Well, I'm pretty sure those kinds of things will not be revealed until E3. I have a feeling there might be a mic. on the Revolution controller. |

It hasn't been announced yet. Wait for a solid release date first. Ziff, it was not my intention to insult you... I just realize that not every person sees this the way those in the industry currently feel about it. I don't expect you to feel the way they do either, that's a pretty standard response that a lot of consumers have-- they don't care. It doesn't concern them; it was funny, even. However, I've been talking to a lot of people lately who disagree with EGM's haphazard deicision to print that. It will be a big let down to a lot of expectant gamers who still are expecting to walk in there at the begining of next month and pick up their game. Kind of sucks too... To think of a really younger gamer, getting all excited about it and passionately looking forward to it, and being let down. Especially since some uninformed stores are spreading the news unknowingly, as I stated in one of my above posts. Sorry, but I just can't see what EGM did as being decent, in any sense. |

I heard that one of the themes in Animal Crossing is a song from Yoshi's Story but backwards... Like in the load game screen, and stuff.

I'm shocked DS sold so incredibly well in Europe! With no sign of PSP coming out in Europe any time soon, I'd have to say the day is Nintendo's. --- "I believe we made the most beautiful thing in the world." - Ken Kutaragi, Sony Computer Entertainment President After 3 days of use, just remember that. |

There isn't going to be a "next GameBoy" any time soon. Even Reggie said so. Not this E3, and probably not next E3 either. Nintendo will come out with lots of other shockers and surprises though. We just have to wait 54 more days to find out what they are.

Hey, if you want to see a mock-up that is not real, and looks like garbage too... Take a look at this. http://stuffo.howstuffworks.com/nintendo-revolution.htm Hideous. This |

They are ALL posessed. Even King DeDeDe is usually either posessed or misunderstood. A Waddle Dee turns out to be a helper, Cook Kawasaki isn't so bad after all, Meta-Knight is actually a friend rather than a foe... The Kirby world is weird in that sense. The only true enemy is Dark Matter.

Originally posted by Ziffski They launched it a while ago, years ago even, it's results are just coming into fruition now. Nintendo got the rights to "Rumble" back when they bundled the first Rumble Pak with StarFox 64. Microsoft just payed them off. Typical. And, finally, poor Sony is the one getting hit. And hard. I doubt they'll have to take the PlayStation games with Dual Shock and Dual Shock controllers of the market though, it's too late for that. Maybe the PS3 will just have controllers that do not have a rumble feature. I don't think this would be such a BIG deal, honestly. |

There is no way Nintendo is going to support something that old. Sorry.

You're reading what I typed all wrong! I didn't mean it was typical of Microsoft, I just meant it was typical business fare. Like... "That's fine, Microsoft just took the route of paying the company". Which is why I said "poor Sony". I don't think Microsoft did anything wrong, but Sony who isn't in a position to pay these people is getting screwed. It didn't take the firm 10 years to realize it. Like I said, the results of the law suit are only coming into fruition now. |

Not saying Dark Matter was in Super Star, just saying that Dark Matter (which can also be "Nightmare" from Kirby's Adventure/Nightmare in Dreamland.) is the only true evil. Everyone else seems to be semi-good. Even Marx probably meant well, he just let his greed get the best of him.

I remember playing an early beta version of Super Smash Bros. DX (otherwise known as Super Smash Bros. Melee) at Nintendo's GameCube premiere event called "Cube Club". The Nintedno GameCube was not out yet, but Nintendo rented out an open warehouse in Hollywood and set up a bunch of beta GameCube games. Super Smash Bros. Melee has come a long way since the beta version I played back then-- there was less characters in the character select menu, which was layed out funny. The characters felt different too, little quirks in the game mechanics that they fixed. However, what changed to most was the levels. Kirby's level (Green Greens) had stones everywhere, and instead of the waffle cone pattern, it was all on a giant gray rock. Most characters were not available to use, especially new additions and secret characters. Ice Climbers were not there yet, and neither was Peach, or Zelda. In Ness' level, you could hide in the chiminey as Kirby, but people caught on to me. I would love to have that beta copy of the game... *sigh* |

I wonder what kind of effect this will have on the next generation PlayStation console? Maybe the DualShock 3 will just be the Dual 3, if you get what I mean. Not likely, but if it's wireless as well, they might actually consider it. (Ditching the rumble, that is.) Who knows. I don't think I'd miss the rumble in my controller TOO much... In other news... Sony delayed the press meeting at which they were going to reveal the PS3. It should have been tomorrow if everything went as planned, but maybe this whole fiasco has impacted it? Just merely speculation on my part. It's not like I can't just wait 47 more days to find out about it anyway. (edited by Kirby PopStar on 03-31-05 02:54 AM) |

Does anyon remember that "Dog's Life" song that was in on of the episodes of the Super Mario Bros. 3 series? I only heard it once when I was like 4 or 5, and I remember it... It was so cheesy. But it gets in and out of my head every now and then ever since. If anyone could find this for me, I'd be so grateful.

My choice is probably obvious-- Kirby! Kirby is such a versatile character, and his games always re-invent what ever genre they are supposed to be modeled after, as well as perfectly integrating the Kirby concept with abilties and lots of fun, simple mini-games, etc. |

Yeah, I'd prefer to have something like that for me DS too. That gold PSP cover is really just for the show off type who wants none other than to prove they can afford it. The materialistic world we live in... (I wouldn't complain if I had it, though. ) |

That's wonderful! Congratulations! Becoming a mother is such a powerful and life-changing experience. There's a definite change in life-style that may take place for you, including many days that involve sitting, nursing, changing diapers and not much else. Everyone needs breaks and motherhood is no exception. When the baby is born, don't forget to schedule time for yourself, that you can count on to maintain activities and fun things you enjoy. Although you might have to adjust your schedule down, as necessary for the baby, make sure to still retain your interests. Having children is such a miracle. ... I personally don't plan on it any time soon though. I've got a lot of livin' to do!

Very nice! I like the way you draw Kirby. Poor Mobile Sprout, covered in the sticky goop. Well, I guess it's not so bad... It's actually kind of fun. In Super Mario Sunshine, I remember I used to always guide Mario into throwing himself on to the goop so he'd get it all over, just because it was fun. Excellent work, I'd love to see more. |

I beat you to it, as I did this in December (didn't post it here, though, just showed it to friends) however, you put them all in the right positions and stuff which I didn't get around to. You did a good job! |
