Sorry this post is kind of off-topic, but this is how I feel. As much as every person I know hates their teachers, it is a blatant outrage that the men and women that educate the future leaders of our world are paid as though they're convenient store clerks. |

Just remember, it could always be worse. At my school, they shut down the google image search. After that, we just started doing it in japanese, and even korean. To date, every available language of google image search is banned on the computers. I was so happy when I figured out how to do it in yiddish. Now it's banned too...[google.com/intl/yi] |

I have to agree with a few of the people that have spoken. I'm all about Jesus, and I'm a die-hard Christian. If this guy feels that naming himself Jesus Christ, then I guess that's between him and God. As for me, I wouldn't take the Creator of heaven and earth's name as my own. |

It's rather genius, actually. It's like how if they built a Wal-Mart in China, then it would sell primarily things that Chinese people would like to buy. If they built another Wal-Mart here in the U.S. that only sold polish sausage, then not many people would go there. |

Actually, I read this in my Psychology book last semester. There are certain cultural differences. In America, if the student isn't doing well then it is the schools' fault and only going to a better school can fix it. In other countries such as Japan, if a student isn't doing well then it's the students fault. No matter how bad the school is, the student simply isn't trying hard enough. Therefore, when people from these countries come here, they study their asses off because they think that you aren't just born being smart. You have to work for it. |
