prefered a DVD with the six re-cut episodes, without the extra footage. |
Another possibility would've been adding in the re-cut episodes into the standard DVDs, as extras. Extras on ADV DVDs are very rare, and I think anime enthusiasts deserve a lot more for the standard DVD prices that they charge. End of Evangelion is a good way of re-telling episodes 25 and 26... How could anyone tie up such a colossal plot neatly? It's not going to be what everyone wants, the whole show was never intended to be like that. I do imagine a wry smile on Anno's face, with a finger up at the fans who sent him death threats when I watch End of Eva, though

Anyone who wears full studio headphones looks like the guy out of the Freestyler video (by Bomfunk MCs). |
They just look really silly now I prefer in-ear earphones... They're more discreet, although they nacker your ear after a while. I might think about getting something between the two, if they're comfortable to wear and don't stand out too much...

Wow, that's really old ; |
It was the first phone to feature full express-on covers, one of my friends had one. I remember that one because I had an NK-402, which is an early model of the 3110. The 3210 was released soon after I bought it, and was much better than the phone I had... The pace of mobile phone companies releasing new models is obscene, they should leave at least a year or two in between releasing a new model in a given price range, or style.

Wow, it makes you wonder whether there are two people living in your body... Your concious and your subconcious... Makes you wonder whether hypnotism switches the places around... |
Being put in the place of my subconcious would be weird and kinda frightening... What if I had to stay there? Very scary indeed. You're the only person that's ever described it in detail, Taryn. I hope things go well for you Taryn, things look good right now, though (restricted) |

Pretty good, you could easily make a living out of your talent I didn't expect it to be left open, though, so I look forward to reading some more |
I sympathise with Hana alot... The thought about killing makes me feel rotten inside, let alone killing an innocent person... You put that emotion across really well

I had an exposure opperation done once. |
One of my teeth wasn't slotting into place right when I was younger, and still losing teeth. It was so bad that the gum had to be cut away and exposed. Then after a week, the protective patch that sealed the tooth away after surgery was taken out (without anesthetic), and a head fitted to the tooth which was then attached to my braces. It was pulled into place manually over a year. It was the most painful process in my life, ever

If you get one, your lips will be cut up for about a month, same for your boyfriend, if you have one |
Can be extremely painful, depending on how bad your teeth are You do learn how to live with them, though

Well, I don't have to worry about Lindows security threats any more... The magazine went out publishing yesterday, and the later edition came out with SuSE today |
I've got Knoppix, and I'm going to give it a go as soon as I get my hands on a working CDR Drive (the one I had recently died ). I think I'm definately going to give SuSE a try. I managed to find a linux driver for my modem without much trouble. Let's hope things work Is SuSE any better than Lindows?

Which operating system are you using? |
If you're using XP, and you have a copy, or a recovery CD on you, (you guessed it) it might be a good idea to re-install windows. It's not a extraordinary task, providing you have the drivers and backups of useful programs and work, it should take you about an hour and a half. Make sure you have absolutely everything you need, though. Back up work, favorites, e-mails, MP3s, ISP information and any other important information. Modem should be the most important driver you need to find, because I find that XP usually finds drivers itself for every componant but the modem. Also, when you have the modem, you can download other drivers too. If you decide to go ahead, there are plenty of people who know how here, but I'll keep an eye on the thread for you just in case you want to go ahead
