I'm looking for a concept to make an online RPG around. I thought 'bout ninja pirates, but want to see some other options. Had one already... sheep, but try to work that one out |
 Anyways, I'm trying to make an online RPG to practice my php-skills, but want it to be good too, so that I don't have to change the whole setting halfway through making it. Oh, and nothing like those annoying links from that infernal Kings of Chaos

Nah, nothing space-like or fantasy-like. I'm tired out of my pants of all those technical, hoitytoity suckers that spend more time in showing what they can think of than in making a decent story or having the whole world look natural. Compare Star Trek to Cowboy Bebop and you'll understand. |
The RPG'll eventually have a bit of a story, but it's first priority is to have a setting in which I can toy around with php, honing (Mmmm... honey) my skills while not having Yet Another Online RPG, but having something that's not done yet, something that'd keep people interested.

Totally Spies XD Always wondered wether it is anime or not. I really enjoy watching it. It's so moronic I believe the makers themselves didn't take it serious and overdid alot of things so that they become hilarious. Only problem with it is that you can't watch the same episode twice. It sucks the second time. |

Now then, back on topic. Only part in a religion that's important to me is their moral value. Wether the upper being they mention really exists or not doesn't matter. Their books are stories like The Lord of the Rings. They're just stories, meant to set an example. Going to church every sunday or praying while viewing towards Mekka five times a day doesn't make you a good person. All religions state that you still go their version of hell if you keep to those expressions of your believe but throw away the morals they hand over. So, discard all dogma's, stories, rituals and political influences and what rests? Exactly the same thing for each mayor religion. This makes me neither prefer or hate one religion more than another, since the only part I find important in a religion is the same in each. (restricted) |

| Exactly the same here, neither Oldbie, Newbie or Midbie. Heck, I don't like the bie at the end of it anyways. I've been here for over a year and don't really care 'bout being concidered new or not. Most important thing is that people'll understand when to take me serious and when not. The same counts for all those people concidered oldbies as well as for those who've just made their first post.

My signature... a pirate and a ninja, fighting... not much of a story to it either. I love ninja and I love pirates. And I'm nuts 'bout Ninja-Pirates (but damn Weebl seems to have had the idea before me, those bastards. I'll slash their throats for that insolence!) Let's see... I fell on my head as a two-year old and still have a scar from the stitches, I've had breathing difficulties until I was 7 and those things can hurt from time to time too, I've had 3th degree burning wounds all over my left leg when I was 10, got hit with several things, got three trees ('bout 10 metres, with a diameter of 30cm) hit my neck and shoulders, broke my ankle once, jumped with my head against a wall, hit walls bareknuckled, had tons and tons of blisters, got a wrath frozen as a kid, had my brothers try to break my arms once, have been so cold my feet were swollen and didn't fit in my shoes anymore, did PE at a 7th and 8th hour of classes with 43 |

Smoked, then backed salted bacon on a sandwich with some lettuce, tomatoes and mayonaise... maybe a few eggs. Can't get any better than that, unless you eat two of them. |

I've been wondering 'bout this alot lately... when is a boy concidered a man and a girl a woman? Officially, they're adults at 18 or 21, depending on the region they live, but that doesn't make them a man or a woman yet. Being an adult in the form of being responsible and senseful still doesn't makes a boy a man or a girl a woman, since an 8-year old can be responsible and senseful enough to be concidered adult, but he stays a boy. Any ideas that might help me out on this one? Oh, and as the title stated: Leave the crap out. I don't want senseful posts drowned by almost-spam, almost-flames and other crap that some of you usually post. |

Living on your own... then you haven't heard those guys upstairs. They live on their own too, but they're the biggest kids I've ever met, always yelling at each other for the dumbest reason, playing soccer on the stairs, throwing butter and ketchup to each other, constantly shooting plastic bullets with a bb-gun and things like that. |
About that legal age... I've said before I don't mean that. It has to do with responsibility indeed, but that doesn't come around a certain age. Maybe it's when they think things through, know when to be serious and when they can toy around and take others into conciderations. Maybe it's when they're completely independant, being able to take care for themselves completely. Maybe it's when they've done big deeds or are capable of them and not slacking off from that. Maybe it's somebody who lives to the fullest. I really dunno, but it certainly has nothing to do with which agegroup you're in. Some people never become more than a big kid or keep a "Big Boy"-attitude - of which the name itself already says he or she's nothing more than a boy or a girl, not a man or a woman - , no matter if they're four, fourty four or ninety four years old.
