Gasp, i cannot beleive this!. How the fook do you make it so well and exactly if not perfectly like SMB3!. BTW do you rip the gfx from Smas? cause I'd love ta know.

No need ta be talking like ima newbie!. Ya i know they're exgfx but what i wanted ta know is how everything else is done like the overworld thats exgfx isn't it?.
And btw has anyone found how the demoworld pipes are done, I'm dying to find oot It'd be great if we all knew how

This is my hack im working on, and is the best i've done so far!.

1. It isn't complete yet, still a few things to fix like the main character GFX pretty messed up.
2. Can't decide what to call it yet, i have called it Lario's Adventure, but it doesn't suit it i think i change it to Hambro's Adventure or somthin

Anyway heres a couple of shots of.

YES! Bowser can some plz make a hack were you play as him, i think that'd be the best since you've never really played as him in any Mario game.
Hmm but that may prove to be somewhat troublesome to keep him in the same frame for pose gfx.

Ey hold on, NO! they're NOT all like that one at all!!. That's just one them and is only the start of it (aka not quite finished) and its in the Ice world.

Hi.

I'm just wonderin what's the best tile editor that anyone has used for making hand drawn gfx for main character *in place of Mario's gfx*.
I have Tile Layer Pro and YY-Chr, i like YY-chr much more then crappy TLP.

Is there anyone who's done this before and made some hand drawn enemies ect, cause if, I'd very much apperciate their help!.

Hi.

I've got some pics that i want as a BG, i've reduced the colours to 16 and tried importing the pic into YY-chr as 128x128 bmp. But how do i get the right palette to go with the exgfx file, just as the image looks?.

I'm trying to make some custom exgfx. I've taken some images with my digcam and converted them to 4bpp and I'm gonna have it aa a BG but it's proving to be shit hard with the keeping the right colors as the pic!.

Btw It's a wood log.

I've been trying to find the gfx in all my sega smd & bin roms i have, but never can see anything rippable. How did you rip those gfx from sonic?. I've tried usin both yy-chr and TLP, but still can't find any viewable gfx just garb!.

Yeah, i've done it now there here, but i had ta try and resize them again, this time its looks a little better in reapeat consistancy i hope, stuffed them up by shrinking so i could paste into yy-chr oh well.

Btw smwedit, how do you make yer BG's and make them look like the image or screenshot that you take from a game like DKC?. I've tried this with Dkc but its the fuckin palette that i'm still stuffed about. Do you need to paste it into YY-chr and save it as exgfx. I've tried using the images .pal file by loading in YY-chr but doesn't work.

I'm having a weird problem with the smashable bricks that i have in my level, Instead of Mario hitin his head on them when he's small he just goes through them all the time like their blank tiles. So whats wrong here? any suggestions. The brick map16 number is tile 204, is there some certain spot that it needs to be in or somethin.

Ahh shit! so that's what it was dolp! . Thanks a ton Kyouji.

It should be sold now. I had it set to act like the tile number it was in, which was 204.
