I believe it would be possible, but only if you knew ASM enough to move the table that controlled the entrances' data, then yea, sure.

Spinning around to face the knives, Snipes crossed his arms in an attempt to protect himself. Closing his eyes, he hoped that he would survive the attack, concentrating on them not hitting him. Strangely, Snipes never felt the blows. Looking up, all he saw were the three blades on the ground, Half-disintegrated.

"Wha... What happened?! Why did the blades do that..?"

Looking over at Tuxydon, Snipes sat down, staring at him

With that, Snipes administers a medpack to Tuxydon and walks off, his silouette black against a deep orange in the receeding evening sun.

Well, by my (most likely flawed) Calculations, the Layer one tiles do not fill an entire byte. I think there may be room for one more tile that could be custom ASM'd to use LM's standard ponter list, but in ASM modify it to the new level number. Then, after making it with LM, you would need to Hex edit the tile pointer, changing it into your new tile, or replace an existing tile with yours instead of placing in a new one. Complicated and vague, I know, But in the interest of helping, there is my two cent's worth.

I beleive they might be seperate, because then Nintendo could have simplified the programming for the firey pirhana plant by reusing the fireballs, (unless I have forgotten whether the plant has one sprite with variations or two sprites) but changing a byte during the sprite generation maybe to make them fall through the ground. I would think that they are seperate sprites, because they exist outside of mario's movements, which would move them too without the right programming.

As a sprite generator, look up the code for the bullet bill shooter, or the torpedo ted shooter. If you trace their code, you should be able to find out how to generate a sprite and set it's direction.

For that, copy and paste the .bin files he gives you into your ROM, by highlighting his code (Hex editor specific), then in the ROM, locate a big enough area, RATS it, and paste the copied code over the FF's that are there.

Nce screens. Looking at the first shot, it seems to match the GFX for the sea in Bubble Crab's stage in MMX2. I hope Anikiti has much luck with this.

I was working on the major ASM part of COTMK 1, and I need a little help, Mainly with the sprite data. Does anyone know;

1. How to change a sprites' X/Y location?

2. How to implement custom block interaction on the sprite side *if* it isn't automatic?

The reason I need this is because I'm setting up the control sprite, and need to know how to move a sprite around to let me trigger the custom blocks I need.

For some regular ASM, does anyone know a way of setting up tables? It would clear up a large amount of hardcoding I would need to do for the sprite's X/Y location settings.
