Kyouji is right. check your sprite memory indexes, and maybe try a different one. (index 0 is my favorite because I never run out) Also, how big are your sprites 16x16 wise? | |||

Many of the addresses are various things, some are only data information, and some are layer-1 only levels. that is the drawback of opening with level addresses. | |||

SH is right, saving directly to a level address has a good chance of corrupting your ROM. You should just use the regular save to ROM to be sure. | |||

No, I am using only custom blocks with the sprite as an "overlord" to control various parts of the level (modifying it via sensitive custom blocks that react only to this sprtie) The only interactions the sprite will have will be with objects (custom blocks) and a couple palette entries. The only things I would need help with are; 1. Sprite generation/killing, and 2. Sprite X/Y pos editing (to allow the sprite to interact with the custom blocks at only certain times). If you could help with those I would be very thankful. |

Hey! Does the "Sensitive Block" coded by bouche (smb3.bin) that breaks when mario touches it turn into the next block in the MAP16, or into a different tile? any help would be greatly appreciated because it doesn't say in blocktool itself. |

OK, so then I couldn't use it. I'll need to find another or modify the file(which I will not be able to do) because I need i to turn into the next block in the MAP16, so does anyone know where i can find one that doesn't use the "Map16++" code? No your tool is going to be very important! Please keep working on it. Now, when you guys vote Sprites, I think you misunderstand me. By sprites I mean NOT sprite edits, but that sprites are placed intelligenly in a level. |

How do the sprite react with normal Layer 1 water? also, have you used SMWMTE? the older version of that was found to screw up the tides data instead of the Misc. text. |
