Snipes smiled.

"Actually, I don't really know, as most of my thought processes were already insstalled on my system when the people who reactivated me did so. Because of that, No-one alive seems to know how I became intelligent, but I am. It's something I've always wondered about, but after a while I forgot about it. And the gender polarity, it is used to help forge an identity, giving you a tangible representation of yourself in respect to others. The third generatio- Hang on! What's that down there?!"

As he had flown over the forest, Snipes spotted a limp form lying on the ground in the jungle, presumably injured. Slowing down, Snipes wondered why the figure was there.

"Hey, there's something down there, and it looks like it could use our help!"

Snipes flew down towards the thing, and as it came into view Snipes saw it was a velociorapter, wearing damaged armour. Landing, Snipes checked it's pulse.

"It's still alive! I hope I can use a medpack on it!"

Reaching into his backpack, Snipes pulled out a portable medpack and administered it to the dinosaur, then watched as it slowly regained conciousness.

Looking at Phantron with his mouth half-open, Snipes could not beleive what he had seen and heard. After all, with his auditory implants, he had heard the incantation as clear as daylight.

"Wow. You never told me you could do that!"

Turning back to the dinosaur, Snipes massaged it's wrist to try and wake it up faster.

I'd like to sign up, please.

Long game against members of a mafia-like gang called "The Hand", a powerful crime group run by Andrei Zdrok (The leader), who will be the boss character. Location is the descripit alleyways between 'abandoned' buildings that house the main base of operations (the HQ) of The Hand, which Snipes has come back to on a whim. The regular enemies have machine guns, brass knuckles, and the territorial advantage. I will be playing as Snipes, of course.

It would be awsome, GP. All I think you would need to do is take the actions HH and I prescribed, and it should fix the glitches with the pipes.

"Sounds fun."

Noting where Allaura is going, Snipes careully timed a grenade drop, droping it excatly when it would land on Allaura if she didn't move. Snipes then flew sideways around her, And began to fire again.

For such an ugly hack, I only saw a couple of simple things to fix, and *Yay!* no palette problems.

Comments:

1. looks good, nothing wrong here.

2. you may want to move the left sumo brother, look at his fire

3. Looks good, but you may want to add a few enemies or obstacles.

4. Pretty good, but the top of the small hill-thing at the edge of soda lake is not the same colour as the bottom.

5. No difference here from the original SMW, you may want to change it a bit.

6. Looks good, but what happens when you don't have a cape?

7. looks interesting, but where the ground ends under the concrete blocks, you could add a non-solid right edge object.

8. Pretty good, but what is the garbled yellow thing?

9. Neat, but the link between the two platforms isn't the greatest.

10. good, but again, if you don't have a cape in that area you don't have a chance.

11.good, but a little repetitive.

12. Nice, It the yellow rectangle in fact a replacement for the yoshi coin?

13. Looks good, but you might want to remove the yellow pipe to make it a challenge.

14. Good, but I can still see the original level "Awsome". You may want to change it a bit more.

15. Fairly good, but what's with the garbage tiles? north of the top path?

16. Good, but please raise your ground up a tile, no-one can see it when it's that low.

Overall, I think this is actually pretty good in spite of it's "ugliness". I'm going to try this one.

ooc: Dont' worry, Snipes doesn't leave people in the dust when he doesn't need to.

Snipes looked at Cyberaptor with a hint of surprise; he hadn't expected him to have a computer backpack, but then again he wouldn't have know from how cyberaptor was lying on the ground.

"Yea, when Phantron and I found you, you looked pretty shaken up. Did you get in a fight or something, because we found you out cold with a few bruises. You think you can walk?"

With that, Snipes got up and pointed into the forest.

"We were on our way there, to look for any inhabitants of the isalnd, or anything tht could lead us to a clue. What were you doing here?"

I'm fairly good with fireworks MX 2005 and .ico files. If you wanted I could work on something. The pic i posted was a gift for everyone who has put time and effort into this endeavor.

Unfortunately Ice man, I think you would need to figure out where the pointer to the palette is, and then copy the palette into a RATS tag and repoint it, otherwise you would need to split the palettes like I do. ex. Rows 0 + 1 are for the dome submap, and 2 + 3 are for the valley submap. Limited, but it works. Still, it depends on how LM reads the palette files. If it reads them as one, and you repoint, then it will not look the same in LM as it does in-game, and you will be hex editing one of the submaps. Sorry, but that's the best I can do.

Ouch. OK, try selecting tile 25 in the MAP16 editor, and check to see what it's act like setting is. Also, see if any sprites or objects overlap mario. Finally, what happens if you enter the level as big mario? Is it any different from small mario?

OK, looking at that, does that mean that the tile one down from the first tile would be

00 1C 00 1C
00 04 00 38?

So, if only the tile number, and not the other data byte were used, I would venture a guess that a 3 tile by 3 tile portion of the MAP16 could be explained sort of like this:

All-in-all, that setup reminds me of the MAP16 format used in SMW, except that that's only a part of it. Perhaps then a MAP16 editor based off of the one in LM could be used, assuming that I've figured out the graphics low byte?

well, try this- load blocktool, remove all of the blocks, and then save that to the SMW rom. If that doesn't work, then you may need to save all of the levels, palettes, bypass lists, palettes, and everything else you can export/import with LM and insert it into a fresh ROM.

I'm pretty good with a couple out-of-the-way languages, NQC and the RCX languages for programming the RCX 2.0 microcomputer made by LEGO. I dunno if you want a language like those, but I 'm good with them.
