| Hey all, I been workin on a Megaman 3 hack and stumbled on this site (which has helped a boat load). Currently I have all but 2 of the Robot Masters changes and I'm working on the levels. But one thing I can't seem to find is really bothering me. I have found the names and text in Hex for the game but can't seem to find the weapon initals. I have the weapon names changed (For example, instead of Snake Search I have Gizmo Toy) but when I switch to that weapon it has the "SS" beside it for Snake Search. (I'd like it to say "GT" or "GZ" ) I experimented with changing the initails by change all of the 'RM' text to 'ZZ' (RM is Rush Marine in the weapon select) but Rush Marine still stayed RM. I'm not even sure if this text can be changed as it isn't in the character graphics, but in the background graphics. Any help would be cool.
