| "Not many creatures live around here. The dragons have scared most living things away from this region, or into the mountains. There are some orcs and goblins who live within these mountains, and there are rumors of a magus locked away in a tower around here, but we have not seen him." "The orcs and goblins leave us alone, for the most part, because their numbers are fewer than ours. In a battle, we would wipe them out of these mountains." Rurik quit speaking as a small group of cooks came up to the table, and placed full plates before every person seated at the head table. The meals were simple, but large, fit for workers. Laura had a slightly smaller sized plate than Rurik or Brottor, although the cooks had given every person at the table a glass of dwarven spirits. Rurik nodded to the others seated at his table. "Do not worry if you cannot finish it, the cooks are used to cooking for workers, not travlers." He laughed as he began his meal. |

| The attacking warrior's sword was blocked by a floating white shield of energy. "Pure additive magic. The stuff that binds the multiverse together." Rahl spun to the side as the bolts struck, and swung his blade at the attacking warrior's back. |

| An older man, wearing a pair of dresspants and a white T-shirt, walked up to the desk and signed the name "Johannius" onto the signup sheet. He then walked to a nearby chair, his black dress shoes giving him a cadence, sat down and opened the suitcase he was carrying. | Rahl made no move to dodge, as he was impaled on the blades. However, his form wavered a final time and vanished, along with the form of his warrior ally. Both reappeared a good distance away, and Rahl let loose a spell he had been charging. The group of enemy warriors felt an increase in their weight as the ground around them cracked under the weight of the air. OOC: Graviga. When Rahl and his ally's forms first wavered, that was Rahl casting an illusion spell on them, to make a visual clone, and turn them invisible and silent. Since then, him and the Warrior have moved to better positions so as to not be caught in Rahl's spell's area of effect. |

| A man wearing a white shirt and dresspants floats down into the arena. He pushes up his glasses as he sets down the suitcase in his left hand. "Someone could have given me better directions," he muttered to himself. He brushed his mustache before opening the suitcase and pulling out two Japanese swords, each two to three feet long. The suitcase is closed and kicked off to the side. He slid both sheaths through his belt, and stood there, facing the Dreamlander. |

| For a piece of university work, I need to 'identify five specialized terms related to your operating system, for example, an Applications Programmer Interface (API) in Windows.' The problem being I don't know any specialized terms related to Windows. If I could get some of them, I could look up the info on them myself. |

| Shamus, happy his superiors had given him a prototype instead of a old model, noted the impact of the gauss pistols' ammunition coliding . . . with the ground at his sides. "I never knew the electromagnitic armour could deflect gauss shots. Intresting." Shamus replied by floating his mech slightly in the air, an anti-gravity field giving the mecha the ability of flight. |

| Johannius easily flipped above the beam, as his kodachi glowed red. The air around Kirby burst into flames, the orb large but weak. Johannius positioned himself to attack Kirby as he landed. OOC: 15-foot radius blast, centered on you. I have a character write-up for Johannius for BESM if you want to read it. |
