Oh. I newver realized that. I thought what might help is if someone used this to isolate only the BG flash code. Then people could use lightning in their levels without too much extra ASM.

Hey! Does anyone know how to make a custom block explode? I know Fu did it in hios custom blocks, but I can't figure out how to, because I used block tool and the JSL was erased, so I can't trace it.

I picked chuck and 2-legged koopa, because chuck could help me stay fit and be a cool guy to hang out with, and the koopa would be a cool guy to make games with.

OR, you replace the 72-pin connector. pretty easy to do if you have the replacement. (search google for dustin's 8-bit repair center) Nice picture BTW. looks good.

OK, because I need to have a brick that explodes when it is touched by a certain sprite that I am programming. does anyone know of a routine that can do what I would like, just like the routine that Fu's SMB3 blocks call?

What do you mean he steals signature stuff from me? I only see some things that are there because they are pretty damn generic, just listing out what stats I have. He can leave that part in if he wants, I don't care.

Now, about SMWR. I thought it was pretty good. I liked the way KT? Used the GFX he used. The GFX were good. I think that KT will be able to clean up SMWR2 with a little time. Too bad though that KT can't reply to our comments.

Shoot. I had this same problem. I don't know if you tried this already, but if you tried to move the warp that is not receiving mario to where he is being warped to, then moving the warp back, that would help, kinda like this:

Star "a" is used, suposedly sending you to star "b", but instead sending you to location "c". To fix it, move star "b" to location "c" and test. if it works, move star "b" back to the original position.

Another method is to do all but the last step (moving star "b" back to the original position), and then deleting both stars and re-doing the connection from scratch. Those two methods helped me out.

I take it you have checked the event tile settings and the destroy tile table? If the latter has two entries for the same event, that could be causing a problem.

No, your problem seems to be in the tables. You may need to go back and have a look at what you changed. you may have corrupted something.

WAIT WAIT WAIT! I know how you might be able to get around this. Use the older GFX bypass, and then copy the MAp16 tiles youneed to a page other than 0, 1, or 2. Then., change the tileset and try that.

...Have you checked the level header? Maybe the level is set to be a water level. Or, that could be set by the Level entrance setting.

If you've played the original SMW, then have alook at some of the Layer one tiles. Do you notice that some of the paths mario can walk are not there? Those are default paths, because they are harcoded because otherwise they would have been impossible.
