| A white disk flashed into being under Rahl, and he dropped through it, the blades clipping strands of hair. Another disk appeared a good hundred feet off the ground. Rahl floated through it, and quickly launched a fireball down upon the warriors, keeping one eye on his ally to make sure the mages didn't overwhelm him. | |||

| She might be over with it sooner than a few years. I found out a bit of what happened, and will finish being enlightned before I go to bed. The thing is, my sister, father, and myself have all gone through the same thing as her, and my fahter and I are dealing with it, as we probably will be for the rest of our lives. At least I have some common knowledge on the subject. |

| A man walked out of the door, holding what looked like an explosive detionator. He stepped to the side of the door before pressing the detionator, which caused an explosion to rock the buried city, at least twice as strong as before, and a cloud of black smoke rolled through the door. As the smoke cleared, he passed through the door again, and cursed. The door was fine, without a scrach. He began to set up more explosives at the base of the door, oblivious to everyone else in the room. |

"I need to be picked up." He turned off the radio again, and typed a quick set of passwords into the keyboards around him. Most of the moniters turned off, the others dimmed to nothing as Shamus climbed out of his seat, squeased around behind it and opened a small door. He disappeared into the darkness beyond the door as the door quietly swung close. |
