You bet PM5K are still around The last material they did was for the WWE Smackdown VS Raw game. The stuff's not bad, either, sounding mostly like the sort of stuff that went on the Anyone For Doomsday? album

However, right now it's only Spider and Adam left from the original line-up. Two were lost after AFD? was pulled and they made Transform, and the third was lost recently

I must say the entry range powerbook is burning a serious hole in my pocket now. They're becoming quite affordable now, starting at

*nods* I probably wasn't going to do a lot of graphics on it anyway, I save that for my main machine. Any on-the-spot stuff can be done in GIMP (jesus, why did they have to name it that? )

I must say that I've never had to compile a source of an application to run on a machine. I've done tonnes of stuff with my own programming projects, but never anything else. I'm not shy to learn, though. That is part of the reason I want to try something non-Windows. Is it usually easy to do?

Thanks guys It's not my PC that's full of spyware, it's my dad's PC... IE, (no, not IE! ) the one I'm using now

I met Chad in St Pancras Station today (the one you see Harry Potter's car flying away from) and she was very happy to see me. We got around the corner to King's Cross (the station that is used for the inside scenes in Harry Potter ) and I'd forgotten my luggage! It was still on the flippin' train!
So, mesa runs back to St Pancras to collect, pride only just in tact, and collect it and head home.

Chad bought me Panzer Dragoon Zwei for my Saturn (an underestimated classic, I might add), and I got

Actually, I was really short on time, and I thought Zophar's would turn up the goods quickly. Unfortunately, Zophar's is a little harder to navigate than I remember, and the popups that get around Firefox seriously started pissing me off >=(

So, I think I've made up my mind. I do want a Powerbook, it seems that it should be simple enough to set up a variety of languages that I may be using in my final year. I'm looking at the 12" model, because it's so diddy and good value for money.

Can anyone suggest a good third party Mac support site that has useful information that will be enough to tide me over if I do get a Powerbook?

Just want to say thank you to the people who migrated over from Craziness

I've just spent a long time looking at Powerbooks... So expensive I need to consider this one very carefully

Yeah, living in Hyrule would be cool. Lots of nice places to visit, a land where adventure is still possible, a land where you'd like to stay out for many days and many nights.
The memories I have from playing Ocarina of Time are unforgettable (In fact, it's been exactly six years to the day I started playing it )
There's also lots of girls to score with as well

I'm suprised nobody's mentioned Tetris yet... A land where life is simple and things work out in the end

Thanks Taryn, that's going to be super-useful when I get around to getting a Mac

And yes, I was thinking of buying Photoshop if I could find it cheap enough. I wanted to abstain from having illegal software on my machines

Either that or I was thinking it was harder to find Photoshop for the Mac

Eh, after making careful decisions, I've decided to go with a Vaio instead. I thought that spending so much on something that I had no idea (initially) how to opperate was the deciding factor. Windows might be becoming tiresome for me, but at least I can count on it in the short-term. I don't mind a little maintainance anyway

I did end up getting a good deal, though. It's slimline, light and has a 6200 GeForce Go graphics. I know that won't exactly set Half Life 2 alight, but it'll run all the games I'd need to

Sonic 3 & Knuckles, without a doubt is the best Sonic game ever. The design, ambition, use of technology, the cut scenes between zones... All just so much more than anything any other Sonic game has been before.

It's truely a masterpiece, and I'm confident in saying that it's much better than Sonic 2 by far

I'd also like to point out that it's pretty much the true form of Sonic 3... The perfect version. All the stuff they had to hold back from Sonic 3 to make the Christmas launch date, and more.
