I have one too!!! It's the same exact one! I keep all of my Mario memoribilia and etc. inside of it! I'll take a pic soon, as proof... It looks just like that, I've had it since I was a little kid.

Those were the days...

I heard all about this some time in September-- with those hints... A boy in the forest, and that marionette (find(s)me)... Weird stuff.

I hope whatever this is, that it lives up to the hype. This had better be good.

Anyone with a flash cart can already do that. I take all kinds of music and videos with me every day on my Nintendo DS (or previously, my GBA SP)... It's really a lot of fun to watch anime episodes and video clips and stuff on my free time at school, etc.

Has anyone heard about the new DS game, Jam With The Band? It looks really interesting.

Check out this video of people playing it.
http://www.1101.com/nintendo/band_bros/DS-demo.html

The official site for it is below. Play some Mario music by clicking on the purple hue of japanese text on the front page. It's fun!
http://www.1101.com/nintendo/band_bros/

It's going to have music from Mario, Kirby, Sailor Moon, Full Metal Alchemist...

Flash Carts will give you more use out of your GameBoy Advance or Nintendo DS than you could ever possibly imagine. I use my Nintendo DS not only as a music and video player, but I use PocketNES to play classic NES games... like Little Nemo, and Adventures of Lolo.

No...

Sorry to ruin the best part about the PSP, but the game is Before Crisis: Final Fantasy VII, and it is NOT for the PSP. It's an action RPG involving network play. The story follows the Turks, and their search for Aeris. It's a cell phone game for a Japanese brand of cell phones. (However, rumour has it they will bring those phones to the US as well. --http://neasia.nikkeibp.com/wcs/leaf/CID/onair/asabt/news/330340) You can use the phone's built in camera to take pictures of things which get you different kinds of materia. For example, if your picture is mostly white, you'll get cure materia.

The DVD version of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children will be a much better purchase than the PSP version, which is on a UMD disc. There's no point for people who have portable DVD Players. The PSP's version of the movie is on a smaller screen, lower quality, and all around suckier. You'll have to begin watching the movie on a full charge, and by the time it's over, you'll only have the battery power for a short session of gameplay if you want. Imagine holding your little PSP up for an hour and a half to watch a movie. Or if you were on a car ride, struggling to find the right angle to look at the screen (looking at the wrong angle, like a lot of monitors, will make you lose colors, and the picture) as the car bumps on the road, and turns. Perhaps you want to share the cinematic experience with a buddy of yours. It's not so fun anymore when you need to sit so uncomfortably close to that person, hovering over the PSP's screen.

There are lots of moving parts inside of the PSP, because it uses discs. A lot of people in Japan are taking theirs back under warranty due to disc read errors (and complaints of the buttons frequently sticking? ) and finding the systems durability to be less than suitable for a handheld. Those people who have these problems and ordered from an import site are screwed-- good luck getting another one. To those in Japan, Sony only carries an uncomprehensive 90 day warranty for all of their products, and if something where to happen after that short time... Well, you're looking at near $200 + memory card prices + accessories prices + games cost down the hole until you can get together another 200 bucks for purchasing a replacement. I heard a story elsewhere that a guy in Japan was taking his PSP out of the box for the first time, and he dropped it. Guess what? The damn thing shattered like glass.

The price of PSP games is noticably more than the price of Nintendo DS games at the moment as well. I hope nobody gets the wrong idea, as if I am trying to bring the PSP down. I love Sony, the company permits me to go to E3 every year. It's just that, they're trying to beat Nintendo at the game they've been playing since 1989.

All of these titles? Why is everyone acting like Nintendo is porting over every game possible? DS isn't going to be a port system. The only thing close to a port as of now is Super Mario 64 DS, and they simply did this so they could have a sure-hit game helping to get those initial batch of Nintendo DS's off the shelves. I honestly don't think they are going to pull a Super Mario Advance with this one. Expect to see more unique titles as time goes by. Oh, and don't expect another Super Smash Bros. game. I'll be really surprised if they do come out with one any time soon. Masahiro Sakurai freaking quit because all of the pressure put on the poor guy to make a sequal right after he had finished "Melee". Even if they did come out with another Super Smash Bros., it just won't have his magic touch that makes all HAL and Kirby games he is associated with so wonderful. (I am however, starting to see that specific Sakurai "touch" in the other games he is being involved with, like Meteos for instance.)

My favorite Nintendo DS title right now is Daigasso Band Brothers (to be called Jam With The Band in the US when released next year) because it's an excellent music game that I can play on the go. I've always wanted that, but nothing really ever satiated that desire. It's just what I needed.

Regardless or not if you like the Nintendo DS as a console, you can't deny the fact that some realy great games are coming out for it... and imagine the great games that haven't been announced yet. Tecmo's Tomonobu Itagaki, claims he wishes to work on games for Nintendo DS, stating that the system would be far better to produce for than the PSP. He invisioned a game with a premise similar to Dead Or Alive: Beach Volleyball, but the touch screen is used to interact with and touch the girls. Koji Igarashi, would like to make a Castlevania game similar to Castlevania: Aria Of Sorrow on the GBA, but utilize the touch screen. Toshihiro Nagoshi, of Sega, was asked by Nintendo if he would like to develop a version of Super Monkey Ball for the NDS, to which he replied he definitely has an interest in making such a game. Not to mention Square Enix's new buddy up with Nintendo, and all of the new Final Fantasy games slated to be on the Nintendo DS. Final Fantasy III, Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles DS, and more possible if you look at the survey packaged with the Japanese Final Fantasy 1&2: Dawn of Souls on the GameBoy Advance. And who knows, with any creative new Final Fantasy games... maybe even Kingdom Hearts. Yasumi Matsuno, (Final Fantasy XII) says that the touch screen of the Nintendo DS has much potential for various game types.

As far as the PSP goes... Uh... I guess I like Lumines.

I made a bet with max about a month ago. I said that there will NEVER be a game called "Grand Theft Auto 4". If he wins, I owe him the sum of 1 million dollars. That's how confidant I am.

Nope, that's the only thing. Try sticking a pen into your GBA slot where the switch is, then turn it on. You'll be amazed.

Hey Acmlm Boarders! I don't know if a lot of you remember me, I'm starting to show up here less and less, because... well... life is showing up more and more. I'm in the last semester of my senior year in high school, the beginning of my life in "the real world" is fast arriving!

... And so, I'll be going to college and striving for that ever-coveted career in the game development field. I can take the crunch time and the long hours in front of a computer-- making games is what I live to do.

Anyway, I've just completed a game that will likely serve in a job portfolio or virtual resum

The "Read Me" that comes with the game will clear up pretty much everything, but I will explain it here for you anyway.

You have the basic idea. HELL Blocks (red) and HOLY Blocks (blue) can only be stood on if your character is the corresponding attribute. To transform, you must first pick up either the HOLY or HELL attribute with the mouse by running the cursor over it. Then, you must touch the character with the mouse to transform him. However, you can only transform in mid-air. (Try jumping onto the mouse cursor) Hope this helps. Check out the read me for further assistance.

(The tutorial that will soon be available on the site is in development. Sorry about that. =/)

Great! I hope you enjoy it. Some parts are quite difficult, but don't give up!

A note about the check point charms-- the idea is to collect them while you are in both holy and hell forms; meaning you'll have to play through each level twice to finish the game 100%. You can die in the process of getting them if that makes it easier.
