You got one thing wrong: The Batterylife of the PSP for Games is not confirmed, it seems to be between 2 and 10 hours. (10 hours is for mp3 listening only, and thats cheap).

And what did someone once say: If Nintendo would biuld labtops and notebooks, they would be small as a papersheet and akku lasts for 10 hours and optimized what it is intended to do: Work.

Back to the topic at hand: I would like to see the PSP flop. 'cause it would teach Sony a lesson that to engage in the handheld market, you need battery-life and good games. (Neo Geo Pocket anyone? Some good games (Metal Slug, Sonic, KOF, Puzzle Bobble) and an insane Battery-life (about 40 hours).

Posted on 07-11-04 11:37 PM, in If you could remake any game... Link
Games I would like to se remade:

Segagaga
Or at least a Game where you have to take over the Video Game Market, with all the humor and puns and parodies of allmost every console and accesoir and everything. Fully 3D and 2D, like Segagaga was. With tons of Pictures, Movies and good actors / voices.

Super Mario Bros. 3
With allnew sprites (Still blocky game), 30fps in every animation, tons of more levels, all Items from all Mario Games, bonus sprite-movies and a real good Intromovie showing how the mushroom kingdom was really conquered.
All new and gread sound, and effects, trow in some ideas from DDs hacks, like shops, animation, weather and seasson, wich affect gameplay.
This game would be NOT 3D. But on a Handheld OR Homeconsole.

Kid Icarus
Like stated above.

Balloon Fight
Just THINK of the things you could do with that basic gameplay on a sprite-based game. And of course Multiplayer and INternetplay.

Famicom Tantei Club
Remade with acctual anime-sequencies and everything is voiced with good actors. (Englsih Subtitles) and orchestrated sound.

Stunt Race FX
3D Funracer with all new and old tracks, the old vehicles and some new, all look like the cars on the pakage.

Mach Rider
3D Racer, with speed and multiplayer.

Nintendo World Cup VS. Sega Soccer Slam
Kunio is back, with all his friends and baddies, playing soccer. It's like Sega Soccer Slam, only with more players in each team, Inet-Play, and the insanity of both, NWC and SSS. (Incl. the comentator, add one more to interact with each other, deactivable of course.)

"The Old Nintendo-Feel" is when you feel like you see a 'new Nintendo Title as in the late 80s early 90s.

I do not really mind that much, since I probably sill not be throwing out my SP or GBA Player anytime soon..... Then again, i dont know anyone who carries around 2 handheld systems.

No you know one.

And the 'compatibility issue' with the PS1 and PS2 Controller, and sp. with the Memorycards is only a moneymaking sheme.

It's like I can't use my old Disk on the new computer anymore. (Be it Cd, Zip or just play 3.5").

If combatibility and speed is importand, nothing beats a No$ product. And the Linking is on only one PC.

So, gonna try the DOS-Version now, see it if works on my old Pentium.

@Ranko: Yep, Win98 in Dos-Mode. Runs Good, but only games up to 1 Meg, but he may updates the DOS-Version when you tell him you're interessted. (I sure did).

And I may have to tell that it run in monochrome, it just looks weird in 15bit or 8bit color (screen doesn't desplay anything but some weird lines, don't think it'll do the graphicscard and the monitor any good).

@Coby: I mailed him about the SMA4 incompatibility, he may fixes flash savetype or something. (No$GBA only saves the eeproms and save types).

Kuru Kuru Kururin and it's succesor Kururin Paradise.

Kuru Kuru Kururin saw a European release, but not the second game.

Basicly, you controll a rotating stick trough mazes and avoid hitting / touching the walls.

Spike that with good sound, nice graphics and in part 2 with more mazes and fun minigames.

I played both games for hours.

Fusoya or someone else should crop Super Demo World TLC down to 1 or 2 Megs, instead of 6 (most is empty or nothing).

I would like to have a PAL-Cartridge of it.

For your complete SPCness browser over to SNESMusic.

For Sids search for the High Voltage Sid Collection (HVSD), for NSF as above stated, there's also a collection aviable with many rips and correctly named and sorted.

For GBS (Game Boy Sound) I only know of Zophar. At the rippers out there: I really want the Soundtrack of Donkey Kong (GB).

For instance, if I go a bit to the east or to the north, I need to switch out of the local dialect, and into "standard" German (most Germans and can't understand the Swiss dialect at all). Going west though, I just slightly change my accent to adapt to the dialects over there... until I go far enough west, and I have to switch to French (which I don't like, but it's not like I have a choice in some parts of this country ).

Good thing I imported SMA4 form Japan, bad that e-cards are spare in europe. And expensive.

And I can't save the Savefile on my Cartridge, only read it. (Thats why Bouche's Savefile has my Highscore and the ability to pick leaves in the levels.)
