Maybe Soldiers will think twice about taking photos of themselves abusing Iraqis.

If I was that Woman in the US photos, or the men behind the faked UK photos, I'd be thinking bloody hard about how sorry I should be.

Excelent post, Leg... People compare the board far too much to other boards. Stuff that. We're Acmlmers. We're unique, and what's more, we have the best right here

I'm pretty isolated from the media this year, I have no idea whether the British guy is any good or not... Can't be as bad as ours last year... Nil! Haha!

I drink Apple Tango. It's fizzy apple, obviously, and it's probably got loads of suger in it. It's better than anything else on the market

Speaking of which... The new Apple Fanta is green... Apple juice is yellow! It looks- And tastes- sickly.

I think Aeris and Tifa are both annoying in the game... But bringing back Aeris would be awful. Leave her dead! She has greater importance that way!

I've been keeping track of this for a while... It certainly looks great... Especially Sephy and Vincey

This time it's my turn... Maybe not as glamourous as FuSoYa's privilage in being in "Out There", but I think almost as cool

My University is advertising in Edge Not only my uni, but my school, too, Computer and Management Sciences

When I went to school, I never used to be proud of it as a learning centre, but I sure as hell am proud of my university

Our school has a great reputation because we're taught all sorts of skills besides the basics of the course we're enrolled on (software engineering in my case). We're taught professionalism, key skills, systems design and everything we'd need when entering the workplace.

My little two pennies about my University Feel free to comment, or add a little bit about your school

...Or maybe the fact that you're looking down on Link, and not seeing his full body height in the top down Zeldas

Well, I'm definately looking forward to the new Zelda game... I really didn't like Wind Waker, because of the cartoon style. I do not specifically mean the cell shading, but I feel the hadling and the cutting edge of Ocarina was dulled for this game It just didn't feel right...
Even though my head is looking forward to it... My heart is a little more reserved. Apart from games like GT3, GTA Vice City, Metroid Prime and Kingdom Hearts, I think the age of the classic game died with the 32 / 64 bit generation. I doubt we'll see the likes of Ocarina again. Decade long gestation periods are not financially viable at Nintendo anymore, and I doubt Miyamoto has as much hands on time either. He has to concentrate on teaching his art to new and bright tallent.

In other news, however, Metroid Prime 2 is difficult to judge at this stage. I haven't seen enough material that shows us what will be new.
Then again, the original didn't appeal to me in any way until I played it.
One of the few games I would buy without reading reviews in the coming year, I think.

Then there's the DS Metorid... Suffice to say it's reinstated my faith in Nintendo with armouring themselves against the impending PSP. The PSP will indeed be more powerful, but with killer apps like a 3d Metorid, I'll seriously consider buying the platform to play it on.

Thankfully for us, our magazines have much less adverts than ones from North America. We get them in the UK sometimes, and it's almost half the magazine that is devoted to adverts!

The ones in Edge are unique though... You get adverts for jobs in the industry usually. Rare, Rockstar, Climax and Ubisoft have all been seen it's pages before looking for people to work for them

About a week's time for me. I leave Sheffield for Reading next Monday. Then it's up to me to find a job for three months until University starts up again

Nope. It was no more justifiable in 1945 than it would be today.

It was a terrible thing to destroy two cities full of civilians. It is because of this that laws for war were written.

Even if the bombs stopped the war there could've been a different way to use the technology to force the Japanese to surrender.

The bombs could be used to destroy military targets. I know the scale of the destruction the bombs means that you can hardly be precise about the targets you select, but what won the war was the surrendering of Japan, not the defeat of Japan.

Japan was not significantly crippled enough to halt it's war machine, it was instead daunted with the firepower of the dawn of the nuclear age.
The technology only needed to be used in a responsible way as to convince the Japanese had nothing that could match nuclear weapons.
