| I'm actually posting something here at Acmlm's. Amazing, isn't it? Anyway, I made a new layout last night. I was tired so I didn't work on it too long. It's pretty basic and I guess a warm-up to tone my skills. I hadn't coded anything in ages so it took me a minute to remember how. After that it was extremely simple. Anyway, what are everyone's opinions on the layout? I'll be making another one in the very near future, I'd just like to know how this one looks :/ |

| Thanks. I'm using 800x600 and it looks fine. It's maybe 5 pixels short, if that. Odd that it's different for you. *shrugs* must be because I'm using IE. I'm glad you like it. I realize it's a little small, the next one's going to be a lot more intense. |

| Chair Tackle - Featuring Vyper Yeah, umm, that's what I do when school gets cancelled. Amazing, huh? Next up is getting slapped in the face with a shoe... Shoe Face v.2 - Featuring Wyatt Wyatt is a youngin' of 10 years that I kinda mentor, and I paid him $2 to do a stunt of my choosing. We got him to agree to be slapped in the face with a shoe. These are the results... More to come! PS: You'll also need the latest version of WMP and it's codecs to view the video. They were made in Windows Movie Maker, so yeah.... | My graphics designer just whipped this one up for me and we coded it. It does NOT scroll, as I've got complaints of my previous layout. The only problem that I'm aware of currently is stretching with images.... I'll just have to remember that next time I think of posting one  So... yeah, watcha guys think? |

Stupid FireFox  It doesn't want to recognize the CSS for the sidebar. If you take a quick detour in IE you'll see that it is semi-transparant and that it's got Sephiroth in the background. Also, do you have your monitor on low color settings? I can see the text perfectly. Oh well... Dylan, how doesn't it tile properly? |

| Bleh, that's Photoshop's wand tool for you. Try selecting the character images themselves and contracting by a pixel. Should remove the thin white border around the character. Other than that, it's great. I really don't think it's too big. Looks like it would work for me... |

| Final Fantasy Fire - Anniversary 2.0 Final Fantasy Fire - Version Fire Final Fantasy Fire - Ignite Your World Well, since tomorrow marks the second anniversary of my site, I thought we should come up with a new layout. WhiteMist, my graphics designer, made this over the last two weeks or so. My question is, what do you think of it? Oh, and the last choice was just added for fun Personally, it's my favorite. I just like the overall theme and color scheme. It all fits so well. The animated banner is really nice, too. It just feels..... good. I'll lighten up the text, too. With a high-depth monitor it's pretty easy to see, but I'll still lighten it up. As for the buttons and such, I'll talk to him on that as well. | We have plenty of content, Taryn! Check out the FF7 content, it's pretty much all done (except for a beastiary, that's our next project). Plus Tactics info and Xenogears info are in the process of being completed. You should check more often Ok, the text has been lightened, but arn't you guys gonna vote? UPDATE: The feature buttons (music, videos, images) have been made greener, as well as the apply buttons. The animation has been removed from the banner, greatly reducing its size (down to about 65k). The text has also been lightened up. Hope that helps, Jizzy! EDIT: GODDAMN I FUCKING HATE TYPOS! | Hmm, do you have low color depth on your monitor, Jizuko? What I'm looking at on the screen right now is a pretty light grey for the text. Almost the same as the links (which are #888888). As for the other comment on the apply buttons, he's changing them now. He's chosen to use different characters for each one. Pretty cool, actually He's going to darken them as well.I really appreciate your constructive critisizm. It definitely helps in the end Oh, and the buttons are fixed, try clearing your cache and refreshing. |
