Hi!
Now I'm trying for 2 days to create my own SMB2-Levels with this great program, but unfortunately I still don't understand how to use such things like "pointers" or "ground setting" objects properly. When I downloaded this program there was no readme-file included. I also didn't find a solution on the homepage of acmlm as well as any other help in google. I've also tried the F1-Key in the program but the description is too short.
So I would be very glad if someone could send me a link or a readme-file or anything else, that could help me!

Best Regards

Hi!
Thank you very much for your prompt replies, especially thanks to Googie!
I've read the readme-text carefully, but I'm still not sure what exact functions the special objects have.
Ok, I know, the "Pointers" for example have something to do with the doors and entrances. But I don't understand how I can find the right coordinates to set them properly. One time in the normal SMB2 game I changed a "Pointer" in area 00 at the beginning when you fall from the sky. So I put the pointer of the door at the bottom which was at the left side to the very right side. When I played the game and I entered the door I got to Level 3-2 instead of area 02...
Another problem I have, is with the ground objects: When they are "zero", then they change the height of the ground. When I move now the object one unit to the right then it shows the number 1 and the ground moves some units to the right. (I'm not sure). When I move the object again and again one unit to the right it changes to "2 Skip", "3 Skip", "4 Back", "5 Poin.", "6 Grnd" (=Which changes the colors of the ground), and then several question marks (7? to 14?) up to "15 End"
So I don't understand the meaning of these different objects. Is it necessary to add some of the objects like "2 Skip", and whats the difference between "2 Skip" and "3 Skip" and what exact function have the other objects like "4 Back" a.s.o.?

I know, that I'm asking a lot of questions, but I just didn't find any other sources in the web and I think here is the only possibility for me to obtain some information.

So I would be very glad if someone could help me again!

Best regards
