| Miles: *looking up at several monitors* "Violet, take a look at this, it doesn't seem right. Anya's heart rate, its going up way too fast." Violet: "...odd...sis is usually sleeping. Could be something up in the Dream Plain?" Miles: "I know she said for us never to look, but I think we should." Kyle: *enters* "Maybe she's dreaming of me." *winks* Violet: "Get over yourself." *looks at Miles* "Do it. Put the blame on me if you want to." Kyle: *sits* "Should I get the popcorn?" Miles puts in a bunch of codes and passwords into the computer. This computer is linked to everyone. Their stats can be showed, powers, weakness and so on. The Dream Plain is where dreams come from. Be it fake dreams, or visions of the past. It is a very vurnable state, for if the wrong person taps into someone while in this state.... The screen turns on.....and Anya is in the middle of a dream... Anya: "...you're bullshitting me, and I know it." ???: My dear, I am not. The true test, the true horror of it all, will soon come to pass. The scrolls mention it and you know deep down that I am right." Anya rushes towards this person and get smacked right to the ground. ???: "Fool...not even you can stop this from happening..." Anya: "No, I don't believe you!" ??? "Funny...you should practice what you preach." With a wave of ???'s hand, Anya is floating off the ground and it seems that Anya is about to be snapped in two by an unknown force. Kyle: *sits up* "Is that......" Miles: "No..." Kyle: "We killed her!! Twice!" Violet: "You mean to say that's......" Kyle: "....Anya's birth mother from long ago...." Miles: "................Ozma!" They rush towards Anya's room.... ...the castle is almost empty on this day, since the orginals have moved on. They left this world to be fully human..so the amount of people to fight in this war, are few. ((see post in A&C's, the SF one)) They reach the room, and Anya is on the floor, blood coming out of her ears and nose.... Kyle: *kneels down* "Miles, get Russell!" Miles: ".....he's back on Vid..." Kyle: ".....get some healing potions then!" Voilet: "Right....if we have any left...." *rushes out* Kyle: "Do we have ANY white mages or healers left?!" Miles: "....." They both look at Colleen. Colleen sees that Anya's room is unlocked and that Kyle and Miles are standing over a fallen Anya as Violet rushes out. ...What happened? Anya? Colleen runs over and sees that Anya is badly hurt. What are you guys doing just standing here, SHE'S HURT! Crap... damn, I'll go call 911 or something... ... What are you guys doing staring at me like that? ANYA'S HURT! Kyle: "We are 911...." *looks at Miles* "......The Cleric.....healers in a way, right?" Miles: "I think so, but I don't think it'll work." Kyle: "We have to try...." The... Cleric? Colleen knows about Clerics. Well, it's pretty safe to say that he definitely knows what one is. Great idea! Cleric... Cleric... Quick, tell me where he is and I'll go find him and bring him here! ~~ CRACK! Anya's body is getting worse, within her mind and her physical form. She's trying to fight off Ozma, but it is not working. Ozma: "Do you surrender, yet, child? Because....." *trails off* ~~ Kyle: "...you're the cleric..." ..... Colleen stares at Kyle as if he's crazy. What do you mean? All I have is a silly little avatar on the Internet, I'm not really a freaking... Colleen attempts to calm down. All right. Look, we're all standing around here and Anya's in bad shape, so... I know CPR and a few other things. Do you want me to do that? Just tell me what to do! Miles: "He doesn't know, does he?" Kyle: "...its only been one night, doubt Anya told them.....alright, Colleen, was it, heal her...try, at least..." But... but... Miles and Kyle stare at Colleen. ...All right. I presume someone's already run off to get some help... Colleen puts his hands on Anya. Come on Anya, you can pull through this... Don't give up! KEEP FIGHTING! Colleen then says the only word that's running through his mind since it was mentioned. HEAL! Kyle: "Was that...you see, I told you." Miles: "But she hasn't gotten up yet...." Without knowing why, Colleen continues to hold his hands against Anya's chest and closes his eyes. He presses harder as his hands begin to shake and sweat starts to form on his forehead. ((Hey, you know that short story I wrote, its kinda after this. )) A bright light begins to shine over Anya. Anya: *coughs* "Do you mind getting your hands off of my chest!?!" ((Oh my. )) AAAH! Colleen snaps out of his trance and recoils back, not believing what just happened. Um... ah... Anya! You... you woke up! We thought you... were... having a bad dream and fell out of bed! Yeah... Colleen is sweating profusely. Hiryuu: "Hey guys what did I mi..." Hiryuu notes that Colleen has his hands on Anya's chest... Hiryuu: "...uhm...gee Colleen you're as big a perv as I thought you were...now I have living proof." Anya: *coughs* "....fell...out of my bed....?...the hell?" Kyle: "What happened?" *helps Anya up* Anya: "We need to...talk..." *gasping, since she is still weak* Hiryuu notes that Anya's breathing heavy... Hiryuu: "Shit...what happened to you? You look like you've been run over by a truck." ~Why am I always the last to know about these things?~ Hiryuu felt like a complete idiot now...apparently this wasn't the time to be dissing Colleen even though he completely set himself up for it. Colleen glares at Hiryuu. I'm just... um... Colleen stares at Anya then back at Hiryuu, then decides to keep his cards close to his chest. ...happy to see Anya snapped out of that. Thank god... Colleen helps Anya into her bed. Hiryuu whispered to Colleen... Hiryuu: "Now is not the time to be a perv Colleen..." Hiryuu walked with the rest of them to get Anya situated...what a morning this was already turning out to be... Anya: "Thanks" *sighs* "Can I be alone for a minute?" ~We need to talk, now.~ Kyle: ~Who was it?~ Anya: ~Ozma is back.~ Kyle: ~But how?~ Anya: ~Different lifeline, it could happen. I mean, explain most of the people here. Heh...I'm actually the oldest, but go by Earth time, and I'm one of the youngest.~ Kyle: ~Yea...~ Incoming call: ((For those who do not remember, think Metal Gear. But its a small device thats inside the right temple.)) Miles: "What do you want me to do with the newbies? Send them back?" Anya: "Not yet. But if anything else strange happens, let me know right away. I'll be out in a minute." End transmission. Hiryuu couldn't imagine that this was just a little off... Hiryuu: "Yea...I'll just...leave her alone." It was just great being left out of the conversation... Walking around the place made him feel like he'd seen the place before somewhere though...and not just because he wrote about them constantly... ...then when Je...Anya decided to switch over so fast and how she adapted to this world so quickly...was she just playing around with us the entire time? What was the reason they were here anyways... ...Hiryuu figured he might as well work some of it off...but there wasn't any real way to do anything of the sort...so he ended up punching a wall every so often in thought... ...then he slowly realized something...that should've hurt. He took a look at his hand...just fine...the wall...well it wasn't but he was damn amazed for sure... Hiryuu: "...Well this is just getting odd to say the least." Anya: *while getting dressed* "....and then she said something about the Time Devourer. That he could end it all. That he could bring death." Kyle: "But why would she attack you mentally just to tell you that?" Anya: "Maybe because I had forgotten. That little extra jolt woke the rest of me up." *pause* "I'm not sure if the others should know about it." ~~ Miles walks past Hiryuu and without even looking at him, "Don't punch the walls please, they've taken enough damage over time." Hiryuu just blinked in response... Hiryuu: "Tch...whatever..." He just turned around and walked off. The wall had a few extra indents in it now that it didn't have before. It really wasn't intentional just got a little bit carried away... He was walking past someone when he heard... ???: "One of her helpers? Eh...we'll see about that..." Hiryuu turned... Hiryuu: "What are you tal..." Hiryuu trailed off as he got punched across the face and instantly was knocked out... ???: "One hit and he's down...how pathetic...she'd best gets some decent bodyguards on her side before it's all said and done...hmm..." ...looking at Hiryuu for a second... ???: "Now how to punish this one...ah yes...for someone like him this would be the ultimate punishment...hahaha..." The unknown person picked up Hiryuu...and teleported out of the castle... Miles, who was around the corner, had gotten a feeling that something was wrong. He rushes to the main computer room.... ~~ Anya: *pause* Did you hear that?" Kyle: "No." Anya rushes to the door and opens it, but nothing there. She looks to her left and right, but nothing. ~~ Miles: "Q!!! Can you hear me?" Zar-Q was at the main base. Zar-Q: "I see it. Whatever it is, we need to figure it out and fast. And we've been getting reports and sightings of Raven." Miles: "Her uncle. Great, she isn't going to like this. I'll try to run some scans to find out what this new disturbance is. My guess, its Ozma again." Zar-Q: "I've heard stories about her. Never thought she would actually return." Meanwhile, while all this is going on, Colleen is still standing in Anya's room looking blankly at the wall and thinking to himself. He's so out of it that he didn't hear a single bit of Anya's conversation. That didn't happen, that didn't happen, that didn't happen... Argh, who am I kidding? Only myself. I can't talk about this to Anya right now... Either she won't believe me or I'll be in a mess. I have to talk to Hiryuu about it. Right now. |

| Colleen opens the door and darts his head up and down the hall but doesn't see Hiryuu anywhere. ...Hiryuu? Hiryuu... Colleen walks back to Hiryuu's room and checks inside, but he's nowhere to be found. This is strange... I don't think he'd be foolish enough to wander around this place at a moment like this. (Hahahahahaha...) Hiryuu awoke with a start... Hiryuu: ~Man...that was a really freaky dream...~ Hiryuu was drenched in sweat...and was having some trouble seeing...then it hit him and he put a hand to his face... Hiryuu: ~Oh yea...some idiot punched me in the face...damn...~ He felt disoriented somehow...probably the blow to the face...it stung like hell... Hiryuu went to the restroom on the other side of the room and checked it out...it was red and we was having trouble seeing... ...but something wasn't right. Looking in the mirror he swore he had some sort of odd color in it...blood? He put a hand to his head and put it in front of his face...nothing... ...it didn't take much longer after that. Hiryuu: ~What the...am I still sleeping or something?~ Hiryuu seemed to have red highlights in his hair now... Hiryuu: ~...oy...been staying up too late...I'm in bed...~ Hiryuu went to go lie down and dropped on the bed face first...but there was something catching his chest... Hiryuu: ~Ow...what the...?~ There was some sort of cushion in the way of the bed... Hiryuu: ~...oh...my...god.~ "Uh..uhm" Hiryuu put a hand up to his throat...the voice was off too... He just looked on and started sweating profusely...this was obviously a really bad joke. That or he was still dreaming...that had to be it...right? Hiryuu: "No...way..." ...he was now girl-type. ...at that moment...there was silence... ...several moments later...an earth-shattering high-pitched scream was heard throughout the castle... Colleen had just gone back to his room to try take a nap when he heard an ear-piercing scream from Hiryuu's room. AAAAH! Colleen promptly falls off his bed. What the hell... ? Colleen walks to Hiryuu's room and carefully knocks on the door. Hiryuu? You're back in your room? Silence. What's going on in there? Was that you screaming or did you... Oooooh. More silence. Did Hiryuu go and pick up a chick in the castle? Silencia. ...Hiryuu, open the door. I'm not going to rat on you. Hiryuu: ~oh god oh god oh god oh god oh god oh god oh god oh god oh god oh god oh god oh god oh god oh god oh god oh god oh god oh god oh god oh god oh god oh god...~ Hiryuu could only think one thing at this point..."Do the words 'complete pandemonium' strike the terror in your heart?' " ...that's when he heard the knock and Colleen... Hiryuu: "...oh dear god...how am I gonna explain...this has got to be...there is no way...why the hell am I like...who the fuck am I talking to...holy shit holy shit holy shit holy shit..." Hiryuu was about a stone's throw from complete panic now... Hiryuu: "What do I do now?" Hiryuu was caught between a rock and a hard place...he...she...whoever didn't have a clue what was going on... Colleen knocks on the door again. Hiryuu, come on! Someone can only stand in front of the door for so long until they get really annoyed... Pas de bruit. ...You sure you're all right in there? ... ...Geez. I'll just wait for someone to come along to open it then. Hope you're happy. Colleen puts his ear up to the door. Hiryuu: "Uhm...uh...c..c..." Hiryuu figured h..she might as well deny that she was him...it was her best hope... Hiryuu opened the door... Hiryuu: "Uh...h...hel...lo?" Gah! Colleen jumps back since he was trying to listen to what was going on inside. Oh... Erm... So you're the one Hiryuu took home, hm? I didn't think he'd be the type to go around doing that kind of stuff, you know. *winks* Colleen pokes his head into the room. ...But where's Hiryuu? Hiryuu: ~Why that little...~ Hiryuu restrained himself from beating the crap out of Colleen for a second and tried her best at the innocent look... Hiryuu: "U..uhm...yea he was here for a few minutes and then made some weird sound and it...uh...freaked me out hahaha...and then he went running uh...somewhere." You mean... I see. I didn't think he'd be the type to be easily scared unless... He didn't... you know... use... Colleen trails off then changes the subject. So who are you and where do you work here? I assume you do... In some... capacity. Hiryuu: ~Yea Colleen I used...ooooooo...~ She was getting red now...restrain restrain... Hiryuu: "U..uh..not exactly y-you see I just got here...uh...a few days ago...so I'm..n..not really familiar with everything here yet..." Hiryuu was thinking...name name...aw shit the name what to call himself now... Hiryuu: "...a-and I'm...uh..." ...well here goes. Hiryuu: "...Ra..." NO NOT THAT ONE!... Hiryuu: "Ra...in...Rain." ~Whew...thank you Sofie...thank you so very much...~ Oh... Rain. That's a rather interesting name. Colleen thinks, "Then again, everything about this place is interesting." Well... Rain... Colleen looks for a moment and mentally slaps himself. ...If you see Hiryuu around tell him that I'm looking for him and that I'm very... er... happy for him. Yeah. I'll just go... back... to bed and you can do... what you were doing. Colleen tiptoes off then runs back to his room and hits the sack. Rain: "Uh...hahah...r-right..." Rain closed the door... Rain: ~OOOOOOOOO...Remind me to kill him later...SHEESH!~ Rain looked at herself...this just...wasn't right... ...she went in front of a mirror to take a look at herself one more time... It looked like she had dropped a few inches...probably around 5'9"...hair was still around the same length...if not a little bit closer to shoulder length...more of a curvy figure it looked like...what the...eyeshadow? geez... Rain: "Uh...oh..." Rain looked down at the chest area...it was sticking out there...no bra on...oh geez...then something occured to her... Rain: "I'm impressed...he didn't stare or anything...guess he's not as big a perv as I thought." Rain was totally lost...how was she going to let them know where he really was...he had no idea why he looked like this to begin with...but he was in too deep now to go out of it... Rain: "Somewhere...there's got to be someone telling me this will all turn out...ok...right?" Nothing but silence... Rain: *sigh* She just dropped her head... Rain: "I figured...oh well...life's never easy...I guess...even moreso now..." ...and boy was it ever going to get difficult. ((Colleen, sleeping in the early afternoon?)) Anya: "Okay, now that was strange...." Kyle: "You mean thats something new here?" *laughs* Anya: "Riiight....so anyway, all we can do is wait, I guess. Miles and Zar-Q are trying to find information, so I guess..." *shrugs* Kyle: "So how was it this time around?" Anya: "....?" Kyle: "I mean earth side?" Anya: "Borning for the most part." Kyle: "Well that is a given" "Glad to have you back." Anya: "Thanks. Even though I think it was forced." Kyle: "But when isn't it? Seems like each time you take a leave, something happens that brings you back." Anya: "Which you don't mind anyway." "Why don't you go earth side more often?" Kyle: "Not my thing." Anya: "You know Stacie is there, right?" Kyle: "Not that she remembers anyway..." Anya: "...oh...sorry." *sighs* "I guess thats the problem with us, huh? We save the worlds time after time, yet no one knows who we are." *pause* "But..I really have to wonder...what the hell is Colleen and Hiryuu doing here?" Start Transmission: Zar-Q: |

| ...Look, let's go downstairs. We'll both go at the same time so that if something happens... well... Rain still has the blank look on her face. ...Ugh, women... Fine, I'll lead. Colleen grabs Rain by the hand and the two head downstairs. Rain was just totally lost...the stress was getting to her...all she knew was that she was being pulled along somewhere... Rain: ~What...Colleen?~ Rain just followed... Anya sits up and looks around. After a minute, she stands and heads back into the castle, through the giant hole. Her clothes are torn everywhere and she is covered with bruises. She stands there for a minute or two looking at her fallen friends. She then spots Colleen and a red head. She walks up to the red head, stares into her eyes and says, Anya: "Hiryuu, this is NOT the time to turn into a damn female!" She then walks off, slaming her fist into the walls and heads upstairs. What the hell are you talking about, Anya? Colleen watches as Anya storms upstairs. Eech... You'd think you'd know one of your own crew or something... Colleen surveys the carnage and the fallen bodies. What the... ah... ah... uh... Colleen promptly bends down on his knees and starts to vomit. Augh... this is... disgusting... Colleen wipes some vomit from his mouth, but he's visibly shaking and has turned quite pale. Rain: ~...how the hell did she...there's no way...~ Rain just watched her blankly...and tried her best not to sweatdrop... Rain: "U-uh...Hir...yuu? Who was she talking about? I don't know a Hiryuu..." She then noticed that Colleen isn't looking too good... Rain: "Uhm...are you OK?" Anya: ~Your eyes. Its not that hard to figure out that its you. Now GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!!~ Anya heads straight for the Training Room. ((think the danger room from X-Men or that place in Balamb Garden from FF8)) Wanting so badly to forget all those who died today and all that had happened and to get herself ready to head out to find out who is behind all of this. ~~ Kyle: *sighs* "Figures she would head off." *walks over to Colleen* "Come on man, put yourself together." ...No. Colleen is in sheer shock at the devastation in front of him. I... I can't look at this. Colleen turns away and does the only thing that comes to his mind... ... Colleen starts... sobbing? The tears from Colleen..are magical? They turn a shade of blue and the bodies of the fallen begin to glow aswell... Rain just looked at Colleen... Rain: "Hey hey..." Rain just put a hand on his back and crouched down to where he was semi-sobbing on the floor and spoke to him... Rain: "There wasn't anything you could've done...whoever did this will probably get what's coming to them...ok?" Rain got back up after that...she figured just leave him be for a moment... There were bodies strewn everywhere...she was amazed at the carnage...and amazed she wasn't part of the death toll... Rain: ~What a day indeed...~ The bodies start to fade now... Josh: "How...how is this possible?" *looks at Colleen* Colleen continues to cry, oblivious to everyone's shock and amazement. To him, nothing else is happening other than him sobbing away his fear. Rain turned to see if he would quit when he noticed that all of the bodies were starting to fade... Rain: "What in the..." Rain saw that there was some sort of light rising off of all of the bodies that he was near... Rain: "Holy..." Rain couldn't have been more right with that statement... Rain: "Uhm...hey...uh..." Rain got near Colleen again... Rain: ~How is he doing that...?~ Josh: "Mister, look, you're helping them pass on...." Kyle: *looks around* "Do we have everyone counted for? Where's that other guy that came with Colleen?" Rain was still out of it...she pulled away from Colleen...this was just too much...so she headed to the nearest working restroom really fast... Rain: "This is just...just too much..." Rain went up to the nearest sink and just flushed herself with hot water... Rain: "Oy...what a long..." That's when she noticed the voice...and looking up... Hiryuu: "What...the...?" He checked himself...hair...back to brown...chest...back to less than a cup size needed...and...well that was there...he didn't have to check. Hiryuu: "ALL RIGHT!...wait a minute...this looks verrry familiar..." He splashed himself with cold water real fast... Rain: "...I'll be fucking damned..." Splashed with hot... Hiryuu: "...Spring of Drowned Girl...but how? I mean that's just a freaking anime...there's nothing like that in real life..." Hiryuu just had a thought... Hiryuu: "Unless...all of the stories we think are just made up are actually real...or real dimensions or something..." That would explain how the hell he knew the techniques when he first got here...how he acquired so much strength...and why Colleen and Anya seemed to have the same now... Hiryuu: "...but why is this happening...they're just fiction right...not real...this can't be real. There's just no way...right?" Well whatever it is...being damned couldn't be more right...but at least he had a quick fix for the girl-type now... Hiryuu: "I'm just going to have to watch out for the cold water then...shouldn't be too difficult..." Hiryuu then exited and found where the other people were...Colleen was still out of it... ???: "I didn't ask to return, just to let you all know." Everyone turns around. ???: "But since you do need me now, I've decided to help." Kyle: "....." *blinks* "...Cel?" Celestria, the white mage, walks next to Colleen and sees the carnage. She begins to chant and the bodies vanish. ((FFX style )) ~~ Meanwhile, Anya was pushing herself too hard. Her injuries haven't healed yet, yet she didn't seem to care. Hiryuu walked behind Colleen... Hiryuu: "Geez...he's still crying?" Hiryuu knelt down next to Colleen... Hiryuu: "Hello...earth to Colleen...or wherever the hell we are..." Still nothing...which was when Hiryuu just decided to slap Colleen... Hiryuu: "Any better now?" Colleen immediately snaps out of his funk when slapped across the face and blankly stares at Hiryuu. Fine... I... HIRYUU! Where the hell were you, you missed... well... Colleen sees that not only are there no bodies lying around, but that Celestria is standing right next to him and that his hands are covered in... teardrops? They look different though... ...What the hell is going on? Hiryuu: "Uh...well I was around...I just...uh...got lost." Hiryuu had to remind himself to think up excuses...and better ones at that the next time that he ever went girl type or something... Hiryuu: "As for what happened around here...I have no idea...but you seem to be doing something about it...and I don't know how either." Kyle: ~Anya, knock it off.~ Anya: ~....~ Kyle: ~Cel is here, at least let her heal you.~ Anya: ~......!....fine.~ ~~ Josh: "I'm going to check up on Miles." *walks towards the computer room* Kyle: *walks over to Cel* "So how did you know?" Celestria: "Miles contacted me....while I was in school no less. Came as soon as I heard the news." Kyle: *looks at Colleen* "Good to see you back to normal." Erm... Yeah... I think I'm normal now. Colleen looks at his hands as the teardrops fade away. ...OK. I'm not going to panic... I'm not going to scream... I've been through more crap today than in my 20 years on this earth. Someone... calmly explain to me... what just happened. Hiryuu: "Well as far as I can tell...you did something akin to Yuna on FFX..." Hiryuu just looked around...he was pretty sure it was something like that... Hiryuu: "Except it had to do with you crying...I just have no idea why...but if it has anything to do with the face that you could *cough* heal Anya...then this is probably has something to do with it." I never played FFX... !!! Colleen glares at Hiryuu and whispers. How the HELL did you know about the healing? Hiryuu: "I watched you do it the entire time you damn perv. I pity you for not playing FFX then...because Anya would be pissed..." Hiryuu stopped for a second... Hiryuu: "Basically you can heal and you channel spirits in some way...but Anya would probably know more than I would in that aspect...but I don't know where the hell she is now..." Then Hiryuu had a thought...he remembered that he could hear thoughts...and he was pretty sure that he heard something akin to her screaming for pain... Hiryuu: "Great...one sec Colleen..." Hiryuu decided to make his merry exit and found Anya coming into the hallway... Hiryuu: "Ah good there you are...you mind telling Colleen what happened? He..." Hiryuu trailed off when she walked straight past him...obviously not in a good mood... Hiryuu: "Uh...hello?" ...and still she went. Hiryuu: "There is no way in hell I am going to die because of that woman...there's no way that I'm going to...we need more help than this or else I'm going to end up dying myself...but where in the hell would we find anyone that..." Heck, even after we got some more samples of the Cry'star, after we saved that Moon Princess, it still took us decades to get the fourmula right. And now we're back to square one. | Sofie closed her eyes again, and concentrated on a fading waterbubble. She opened her eyes again, and it was gone, as if it never had been there in the first place. She nodded to herself and smiled softly. "It seems I might be able to help you guys. But, with what exactly...?" Hiryuu: ~Whew...close one...~ Hiryuu recomposed himself... Hiryuu: "Well...remember when I said the story came to life...well so did the actual place...or else it was always an actual place I'm not really sure. Anyways...Crystaltina seems to be in some trouble at the moment...which is why I came here in the first place...didn't want to get Anya involved but then you weren't listening to me either... Anyways...that would be the request...to go with us...not sure exactly what will happen...and I'm not sure exactly how long it will take...but the more help we get the better and faster we can get this taken care of...I just don't want to get people involved though that might get hurt...I already know Anya's seen enough of that as is... ...so the decision is entirely up to you...all I'm saying is that we could use a hand..." Celestria: "Anya left to meet whats-his-name. On this floor, there is only one room and one door. She opens this door and inside, console games, huge TVs, arcade games, a bar..pretty much the gamers dream. Sofie frowns deeply and thinks for a while, then nods and smiles at both TJ and Anya. "I'll help you guys. I don't know if I'll be of any use, but it never hurts to try. Just give me a few minutes to get ready..." She walks into the next room and changes into some more, err, adventuring clothes, grabs something to drink and carefully takes off her pendant. "I have to let Adrian know I'm gone." After writing a smal note, she puts the pendant on top of it and closes her eyes for a while. "Take care hun..." The note: "Dear Adrian, TJ just showed up and asked me to help him. Anya came aswell, and it seems they might be in big trouble. I'm gonna go help them. Won't be back for a while. Anya decides to head to her room to change and then heads to the Training Room. Hiryuu was busy still going against things in the Danger Room as it was... Hiryuu was in the middle of three monsters...looked something like Goblins from Final Fantasy actually...and did a 360 slash to all of them...taking them all out instantly while they faded out... Hiryuu: "Whew...any more..." That's when a fireball going past him caught his attention after the MP3 player switched songs... Hiryuu: "Whoa what the hell was..." GYOUUUUUU!! Hiryuu: "Holy...hell..." MP3 Player: 128 kbps / 44 KHz : Trigun - No Beat Anya, wearing her normal fighting outfit, punshes her codes in and enters the room. She slowly walks in, not making a sound.... Hiryuu took a fire blast head on... Hiryuu: "D-damn...that hurt..." Hiryuu was down on the ground but got back up... GYOUUUUUUU!! Although going against a 10 foot dragon wasn't really in his to-do list today... Hiryuu: "Shit...so how are we going to take down a behemoth like you...that things pretty big..." I suppose that means Hiryuu and Anya are back from... ...wherever they were. Colleen leaves the game room and starts to roam the halls to either find Hiryuu and Anya or kill time before supper. ~Outgoing Call~ Anya: "Miles, feed me the usual." Miles: "What about dinner?" Anya: "We still have 15 minutes, right?" Anya runs towards the direction of the monster, flips high into the air, and while returning to the ground, upside down, she grabs two guns from her leg holsters, and fires at the dragon. The dragon hissed and dropped to the ground as the sword slash and gun fire pummeled it...eventually fading out... Hiryuu turned to Anya and pulled out his earplugs... Hiryuu: "Uh...hey...I was just bored...uhm...hehe." Anya then pulls out a dagger from her back and throws it towards Hiryuu. It passes inches from his face and hits the Anacondaur square in the eyes. Anya: "Dinner." *turns to leave* Hiryuu: "Uh...okay..." Hiryuu looked at the now dead dragon... Hiryuu: "Might be a while for me...okay?" Hiryuu turned to do another round of busting...he wasn't in the mood of eating just yet... Anya: *turns back around* "No, you don't understand...dinner." Hiryuu: "I'm well aware that it's din..." Hiryuu looked at Anya... Hiryuu: "Wait...you aren't by chance one of those people that HAS to eat at EVERY meal are you?" Anya: "Of course not." *sighs* "But since all of us here are never here at the same time, we always try to make dinner. Hiryuu followed Anya into the Game Room where Colleen was pretty much zoned and pigging out on chips... Hiryuu: "You got any ideas on getting his attention...might be harder than it usually is right now...I'm surprised there isn't a sports channel on T...oh wait it's on that one...nevermind..." Anya walks over to the master switch and turns it off. The entire room is now in darkness. Hiryuu looked at Sofie after she slammed into him...pretty much a dazed mess on the ground... Hiryuu: "Uh...yo...Earth or wherever the hell we are to Sofie...come in...helloooooo." *shakes for a second until she comes to* Hiryuu got back up... Hiryuu: "You OK? Gotta watch these floors I think...anyways...where did you head off to anyways?" Meanwhile Colleen and Anya are discussing supper as they walk down the hallway. ...God, Anya, I WAS NOT IN THERE THE WHOLE TIME! And won't you please tell me why you guys were gone? I was only in there for 2 or 3 hours... Colleen sees Hiryuu helping up a small girl but her back is facing him. ...Hitting on the women AGAIN, Hiryuu? | Victoria: "I've had enough. I'll catch you guys later. Victoria leaves, and minutes later, so does Zar-Q, and Miles. Hiryuu: "Well maybe she just needs some rest...god knows that she's not too good in the health department since she keeps passing out...but maybe it's because of the shock of the first day or something..." Hiryuu looked over at Sofie... Hiryuu: "Maybe we should put her to bed?" Colleen finally comes out of the bathroom looking very pale and tired. He walks by everyone and flops down in a seat at the table. I... will have... some bread and water... for supper please. Sofie shook her head, opened her eyes and started playing with the little braid next to her right ear. She always did that when feeling nervous. "...Sorry, I think I dozed off." Hiryuu: "OK Colleen...I dunno if we have bread..." *insert joke here* Hiryuu turned to Sofie... Hiryuu: "You gonna be okay? You feeling hungry right now or anything?" "...no." Sofie got up from the table and walked out. She went to the roofbalconything again, sighed and sat down on the ledge, dangling her legs over the edge. She softly hummed the song of prayer theme another odd little habbit when she tried to comfort herself. Hiryuu: "Uh..." Hiryuu watched as Sofie walked off... Hiryuu: "Was it something I said?" "No matter what'll happen, I'll pay a price for my skills. I always thought that, in my stories, people with special powers needed a downside along with it, to remind them that all power comes with a price. Queen Fietje would slowly die if she cast too much magic, and Rain goes into coma-like conditions when using up too much power too fast. She recharges in the "Spirit World", and then comes back, usually with more knowledge on how to use her powers, but unaware of the greater plot of the people who created her like this. Is someone controlling me here too...?" Sofie sighed again, laid her head in her lap after pulling her legs up and stayed like that for a long time, under the many shimmering stars. Hiryuu: "I'll be right back...Anya...take care of the whiny cleric...make sure he doesn't get too close to people with his hot-sauce breath too..." Hiryuu followed where Sofie was headed and made her way up to the top floor of the castle...where Sofie was... Hiryuu (a few feet behind Sofie) : "You know...heights really aren't my thing..." "... that's why I always keep my eyes closed when I'm high up." She slowly turned around and smiled lightly. "Sorry for giving you guys so much trouble." Hiryuu: "Naw that's okay...I probably shouldn't have gotten you involved..." Hiryuu sat down next to Sofie... Hiryuu: "I figure that maybe this is a lot on you...and in a short amount of time...I mean I come back from nowhere and ask you to do something beyond reality really..." Hiryuu looked down... Hiryuu: "I just hope you didn't feel forced to go along with us..." Josh: *coughs* Anya: "......." *looks at Colleen* Kyle: *ahem* Anya: *looks at Celestria* "I think they're cool." Josh: "So tomrrow is the funeral. And the next day..." Anya: "We find Ozma's new castle and blow the shit out of it." *bangs fist on the table* Kyle: "And what if Raven shows up again? Are you sure you're ready." Anya: *looks at Kyle* "You bet I am." Celestria: "Anya..." Anya: *puts her hand up* "We're going through with this, like it or not Cel. Alot of things have changed since you've been around." *pause* "If you will excuse me." *Anya walks out* "I always choose my own path. I always have. So don't feel guilty. I'm just afraid of what might happen. Do you know anything about my Rain character?" Sofie bit her lips hard, in order not to cry. Hiryuu: "......." Hiryuu had a feeling he knew where this was going... Hiryuu: "I don't like putting it this way...but...I just hope you don't think this is going to end up costing you your life for some reason..." Kyle follows Anya out of the dinning hall. Kyle: "Ready." Anya: "Yea, let me just get a few things. Is Josh in with us?" Josh: *walking behind them* "Yea. Miles is in the main computer room and Zar-Q is in Zerron. At least we have a few bases covered." After Anya gathers a few things, the three head to the teleportation room. Anya: "Cel is the only one that I know that knows Time Magic, so hopefully she won't find out until later. And by that time, she might not be able to located us." Josh: "And Miles has his orders to tell no one about our location." Kyle: "Why not just teleport yourself there, A?" Anya: "Easier to track. This way, I can make it look like we teleported to the beach or something...." Kyle: "...instead of this suicide mission?" Anya: "Hope you liked your last meal." Kyle: "Just wished I had dessert." Anya: *laughs* "Not if anyone is around. To put it short, if I use too much magic n a row, I go into something which resembles a coma. Wether the threat is removed or not, once I used up everything, I have to recharge in the "Spirit World". In Rain's case, she always comes back with more skills, and more stamina in the casting department. But, like you saw, two spells and I was out already. Not for long, but still..." Tears slowly ran down Sofie's dimly lit face, creating little wet spots on her clothes. "I don't want to die. Not in a stupid manner like going in a coma and getting slaughtered. I want to see Adrian again. I DON'T WANT TO DIE!" Hiryuu: "So basically you need to strengthen your spirit muscles so to speak if you're going to be in anything..." Hiryuuu had a feeling this could be a bad thing if they got attacked by something and she was left open for attacks... Hiryuu: "Okay...well just remember not to overdo it okay...you don't have to play the hero...I think Anya's taking the role of that...considering she's probably the one that knows the most about this whole mess..." Hiryuu idly poked the ground... Hiryuu: "So why did you come anyways?" "I had a gutt feeling I had to come. I even left Adrian in the dark. It's like when I know I'm really sick, I have the same feeling then. Plus, I felt strange all day, so I didn't go to Swedish class. And then you guys popped up. And, I kinda wanted to meet the real you..." She blushed lightly, dried off the tears and got up. "We should go inside." Anya punches in a code that will locate Ozma's base. She then enters a code that will appear after the three are gone. Kyle: "Glad to hear that you thought that was funny." Anya: "Just trying to keep the moral up, you know." The nine orbs begin to shine as the pillars start to glow....a portal slowly opens in the middle of the room. Anya can remember back to the days of Old Crystaltina, near the outskirts of Vane. The castle was under attack and Celestria had forced Anya into a portal. Many died that day.... She tries to shake the awful thoughts away. So many eons...so much pain... Josh: "So where are we headed?" Anya: "Looks like the 3rd moon...heh..so she's not that far away after all." *tightens her fists* Kyle: "Are we even going to bother to ask her what her plans are this time?" Anya: "No." Kyle: "Are you sure you can go through with this? I mean, we've been on missions before, but none, so.ummm...well...." Anya: "I'm fine with it." Colleen slowly finishes his meal, still in quite the state of agony. He notices that now he's the only person at the table, as Celestria seems to have walked off lost in thought. ...Great. Everyone leaves again... *sigh* Colleen turns around and sees Hiryuu and Sofie coming down the stairs. ...Anya seemed to wander off again, I don't know where she is. Everything OK? Anya: "No more death." *takes in a deep breath* ((Now playing, One Winged Angel)) The three finally walk through the portal and emerge on the other side. The moon is dark, old, and smells of evil and death. Ozma's castle can be seen in the background. But to reach it.... Within in seconds of their arrival, Orcs, Shadow Mages, ((think Kingdom Hearts)) and monsters alike, surround the group. Kyle: "There goes our surprise, huh?" Hiryuu: "Yea...everything's OK she just needed to get her mind off of a few things...long first day I think..." Hiryuu looked at Colleen... Hiryuu: "She's missing? Great...with the way she's been acting lately that's never a good sign." Kyle: "I hope no one regrets anything." Kyle takes out Odin and gets ready to fight. Anya: "......" Of course Anya does, but its a matter that she would rather not get into. Anya: "Alright, lets dance." Anya begins to run into the belly of the beast. Her right arm, is down to her side and her fingers begin to twitch. Then, something begins to shimmer...and the Crystal Swallow appears and she beings attacking the monsters. Josh jumps into the air and turns into his dragon form, flying ahead and killing off monsters with his powerful fire attack. Hiryuu came back downstairs to the group after searching the top floor for about fifteen minutes in search of Anya... Hiryuu: "Still nothing...and I'm not seeing anyone else around that Anya knows...so I'm going to assume they took off again somewhere without telling us..." Celestria walks behin Hiryuu, overhearing some of the convo. Celestria: "Whats going on here?" ~~ Anya jumps into the air and unto Josh's back. Anya: "I guess she really doesn't want us here." She then attacks magically, with a dozen Flare X spells. Hiryuu heard something behind him... Hiryuu: "Oh so there is someone here..." Hiryuu turned to see Celestria... Hiryuu: "Yea...we have no clue where Anya and Co. went...just wondering if they had a night out on the town or something before we get any more worried about them..." Anya never leaves Cel behind. Because she can actually save them with her powerful healing magic....but Anya didn't tell Cel. She didn't want many people to know about this mission... Celestria: "I don't think she would go out without letting anyone know." ~~ Kyle & Anya: "Cross Slash!!!" Anya jumps down from Josh, and Kyle and Anya both use their duel attack on a large Red Dragon. And it seems that Josh's magic is actually healing it. Anya: "We need to get inside that castle. We don't have the time to play around with these monsters!" Hiryuu: "Well I've checked upstairs and downstairs for about a half hour now...she's gone along with Josh and Kyle...at least that's what I've counted so far..." Celestria: "Great. Just great. ~~Incoming Call~~ Celestria: "Miles, where are they?" Miles: "Who?" *beep* Celestria: "Anya, Josh and Kyle. I know they're up to something, now where are they?" *beep* Miles: "I think they went to North Palm Tree. Celestria: "And why don't I believe you, Miles?" *beep* Celestria: "And whats that beeping noise?" Miles: "Umm..nothing..I have to go." ~~End Transmission~~ ~~Incoming call~~ Anya: "Miles, I need you to try to generate some more power for the main crystal. We're getting out arses kicked and we're not even in the castle yet. I swear, this feels like Lord of the Rings, here." Miles: "I'm trying to, A. It'll take me a few more minutes" *pause* "And they know that you're gone." Anya: "Do they know where we are?" Miles: "No." Anya: "Good. I'll report back to you later." ~~End Transmission~~ Meanwhile... Celestria: "Miles knows something, I know it." Hiryuu: "I haven't even seen him really...hmm..." Hiryuu didn't think about it but... Hiryuu: "She's gonna hate me for this..." Hiryuu closed his eyes for a moment to concentrate...and found something... Hiryuu: ~Hey...Anya...where the hell are you?~ Anya was on the top of the Red Dragon, trying to kill it. Then, the dragon moves rapidly and she hears Hiryuu's vocie. This makes her lose her concentration on the battle and falls to the ground. The foot of the dragon was about to smash Anya's head, but then Kyle runs over and grabs Anya, they both roll onto the ground, getting cuts from the hard surface. Anya: ~Damnit, I don't you not to do that when I'm fi....I mean.....what's up?~ Anya was out of breath and about to blow their cover..good thing she managed to catch herself in time. Kyle stands and throws Odin into the dragon's chest, and it falls over dead. Hiryuu: "Fi...oh shit." ~Fighting huh...okay so when did you guys take it upon yourselves to leave without telling us...I mean you left Cel here...what happens if you guys end up getting smashed in battle or something?~ Anya jumps into the air, does a flip and pulls out two guns. Anya: "Moonlight...." Before Anya could get the last part of that spell out, a large, almost invisable bridge appears. Connecting from their location to the castle...right up to the castle... Anya lands on this bridge, which is high above the monsters. Kyle and Josh join her and they look at each other and then to the castle. Anya: "Riiight..." ~Huh, we're not fighting. We're at the beach. Kyle has to pick up something and Josh and I wanted to help him out. I assure you, everything is okay.~ Hiryuu: ~Uhhuh...last time I checked screaming to yourself 'oh f*ck' when I got a hold of you didn't qualify as not fighting...where are you anyways?~ Anya: "Well...lets do this." Kyle: "Are you..." Anya: "Yes, for the last and final time, yes!" Kyle: *takes in a deep breath* Anya: ~I told you, the beach.~ ~~Incoming call~~ Anya: "Miles, we found this...hidden bridge to the castle. We're heading in." Miles: "Alright, I'm locked on your location. Stay safe guys." ~~End Transmission~~ Hiryuu: ~Last time I checked there was no beach around here Anya...or are you trying to tell me you're in Florida now.~ Hiryuu was getting ticked now... Hiryuu: ~WOULD YOU TELL ME WHERE THE HELL YOU ARE REALLY?~ Anya: ~And then I'll have it on my head if you die out here..no.~ Josh: "BOMB!!" A large cannon fires off a rather..large looking Bomb monster. ((think FF9)) Anya: "Shit..water spell...shit...ice..shit...damnit....ummm...duck!" ~~ Celestria breaks into the computer room and walks up to Miles. Celestria: "Tell me now, where are they?" Hiryuu: ~And there's going to be a lot more on my head if you end up dying out there and I can't do a damn thing about it...tell me where you're at NOW!~ Hiryuu wasn't going to take much more of this... The bomb files right over there..and then turns back around for another chance for a strike. Anya: ~You know any powerful ice or water attacks?!~ Hiryuu: ~I don't myself...most of my stuff is non-elemental...but Sofie should have a few of those...~ Anya really had some heavy shit on her hands right now. Josh, Kyle and herself are all powerful...but they don't have the spell that can take care of a Bomb of that size. She could open up a portal back to Crystaltina and then hopefully someone on that side will have a spell that could do the trick... Anya: "......" Kyle: "I don't think we can keep ducking like this..." Anya: "But if we attack it, it'll blow..." Colleen taps his feet and stares around for a few seconds. He then turns to Sofie. You see, if he's spent this much time talking to her about where she is... I don't think this can end well. That caught Hiryuu off guard for a second...Colleen shouldn't be able to know about the thought thing yet... Hiryuu: "Wha? How long was I out?" Actually that was a total guess, but I know how these things work Hiryuu. If you're lost in thought for a long time and you're swearing and look really pissed off at what you're seeing or hearing, then it's obvious that you were communicating with Anya in some fashion. ...At least it was obvious to me. Colleen checks his watch. 12 minutes, 32 seconds. "Are they okay? I have a really bad feeling about this..." Sofie shivered slightly, and folded her hands. It looked as if she was praying, even though this was a gesture out of nervosity, rather than a cry for help to an unexistant deity. Hiryuu: "That long huh...you actually counted seconds Colleen...sheesh..." Hiryuu looked at the two of them... Hiryuu: "She doesn't want to tell me...but she's fighting somewhere...I'm sure of it...hang on..." ~Anya...c'mon...tell us where you are so we can come help you...~ "Maybe they could use our help...?" Anya: "Damnit...why didn't I try to make my water spells stronger?!!" "Wait...I got it." Kyle: "HURRY UP!" Anya's right hand is on fire, the other, ice. The wind begins to pick up and the ground way below begins to shake. Josh: "ARE YOU NUTS!!! If you hit that thing with anything but the water spell, it'll blow." Anya: "I know what I'm doing....." *pause* "CATASTORPHE!" Anya fires off the water spell....then casts refect on herself...so the other three spells hit her and not the bomb. ~~Incoming Call~~ Anya: "Miles....open up a portal, NOW! To the pool." Miles: "Opening portal........done." ~~End Transmission~~ The water spell hits the Bomb, pushes it back into the portal and it falls into the indoor pool, back at Crystaltina. The three spells slam into Anya. Hiryuu was inbetween a really bad place right now... Hiryuu: "That's what I'm trying to tell her but she won't tell me where she is..." ~ANYA...NOW!!!~ The Bomb's impact caused the castle to shake a little... Anya sits straight up and, with rather large eyes ans her mouth opened wide... Anya: "Cool..it worked!" |

| Josh: "The crazy sibling, I swear!" Kyle: "I just can't believe it worked." But then...a dozen or so monsters enter the portal. ((The indoor pool is underground. There is a door in the living room that leads to it.)) Anya: "Shit! Miles, close the portal!!" *pause* "Aw crap..." Incoming Call Anya: "Close it!!" The portal closes..but not before the monsters make their way to the castle.. "Something bad is happening to us... I can feel something approaching." Sofie moves closer to Colleen and TJ, as to make sure they'll all deal in the bad, when and if it comes. Hiryuu broke off connection with Anya... Hiryuu: "Huh? What's wrong?" Hiryuu then heard something crash from far away... Hiryuu: "...okay that's not a good sign..." Anya: "Damnit. Damnit! Damnit!!!" Kyle: "Guess we're heading back." Anya: "No..we move....damnit!" The connection between her and Miles was never lost. "Miles, open that portal back up again and close it once we're on the other side. We're aborting the mission right now." Miles: "Got it." The portal opens and the three jump inside. Eep... Colleen gets closer to Hiryuu and Sofie. ...Maybe some dishes just fell. A lot of dishes. ...This isn't good at all. Hiryuu notices that now Sofie and Colleen are pretty much clinging to him now... Hiryuu: "So when did I become the baby sitter all of the sudden? I mean I'm younger than both of you...oh geez nevermind." Hiryuu knew it was something down stairs...and he was pretty sure...that he knew what was down there but couldn't put his finger on it... Hiryuu: "You guys might want to get ready for a longer night than I thought...it's coming from downstairs...you guys going to go with or should I go alone while you act scared?" "Colleen, what are your special abilities? I'm sort of a black mage, and I know TJ's monk-like, so we need a decent set up incase it weren't just dishes..." OK... Colleen counts in his head. Monk goes first since it's the most powerful. Then Black Mage since she can do damage. Finally White Mage because if something happens to me you're screwed. ...I'm sure it's nothing though. I hope. We can just follow from a distance. Hiryuu: "Okay...I'll take the lead then...you two just follow behind me...if we end up getting too far apart and there's something really bad down there...we don't want to be split up...so stick together ok?" Hiryuu made his way to the stairs... Hiryuu: "Well here goes nothing..." Celestria follows, well, because you always need a white/blue mage in any party..you know to heal. The three appear over the pool. Kyle falls in while Anya and Josh are flying. Anya: "Wings, you know, you can use 'em." Kyle: "SHUT UP!!!" Anya: "Hehe..." *looks around* "Ummm..I didn't know...crap...there's more than I thought...." Orcs, shadow monsters and a set of Ruby Dragons.. Sofie shivers, as she hears the sounds of odd things walking over broken glass, and it just feels like none of their energy waves is positive. She was becoming more and more like Rain. Silently, she prepared a tidal wave in her head, hoping at least something would be vulnerable to water. Eep... Colleen is taking up the lead here, looking quite scared. I'm sure it's nothing. It has to be. Anya: "Prelude to Battle!" Anya fires off a round of Fire Bullets. Anya: "Stop playing in the pool and help already!" Kyle: "You can joke at a time like this?" Anya: "Don't I always?" Hiryuu: "Yea...you might as well stay back just in case...just in case..." GRAAOW! That's when Hiryuu dropped down to the ground becuase his arm was in a large amount of pain... Hiryuu: "OOOWWWWW!" There was a very sharp toothed creature in front of him... Hiryuu: "Ow...ow...shit...shit." GAAAAAAH! Colleen looks at the monster standing in front of him. It takes every bit of his courage to make sure that he doesn't faint. Colleen positions himself behind Lain... Just to... protect her in case she falls. "AAAAAAAAH" Sofie threw her pretty big water spell into the rabble before her and her teammates, in hope of hurting something. "Does anyone know if these things are weak against a certain elemental property?" Kyle: "Guns? I mean, where is the glory in that?" *does a flip to get out of the pool* Anya: *shurgs* "Looks sexy." Kyle: "Anya?!" Anya: "Hehe..I love getting those reactions when I say something out of the norm." Josh: "I think the both of you talk to much...espcially in battle." *pause* "Rain Blade!" Beams falls from the sky, killing few of the monsters... Kyle: "Cross Lancer!" Kyle slices his way through the monsters. Anya: "Yea, but it keeps the spirit up." "Flare X!" Aah... Colleen slowly starts to back away. I'm... not... even sure... what that is. The monster roars. ...Don't... make... any... sudden movements. A lightbulb goes on in Colleen's head. Why not try to freeze it and incapacitate it? The water spell ended up with a large roar from the creature...it resembled that of a small dragon...but... Hiryuu: "Uh...guys..." Four more of these thing appeared behind the pillars a few feet away...and they didn't look like they were playing around either... ROOARR!! GROWW!! GROOAA!! Hiryuu: "Damn...this is going to be a bad night...ow..." Hiryuu looked at his left arm...there was a good amount of blood coming from the bite that he got from the monster... Hiryuu: "OK...Lain...water seems to work well on these things...I'll try spreading these things out...and you do the cleanup...Colleen...you just hope that you can figure out some protect or healing spells or something without getting yourself killed...we don't know if you can really help us or not yet...and I don't know what happened to Cel...so...we're on our own..." Hiryuu looked at the monster who was about ready to pounce again... Hiryuu: "Here goes...MOUKO TAKABISHA!!" Hiryuu plowed the monster with a MOUKO TAKABISHA blast...it sent it flying across the room and crashing into a wall...it wasn't anywhere near dead though...as it picked itself up moments later...and roaring in a very pissed way... "Good idea." Sofie closes her eyes for a split second. "Mizu, Kaze, ice attack!" A swirling stream of ice enveloppes the closest... thing and immobilises it, aswell as damaging it. Apparantly. Great... One down for the moment, four to go... Colleen tries not to be noticed by the monsters as he slowly inches his way towards Hiryuu. Celestria does a fast scan on the monsters..she's been behind them this whole time. Cel: "It depends on their weakness. Some are weak against fire, others water. Stay on your guard.." ~~ Kyle: "Executioner!" ((Lightning attack)) *pause* "Anya." Anya: "Talk about a work out." Kyle: "Hey Anya." Anya: "Hmmm..I wonder if everyone is okay." *looks up to the stairs* "The hell...." Kyle: "Anya!" Anya: "Now what are they doing up on the stairs. Don't they know its a 4 story drop?" Kyle: "ANYA!!!" Anya: "Huh?" *looks over as an Orc files above her head, killed by Josh* "What?!" Kyle: "The monsters...they're being killed, but not vanishing like normal." Anya: "....." "Celestria, which ones are weak against fire? I need to know where to aim..." Sofie calls up the earth, to block the monsters' path, and give them a few more planning minutes. Hiryuu heard Cel a ways off... Hiryuu: "So you're saying that some of these are going to get healed if we use the wrong element...well crap..." Another dragon made a jump for Hiryuu but he jumped up and did a kick to his back... ...and getting nowhere...it was pretty heavy... Hiryuu: "Oh great...it's not sounding good in the physical attack department eith..." That's all Hiryuu got out before a claw went down on him...rather forcefully and ended up knocking him into the pillar... Hiryuu: "...ow..." Anya: "...shit." Josh: "Don't tell me. I honestly don't want to know." Anya walks over to the fallen Orc..and its grabs her leg. Anya: "SHIT!! They're not dying!!!" "Well, I have another trick up my sleeve for things like these. They're evil, not even the protective anger of a wild animal is residing n them, so they're pure evil. Dark. Which means, they're weak for the opposite of shadow based spells, right? I only have one of those, but perhaps Colleen knows a holy based spell? Anyway, I need some time to concentrate and charge up. Please help me if they come to close to me..." Sofie closed her eyes, clasped her hands together and started charging up. After a few seconds, she emmited a soft white light. Anya: "Flare Kick!" The Orc gets knocked out. Anya: *waits* "But if we use their weakness on them...shouldn't they die....?" *looks down* "Maybe you were wrong Ky..." The Orc gets up once again. Anya: "Aw shit." *looks up and hopes that Cel can hear her* "Cel!! The monsters are not dying..is there a main weakness that they all share?" Celestria: "Miss Sofie is on to something, and I agree with her...we need highly powerful Holy Magic." Anya: "Well, I'm no use then." *mutters* "Thanks mom & dad..." H... Holy? Colleen has made his way over to Hiryuu who isn't in good shape at all. .....Let me just try this. Colleen puts his hands on Hiryuu and closes his eyes in an attempt to get him back in action. Kyle: "Well, you're still going to have to defend..." Anya: "THATS IT!!!" Kyle: "Nevermind..." Anya's wings appear and she files high up. She takes out her guns and is about to do a duel magic spell attack. Anya: "ANGEL WINGS! ANGEL REQUIEM! Bright blue beams shoot out from her wings and bullets, blessed with holy magic fire apon the enemies. Of course her Holy attacks are weak...but its still something... Anya: "A little help here, guys!!" Hiryuu rotated his arms after Colleen's heal...now he had a splitting headache to boot with the arm as well... Hiryuu: "I knew I should've just gone somewhere those few months ago...maybe I wouldn't be here right now..." Hiryuu got back up slowly... Hiryuu: "Well...only one other thing I can think of..." Hiryuu pulled out the Sword of Light...but oddly enough it was already lit when he pulled it... Hiryuu: "Hey...I didn't say..." Hiryuu held it ready... Hiryuu: "Well at least I don't have to say anything corny anymore..." Hiryuu made a charge at the dragon that inflicted the blow to him earlier... Miles: "Are you done attacking yourself, Anya?" Anya: "Not now Miles." Miles: "Then turn off the comm if you don't want to hear the truth." ((Anya's weakness: Holy, ice, and stat spells)) Colleen's mind starts racing. Think... holy spells. Holy spells hurt evil. Not sure if these are undead though. Probably not. But they are evil. So something has to give. But if I'm a cleric all my attacks should be holy in some way... Hm... I'll just have to try something. No way I know anything too complex at the moment. ...I really should stop thinking now. Colleen turns to the monsters and closes his eyes... ............ They suddenly open. TAKE THAT!!!!! ...Nothing seems to happen. At least until a white mist forms above the enemies and slowly begins to descend on them. Some particles in the mist are twinkling like diamonds. .....Eeeee... I really hope that slows them down... Colleen is about to have a heart attack. Colleen's holy mist attack and Hiryuu's sword slash collided at the same time and the result was devestating as a nice long piercing scream emitted from one of the dragons until it ended up dead within a few seconds... Hiryuu: "Well that worked...but we've still got four of them." Hiryuu's arm was really giving him trouble now...but he couldn't worry about that... Anya: *thinks* "...no....it might.....I mean...it does start with the word holy....the three of us are here...." Half the monsters were already dead..due to Anya's double spell.... Sofie's shining very brightly now, and sweatdrops pearl down her face. She opens her eyes, and spreads her hands towards the sky. "If I combine all of the elements to do good, they become holy. If I combine them to harm, they become shadow. I'm protecting them... my friends... that's good..." "Light of the heavens, save us!" The energy that has been builing up in her, gets casted out in one fast sweep, covering both friend and foe. However, it only harms the creatures, envelopping them in a thick layer of holy streams, and slowly dissolving those who pose immidiate threats to any of the castle's inhabbitants. Hiryuu saw a large flash of light from the side of him...and then a nice long roar of pain from the other dragons that were around...now nowhere in sight... Hiryuu looked at Sofie... Hiryuu: "Pretty damn impres..." Hiryuu dropped to the ground out cold... Way to go Sof... Colleen sees Hiryuu go down. ...Oh, god. Colleen runs over to Hiryuu and puts his hands on him again. Anya shakes her head and decided to fly back down towards Josh and Kyle. Anya: "Now what? I can't do another holy spell for a bit." Kyle: "Ummm..." Josh: "Stand back." Josh turns himself into a dragon and casts Holy Dragon Breath, which takes care of the rest of them. Anya: "Thats new." Josh: "Yea, good thing it did the trick." Anya: *snaps her finger* "Josh, go make sure everyone is alright, okay. I'm going to check out the damage here." Josh: "Right." *heads upstairs* A portal opens beind Anya and Kyle and they slip away. "I...hope... that... was... enough..." Sofie felt extremely dizzy, and her sight was getting quite clouded. She felt how the spirit world was caling her, but she didn't want to scare her friends by passing out now. "Celestria... could you... heal me... please?" Hiryuu slowly got back up after the heal spell that Colleen made out...impressive how a bite to the arm could be venomous... Hiryuu: "U...uh? Damn...my face hurts now too..." Hiryuu got back up and slid around on his legs... Hiryuu: "Well...we beat them..." That's when he noticed Sofie wasn't looking too hot... Hiryuu: "Colleen..." *points to Sofie* Kyle: "Ummmm...you think Josh should of came back with us?" The two walk on the same moonlight bridge. Anya: "Everyone must be weak right now. Josh isn't. He can protect everyone." ~~ Celestria: "Sure, Miss Sofie, thats why I am here." Celestria heals Sofie with her Angel Wing spell. ((There's two types of Angel Wing spells. One that attacks and one that heals. The healing version is very powerful.)) ~~ Anya: "Miles, status report." Miles: "Everyone is alive, yet shaken." Anya: "Good. Help Josh out if need be, okay." Miles: "Take care." ~~End Transmission~~ Sofie's all right... Colleen lightly slaps Hiryuu's cheek a little bit. It feels like it's numbed. ...Looks like you're a little poisoned. You can sleep it off. Hiryuu: "So that's what happened..." Hiryuu looked at his arm...it was looking a bit purple around where the bite marks was earlier... Hiryuu: "No wonder it was a pain in the ass trying to stay awake...but anyone have any ideas who sent these guys here?" "Thank you." Sofie slowly got up to her knees, then stood up, and knew that the holy spell was still a bit out of her league. She had used up all her mental energy, and even though fully healed, there was no cure for this condition, since it was implanted in Rain's genes, and such, in hers aswell, as long as she was here. After smiling at everyone one last time, she collapsed, and not a sound, or an image reached her where she was now, mentally. Celestria: "Dispell Poison. There, that should help a bit." ~~ Kyle: "Don't you think Cel should have healed us first?" Anya: *pause* "And thats why I have..." *pulls out an old looking jug* "This!" *drinks* Kyle: "You still have that?!" Anya: "Hehe, yep." *passes it to Kyle who drinks* "Comes in handy when a healer isn't around." Kyle: "Doesn't help all the time, though." Anya: "....umm..where are all the monsters?" ~~ Celestria: *bends down* "Miss Sofie...are you alright?" *looks up* "We need to get her to the rejuvanation chamber." Hiryuu saw Sofie collapse... Hiryuu: "You sure about that Colleen?" Hiryuu rushed over to where Sofie was...albeit a really odd trip considering we was still a bit dizzy from getting up... Hiryuu: "Hey...Sofie...you in there?" Hiryuu figured what it was...what she told him... Hiryuu: "She's ok...she just needs some time to recover...I think that last spell was a bit much on her..." Um... I'm a little concerned here. See, I'm doing a really good job of holding off my fainting and I think I'll wait until bedtime to pull that off. But... is Sofie going to be all right if we have to stay here for a while? Hiryuu: "Yea...she's going to be all right...and that's probably a good idea considering I was going to do that anyways until this happened..." Hiryuu looked at Sofie... Hiryuu: "She just overdid it with that last attack is all...apparently her character needed to recharge after something like that...and it's affecting her in the same way..." ...and then looked at Colleen. Hiryuu: "Would you mind taking her upstairs to a room or something? I'm not sure where you could put her...but there's got to be a spare room somewhere." Erm... All right. I'll look around upstairs and put her on a bed. There has to be a spare room near ours. With some effort, Colleen picks up Sofie and glares at Hiryuu. Don't make a joke about my strength. Colleen slowly makes his way upstairs. Hiryuu: "Considering she's less than a hundred pounds...no I won't make fun..." Hiryuu waited for Colleen, Sofie, and Cel to leave... Hiryuu: "I'm impressed that you still decided to stick around..." A familiar figure showed itself... ???: "Heh...I'm impressed you knew I was here..." Hiryuu: "Well it didn't take too much to point you out after a few minutes..." |

Rain rounded a corner and stopped and waited until Colleen got the idea of leaving with Sofie...maybe she should've helped him get Sofie to a room...crap...oh well...there were plenty of spare rooms...he could find one. Rain: [pant pant] ~Geez...that was close...I swear this water curse is a pain in the ass...how the hell did the original work around this? OY!...~ Rain went back to her room and took a hot shower...easy way to cure the curse... ...in shower: Hiryuu: ~Hmm...just wonder what's going to happen next now...now I know for certain that whoever this person is...he's out for blood...Anya's most likely...and I have no clue who the hell he is...~ Hiryuu did a 'this fist burns with an awesome power' move really fast and then turned back to the shower... She looks at her arm for a watch, but nothing is there and then takes in a pause and then pushes Hiryuu. Anya: "Why the hell did you call me back her..ermm..here for anyhoo?" *taps foot* Hiryuu dropped to the ground with the shove and got back up...he didn't need this tonight. Then he looked at Anya...yep...she got into the booze. Hiryuu: "Probably because I know what I'm doing while you are standing here drunk off your ass? Either you can chalk that up to stress or this is a common occurance here... Ugh... Colleen finally heads to sleep. He tosses and turns a lot, but finally ends up drifting off to dreamland. Anya: "I'm just..." Kyle: "Don't tell me you're scared?" Anya: "Tired." Anya places her head on Kyle's shoulder and falls asleep. Sofie opened her eyes. Everything was dark, and she had no idea where she was. "...Adrian? Hun?........" Things slowly came back to her. She must've been out quite long. He'd be worried if he knew. Sofie would do anything for a hug now. Or even his snoring. She felt so alone, and couldn't sleep anymore, so she decided toquietly explore the castle a bit. "...Damn. This place is big." She randomly opened doors, but all the rooms passed hers were empty, so she started on the other side. (sorry for long away time <<) Colleen hears MORE walking outside his room. Muuu... Guh... Not agaaaain... All of a sudden the footsteps stop... and Colleen's doorknob slowly starts to turn. ..... The door slowly creeks open... No..... Aaaaah... Hiryuu idly watched the ceiling and wondered if he would ever fall asleep with the amount of racket that he could hear going on outside...getting only a few moments of sleep wasn't something that he liked... Hiryuu: "I guess that word doesn't exist in their vocabulary..." Hiryuu got back up...and went outside into the hall, first catching a yell from around the corner...finding Colleen and Sofie up and about. Hiryuu: ~But yelling at this hour...oh yes...yelling...pff...~ Hiryuu didn't even want to know where Anya was right now...if nothing else he could hope she had drowned out her troubles in booze...still didn't mean that he didn't like how things went earlier today...oh well. Hiryuu: ~Well I know for a fact I'm not going to get any more sleep for the next few months with these lunkheads running around...~ Hiryuu was still dressed from what he had on the day before, so there really wasm't any point of going back to his room after he got it in himself to get up. He had the feeling thought that there were going to be a lot of people wanting afternoon naps though later in the day. ...including himself now that he took it upon himself to take a walk around. Moonlit walks weren't really something that affected Hiryuu on too many levels usually, unless if it was something like a lunar eclipse, then the awe would usually burst forth from him. However, seeing two moons...which he saw now when he was in the backyard... Hiryuu: ~Beyond reality and yet reality...~ So between going from point A to point B, and from doing nothing to turning dragons into nothing within the course of a short time...should've came as a shock to him somewhere down the road... ...and it didn't. Hiryuu: ~I'm not even going to think about it...Anya knows why...but god knows she's not going to tell me anything anytime soon...I'm here trying to keep my butt intact without being scared out of my wits in the process...~ ...and then he thought back to this evening... Hiryuu: ~...and my party consists of a weak, goofy, cleric that can't keep from being pervy...we have a spellcaster that saves the day only to end up overdoing it and ending up unconscious right after she ends up casting one attack...and then we have our 'fearless leader' who is nothing but a damned, arrogant, lush, tomboy.~ Yep...nailed it... Hiryuu: ~...heh...what a team...bring on Armaggedon eh?~ Hiryuu figured that common everyday logic wasn't going to be enough help to save him right now...and made his way back in after making a few rounds of walking around the castle... Hiryuu: ~If anything...it's a big...long game...right? Just a really really weird RPG that came to life...~ Hiryuu knew that was only wishful thinking... Hiryuu: ~Dammit...now I'm thinking at some early morning in the day...that's never good...have to get my mind off of it some...~ Hiryuu trailed off when he strolled past the 'Danger Room'...at which point he briefly looked at it...then checked his arm...still stung a bit from earlier this evening...but... Hiryuu: ~Oh hell...why not...~ Hiryuu made his way inside after the usual entry procedures were done...just a few codes and whatnot and difficulty and... Hiryuu: ~...Music...CRAP...oh well...no biggie.~ In the computer not shown to Hiryuu: RPG BATTLE >> HIRYUU PARTY - 1 WAVES: 1 FIRST WAVE: GOBLIN x3 Hiryuu was already aware that there were troll-like creatures making their way to him in this jungle-like environment...damn...it even felt like they were in the jungle...too humid for his tastes... Hiryuu: ~Blah...next time I change the environmental controls and don't leave it on random.~ Hiryuu kept the Light sheathed for the moment...there were a couple of moves he wanted to try out...so he waited for the first one of these monsters to attack... GOBLIN A ATTACKS - MISS Hiryuu easily evaded the troll's lobbing punch and before the Goblin could turn around... HIRYUU COUNTERS - SPECIAL ATTACK / 72HP DAMAGE - GOBLIN A FALLS Hiryuu: "MOUKO TAKABISHA!!" Hiryuu let off his character's patented energy bomb right at the monster...blowing the monster to bits on contact... Hiryuu: ~Gee...that was a little too easy for me I think...oh well.~ Hiryuu kept it together as yet another one of the trolls made it's way to him and he pressed his advantage... HIRYUU ATTACKS - SPECIAL ATTACK / 127xHIT / 127HP DAMAGE - GOBLIN B FALLS Hiryuu: "KACHUU TENSHIN AMAGURIKEN!!" Hiryuu released a fast punch wave on one of the little trolls...dealing 127 punches per second on it before it collapsed to the ground and faded out...leaving one more to go... ...unfortunately... DIFFICULTY SETTING ASSIGNED APPEARS TOO SIMPLE - ADJUSTING...WAVE MODIFIED: WAVE 1 MOD: GOBLIN x9 Hiryuu had a feeling something wasn't right when he could here some rather bad sounds from behind him...and they turned out to be eight more signs of trouble. Hiryuu: ~Aw man...what's the deal with ganging up on m..~ "OW!!" GOBLIN C ATTACKS / 14HP DAMAGE Hiryuu was too worried about the problems behind him that he forgot about the one in front of him and took a hit on his right arm...the bad one of course. Hiryuu: ~Ooooh...that tears it...~ HIRYUU ATTACKS / 97HP DAMAGE - GOBLIN C FALLS Hiryuu slammed his fist into the nearest troll and it dropped like a rock... ...although it seems that the other eight might prove to be a problem...they already were advancing as a pack... Hiryuu: ~Let's end this...~ "HIRYUU SHOTEN HA!!" The excess of force that resulted from the Goblins resulted in a large amount of power in this attack after Hiryuu found the eye of the attack... Hiryuu watched as the attack shot from his being like a bullet out of a gun as the wind generated from the attack ended up blowing anything not attached properly away...luckily his usualy shirt was OK for the moment... ...each individual troll disappeared the moment they hit the ground...thunk thunk thunk. She giggled, and played a bit with a little fireball, which she created and disolved with ease now. "Do you have any idea where TJ's room is? I really need to ask him something, but t seems he's hardly around when you need him." ((I know some of you hate these falshbacks, but hey, its in dream form, so screw you guys. )) A bad side to being a Dreamer, are the dreams you end up having while asleep. Which is why the normal vistors to this planet, really don't sleep that much. These dreams can be real or thay can be fake. A look into the future or an insight to the past. A wonderous experience or a trip to hell. DREAM ONE: Crystal: "So like I said, we need to head to the Castle in the Sky. We'll be safe there." Anya: "I just don't like the idea of running off again. Anya opens one eye, its now early in the morning. She gets up and pushes Kyle awake. Kyle: "I know you're not awake already. And I know you're not going to tell me its time to go." Anya: "I think I know whats going on." *pause* "Have you seen Victoria around, by the way." Kyle: "Bet she ran off back to her cave." Anya walks out to the bar and heads to the Computer Room, where Miles is, fully awake. Anya: "Run a scan on Victoria. I need to know where she is." Miles: "No problem, boss." *pause* Anya: "Damnit." Anya hits a button that can broadcast through the entire castle. Anya: "Wake up, you freaks. One of our own, as much as I hate to say that she is, has been captured. Anyone who is willing to head out with me, meet me in the Teleportation Room in twenty minutes." *shivers* "Bring warm clothes." Miles: "How did you know?" Anya: "Just a feeling, really." Oh... Anya heads up to her room and throws on so many warm jackets, you would think there were five Anya's under there. Anya: *tries to walk* "Screw this..." She then throws all the clothes off and wears pants and a warm coat. ((think Tomb Raider, her outfit at the end of the movie)) Hiryuu laid in bed completely oblivious to the comment...still worn out from the long day he had...plus the idgits running around and the danger room from an hour before didn't help things much... ...basically logs could be sawed in his room and he wouldn't here it. Josh: "ANYA!!!" Anya: "Huh?" *walking out of her room* Josh: "What about the scrolls?" Anya: "After we get Victoria. I want to look at them more than anything, but, who knows what that freak has told who ever she's with." *walks towards the teleportion room* "You coming?" Josh: "No, I still need to read up on some things." Anya: "Watch over things while I'm away, okay?" Josh: "Of course." Anya walks into the chamber room and waits for others to follow. "Should we go too...?" Sofie frightingly stares at Colleen, hoping he'd have the answer of all answers to this... though she expected a plain "I dunno" anyway. Don't forget, I come from a place where we're USED to cold weather. Anya points to a spare closest in the corner, that is hoem to a few extra clothes, weapons and some old fashion orbs and potions. Hiryuu was still in bed as this transpired...immune to the world and in the middle of going back and forth between some rather odd dream sequences... Hiryuu: "GAH!" Hiryuu woke up with a start... Hiryuu: "Oh so that's how...ok...too much thought during my dreams...sheesh." Hiryuu didn't really see any point of keeping up so he went back to sleep. Anya: "Colleen, Sofie, you two ready, yet?" Anya punches in a few codes on the dailer and a portal opens up. A gust of cold wind enters the room. Anya: *sighs* "This is not going to be fun." *looks over her shoulder to the others* Colleen shudders. I'm used to winds like this. Colleen is wearing a jacket with an unusually large hood. I'm ready. Anya: "I'm not and I've been to this planet before." *pause* "Okay, back story time. This is the planet Nertew. Half of it is a water planet and the other half is ice. Unfortantly, we have to head to the ice part." *shivers* "Our main objective is to get Victoria and bring her back home safe." *pause* "Or at least alive." *winks* Anya walks into the portal and stops, frozen by the cold. Nothing but blue mountains, water and sky can be seen as far as the eye can see. Trees made up of ice crystals reach forth from the ground. Sofie stumbles after the others, not very well resistant against cold, even though she was wearing a fully isolated ski outfit... thingie. "Bah, that place looks so light..." She advanced a bit faster after putting on a pair of skigoggles. Colleen walks behind Anya and bumps right into her as she freezes up. Brrr, this place reminds me of Canada in February... Anya? ...Come on, hurry up. Anya: *shivers* "The things I do..." *shakes head* "Null-Fire!" Kyle: "Another one?" Anya: "Shut up." They make their way pass a group of caves and seen off in a distance is a small little fort type buliding, covered in ice and snow. Anya: "T-th-thats the place." *shivers* ~Warm bath. Think warm thoughts...~ "Be in your guard. I'm not sure whats going on around here...." They reach the door. Kyle: "Should we knock?" Well at least you might catch them off guard if we knock... Colleen slowly creeps behind Anya. ...Think of it as BODY HEAT, Anya. God. ((Okay, I'm going to try to make this one long, to get things moving even more. Because I have an idea what I want to do..but...crap...this is gonna get complex.. )) Anya looks up to the massive cold door and knocks. And not even a powerful knock, or so it seems. The door falls over. Kyle: "Knock, huh?" Anya: "Hehe...oops." ~~ Ozma: "How did..." ???: "You of all people should know your own daughter by now. She's here for the clone. Give her what she wants." Ozma had made her way from her base over to the cold planet or Nertew to look over the progress that this mysterious person has been working on. ???: "I've got enough information from her." Ozma: "I'm the one in charge here." Raven: "No, you're not. You've had enough time to kill her. How many more eons do you need, Ozma? I'm the only one that has gotten close, and I've only been around since the late 1890's. Sad really." ???: "He is right. You had your chance." Ozma: "I will be the one that kills her." ~~ Kyle: "And no one is coming after us because..." Anya: "...because either they're waiting for something..or its a trap. Either way, we need to get Victoria back." ~~ ???: "And now we know more about these Key Holes and the connection to the Main Crystal, this plan will not fail." Ozma: "Its a myth." Raven: "Or so you say." ~~ Victoria, still loacted in the chamber, tries to break free of her prison. Victoria: "I swear, why do I even bother with these guys. I used to be evil!" *bangs on the glass* "Let me out of here!" ~~ Anya: "How knows what she told them." They make their way deeper into the building, with no sign of life anywhere. Only the cold. The small group finally makes their way to V's location. She looks up. Victoria: "Its about time." Anya: "What did you tell them?" Victoria: "Nothing!" Anya: "What did you tell them?" Victoria: "....I was forced because you guys took so long to get here!" Anya: "What..." Victoria: "They had me hooked up and look everything out of my head. Like I said, I didn't tell them anything." Kyle: "This is not good." Anya: "Come on, we need to get her out of there." About ten minutes later, Victoria is free. Victoria: "Home we go now?" Anya: "No, we now have to find out who did this." Victoria: "All I remeber is seeing Raven. But there was another guy with him." Anya: *sighs* "Great, thats all I need..." The five exit the chamber area and they head back to the main hall. Still no sign of anyone... Colleen talks to Sofie as the party walks. You know, I think this is kinda easy. Walk in, no resistance, walk out, mission complete... And I'm sure Anya won't let anything happen to us. They continue walking. Yup. Maybe this isn't so bad after all. Then, Anya's scaner turns on. She looks over at Kyle. Kyle: "Its about time." Anya: "You would think they would have done something before we got V. Lets teleport out of here..." Kyle: "Aw...fight another day, huh?" | Anya: *laughs* "I had a feeling it was weak from behind." *pause* "Okay, lets get out of here...I hate this weather." *shivers* Anya snaps her fingures and the portal back to Crystaltina opens up. Victoria: "Its about time." Anya: "Will you shut up already." Anya pushes Victoria into the portal... You don't need to ask me twice! Colleen grabs Sofie, shoves her into the portal then sprints into it and doesn't look back. "Phew. That was more than I wanted to see." Sofie "peels off" the ski suit, throws it in a corner of her room and hops into the shower. When the warm water turns her skin to a more naural pink color, she can't help but think about the new abilities she gained while being her. Good thing she never told the others what happened to Rain, her character, in the end of her story. But, she was the result of an endless ammount of experiments, and Sofie wasn't. So why did that cold shiver on her spine didn't go away...? Hiryuu was still walking downstairs when he saw Sofie fly past an instant later... Hiryuu: "Uh...hey..." Hiryuu trailed off when he noticed she didn't hear him... Hiryuu: ~Guess she's in a hurry...sheesh...some people this morning...~ Hiryuu was finally downstairs on the lowest level when he saw Colleen standing in the middle of the floor...with...stuff on for the winter season...what the? Hiryuu: "Hey...whoa!" Hiryuu noticed Colleen looked like he just got out of a freezer; he was red in the face. Hiryuu: "Uh...wow...hah...you look like hell. Want to inform me why you're dressed to go skiing when it's a gorgeous sunny day out...or do I want to know?" Sofie got out of the shower, browsed through the closet for some nice clothes (big advantage of this place was that things just seemed to appear out of nowhere, both good and bad...). She put on a bikini top, and a short skirt, as the weather outside was nice, and the threat of things seemed to be gone for now. "Sunbathing.... so long ago...." She skipped down the stairs, and noted that TJ and Colleen were standing at the same place she had left them earlier. "Either I showered fast, or I'm gonna hear now that I'll have to put off sunbathing because the next big thing in need of destroyment is on its way. Please tell me I just showered fast.." Hiryuu was waving a hand in front of Colleen's face as he heard Sofie's voice...he didn't turn though since he was more or less focused on Colleen's state... Hiryuu: "...I think he's in shock." Hiryuu turned to Sofie...fresh out of the shower. Hiryuu: "You mind telling me what's going on?...Somehow I don't think Colleen's going to be answering too many of my questions any time soon..." "What's wrong with him...? I almost got killed by that deformed iceheap, not him:" She poked him a bit, but Colleen still wasn't moving anywhere. "Ask away. Though I don't know what happened mainly. I did get us in a bit more trouble then needed, but hey, everyone survived." She looked around, turned around again, and looked at TJ. ".......where's Anya?" Hiryuu trailed off when he looked at Colleen once more and the Sofie...loop that twice and he came up with the fact that it was more to it than that... Hiryuu: "...you guys left somewhere without me didn't you..." "Ofcourse we went off without you. You're always so slow. Anyways, we went to a freezing cold place, Anya mumbled something about Ozma and her clone. Forgot her nam though. Vicky or something like it. Then, they were all doing boring tuff, so i decided to check around the place. Then, this really big ice demonish thing attacked me, but my spirits saved me. And then, Anya killed it, pretty cool to see, and then Coin pushed me into a portal again, and here we are. But Anya didn't follow..." Sofie stopped rambling for a while, as she needed some breath bigtime... Hiryuu: "Geez...didn't I say slow down?" Hiryuu had a feeling that they probably were dragged there by Anya...and if that was the case... Hiryuu: "...if that's the case...then where's Anya...did you guys all come back alive from it...or what's her story for being go--..." Hiryuu trailed off... Hiryuu: "What do you mean she didn't follow you...?" "Exactly what I said. She opened up a portal for us, Coin dragged me in, and the portal closed. No Anya, no Kyle either." She pondered over it for a while, then just sat down on the floor to play with the seem of her skirt a bit. "You think they're up to something...?" Colleen finally opens his mouth. That... was... aaaaah. Colleen sits down. ...Hiryuu, if you ever want to talk about hell... I'VE BEEN TO HELL. It was pretty cold but that demon... AUGH. Colleen gets up and makes himself a tea. | Hiryuu was back in his room...about two seconds away from going over the deep end. Mix of guilt and fury was about everything that was going through his head. Hiryuu: ~I love it when people give dumb expressions when someone's practically on the verge of death...heh...now I know what doctors feel like with a crowd.~ Hiryuu didn't have much room to argue himself though...he was the one who was asleep the entire time they were gone...she might not be like this had he been awake... ...dammit...he was going to get a few people for being up late during the night for sure; he fell back on the bad. Hiryuu: [sigh] ~What am I gonna do here...I keep thinking that if we keep this up...I or someone I know is going to die...~ Hiryuu just stayed on the bed...he couldn't really think straight at the moment...too many things going through his head. Sofie wandered off to the training room, a place she hadn't been able to check out before. She needed to get her mind off of things, and fighting some simulations would probably help in that. "Gah, Anya, why didn't you just come with us? Why didn't you just use another teleport thing if the one we used vanished? Why didn't you just flee from that guy? WHY?" She ignored the tears dropping down to the training room's floor, got back up to her feet, and prepared for the first illusions to come to life, and get a beating by her. --> (before) Not knowing how to operate the monitor, she had just bashed random buttons on it, and when the lights in the training facility switched on, she figured it'd work. As something small goblin-ish like popped out of a corner, she fired of a water spell to bring it down. "It seems I'm getting better at this... maybe my magic gets stronger every time I use it, like hers..." Sofie broke down her thoughts to concentrate on the next thing, a wolf like creature. After disposing of it in a similar fashion, she just kept going on, so she wouldn't have to focus on Anya... Celestria storms into Kyle's room. Celestria: "How could you just leave her out there!" Kyle: *sighs* "Like I said to Josh, it was her orders." Celestria: "You're the only one that listens to her orders when they consit of her fighting alone!" Kyle: ".....can you please leave, I already feel bad as is." Celestria leaves then heads to Josh's loaction, which is in the libary. Josh: "We need to have a talk with everyone." *bites into an apple* "About these scrolls. Sis is going to be out for a while, so we need to take care of this in the meantime. And I think I have an idea on what they are planning." Celestria: "I'll tell Miles to make an annoucement. Where should we all meet?" Josh: "Here is fine." Celestria walks out to pass the world to Miles. Hiryuu decided it probably wasn't a good idea to start falling asleep any time soon...and god knows that there was already trouble that came out of the last time he decided to get some sleep. He had to start moving around... Hiryuu: "Might as well check up on a few things then at least...been sitting her for about fifteen minutes now..." Hiryuu checked the HR down the way and saw that the usual people were still around, save for Kyle and Colleen. He wasn't sure where Colleen was and didn't even want to know where Kyle was. Going downstairs, he figured that there was only one real way to go through a time like this...completely zoning out in something. Only two things that came to his mind was the Game Room or the Training Area...and he had a feeling the cleric was probably in the Game Room already. But he felt like punching out some stress...so he made his way over to the Training Room... ...to see it was already in use...fuck. But that's when he noticed the program it was using... PROGRAM HIRYUU - ROUND TWO - ADVANCED TACTICS AND MONSTER SESSION. Hiryuu: ~Whoa...someone's gotta be doing some serious pounding in there...wait that's my program...what the hell?~ Hiryuu took a look at the user... Hiryuu: "(Oh shit...)" NEW USER: CODE SOFIE. He had a strong feeling he better be in there soon...but he didn't how to open the door during rounds...shit shit shit... Sofie was getting tired of the easy monsters, and figured she'd put the monitor thing on too easy. Right at that moment, something big came out of the shadows. It looked like a dragon of sorts, with red plates shimmering in the dimmed light, and it didn't seem so illusional as its predecessors. "Cool. The big guns are coming in eh?" She shot off a water spell, which had no effect. A wind spell, which had no effect. Followed by erth and fire, equally effective. "Uh oh..." Sofie figured this wasn't going to be easy, so she was going to stuck to defenses untill the program ran out. She squatted down, using her fingertips for balance, and closed her eyes. "Hurry up, gramps..." The ground started to shake... Hiryuu heard a sound he didn't want to hear in there...some sort of inhuman growl sound. That and it seemed the ground was shaking now...definitely not good. Hiryuu: ~OK...what button what button...~ Hiryuu pushed some buttons in a semi-thought sequence and then looked at the outcome: ERROR: CODE UNKNOWN Again... ERROR: CODE UNKNOWN Hiryuu: ~Crap...crap crap crap...~ Sofie was concentrating intently, hoping that Chi would come out, before the dragon would notice where the spells had come from. Speaking of which, he was just looking around dumbfoldly, untill he noticed the small figure, sitting down on the ground and causing the tremors. He turned his attention to her, and prepared to swing his gigantic tale to swipe her away. "Hurry damnit..." Celestria: "Miles, can you make an annoucement telling everyone to meet in the library , please?" Miles: "Sure, no problem. Is this about the scrolls?" Celestria: "Yes." ~ATTENTION EVERYONE. PLEASE REPORT TO THE LIBRARY IN TEN MINUTES. VERY IMPORTANT AND ALL MUST ATTEND.~ Celestria: "Thanks." | "Well, if I keep going like this, there won't be much castle left to attack, ne?" She just couldn't keep herself from sneering those words at Colleen, as if the poor cleric had intented to harm her with pointing out the damage she had done. Hiryuu sighed heavily... Hiryuu: "How many times do I gotta tell you...you didn't do anything wrong...you just happened to trash a really powerful monster...and put a hole or two in a wall...but I'm pretty sure that can be fixed." Hiryuu looked at Colleen... Hiryuu: "Well I looked for you first and you weren't in the HR...so you want to tell me where you were?" Colleen felt that Sofie was really resentful and decided not to follow up. I left the Healing Room and went to go look for you, Hiryuu. Once my job was done I wanted to get the info of what happened from you. Hiryuu tried his best not to give Colleen a hard stare but... Hiryuu: "She was getting the crap beat out of her and barely didn't make it...that's what was happening to her." Colleen just stares at Hiryuu and shuts up. He doesn't want to start anything at the moment. Hiryuu softened when he didn't hear any retort and turned his head... Hiryuu: "I'm sorry...it's just...I saw her get stabbed and drop to the ground like she had just been killed. Not a really good way to start my day considering I had slept through most of it..." All right. I understand... I thought everything was all right when Sofie and I left. I figured Anya was stronger and therefore could take care of herself. Hiryuu: "......." In all honesty, this was Jen...not some person named Anya...she might have the power of her character but it didn't necessarily mean she had the memory of it...or at least for this life since she had been on Earth the entire time...she could be easily killed by someone wielding a weapon if she wasn't careful... But...what the earth walkers did not know, is that by each passing day, Anya did rememeber her past life. Especially in the state that she is in right now. While being healed, memories of the past, the deep past, begin to flood her mind. Kyle listens in on the conversation that the three have, as dose everyone else, but then he stops. He can't help but to notice that Sofie looks like Stacie, who was killed during a battle near her Pub back in the Dorter days, and then reborn on earth, about two years after Anya was. Josh: "Enough guys. The important thing is that everyone is here. Now, before I begin, this is the point in time where you three..." *looks over at Sofie, Hiryuu and Colleen* "..need to figure out if you want to stay of leave." *he waits for their answer* "I'm not leaving. Not untill I know why Anya needed our help. I wanted to know that in the first place, I mean, you don't just ask someone to go with you to some kind of realistic final fantasy game world, just for the fun of it. No pun intented with that comparison, I just don't know what else to compare it to. What are we doing here? And why are there so little people here? Isn't this supposed to be a castle?" Sofie pointed around her, not aware of the tradegedy the others had witnessed, as she had arrived after it. Hiryuu: "You're kidding me right?...Just when someone that I know gets stabbed I'm just going to leave her here in someplace that shouldn't even exis..." Hiryuu trailed off... Hiryuu: "...I'm staying here until I figure out why in the world we're here in the first place. I know for a fact that we are all here not by some coincidence...or at least...we don't have...what we have now by coincidence...there must be some reason behind it." The only one left to answer though... Hiryuu: "Cleric boy over here though...I'm not too sure about..." Colleen puts his head down. ...Erm. I'm not so sure... But I'd feel I'm turning my back on you if I left. So for now I'll stay. Josh: "Fine. First off," *looks over at Sofie* "There used to be many of us before you got here. But somehow, someone found a hole and was able to kill everyone off, whereas healing medicine and the crystals could not help. The only people that were left alive, are the people that you see here and Anya." *looks around at random people* "Now, for the reason that you three are here, I'm still unsure. All I know is that Anya was called back here. She wanted to go earth side for awhile, with no memory of this place. And thats what we did. Until we needed her back here. Now, when we summoned her back here, something happened and Hiryuu and Colleen were somehow connected. Now this has happened before. Where people close to us, will be tapped in for an unknown reason and sent here. Be it a connection, a certain hidden power sorce or a link to the past." *looks at Colleen* "We know that you've been with us before in the past. Well, in a past life, anyway. Celestria aswell, left us for a length of time." Celestria: "Someone has to look after you guys." Josh: "Which means, the orginal people in all of us, are Miles, Celestria, Kyle, Victoria..." Victoria: "Even though I was murdered!" Kyle: "Heh...lets not go into that again..." Josh: "...Anya, and Colleen. Now this is not counting those who were reborn and have not joined up with us again." *pause* "And as for you, Sofie, you were not tapped. You were brought here on your free will by Hiryuu. So your case is different." *pause* "Now, on to the scrolls. These are very imporant pieces of paper. They cannot fall into the wrong hands. It has happened before, and it was not fun. The scrolls were once forbben to read, by anyone. But after much debate, we all agreed it was for the better. They were written to help us in the present. Not to see our futures. Thats why we don't read too much into them. These scrolls were written in the future by Anya, and sent to us a few years ago, when it was highly needed. And is seems that they are needed once again. It seems that they are after the Main Crystal once again. Its in a hidden location, so hopefully that will by us some time. It looks like the plan is to connect the light and dark together. And to connect time and the planets together aswell. In return, this will create one super planet. I'm still not sure why they want to do this and what purpose it has, but we have to stop them before this plan can get fully underway. It doesn't look like they're after the two mini crystals, but we still need to be on the look out. For those of you who do not know, one crystal is inside of Kyle and the other in Anya. Those crystals have been inside of them since the old times. Our main goal right now is to keep a close eye on the main crystal and to lock all portals. Some can be done right here on the computer, while others have to be done manually. Which means we have to do some traveling. The reason behind closing the portals, is simple. One, they won't be able to connect the worlds and two, they won't be able to go to that area and look for the crystal. And the usual number three, to protect the people that live there." *pause* "I hope I didn't lose you guys." *he waits for some sort of reply from the three* "But... I still don't see where we come in. Or better, where I come in. How can I be here without a connection to anyone? Other than that, what are supposed to do exactly? And what problems may be in front of us that you know of?" Sofie scratched her left cheek while thinking, and came up with another issue. Celestria: "I'm right above you guys." *jumps down* ((By the way, the commuication device is inside their heads. Right temple, actually.)) Celestria: "I'm not sure if she's ready for healing magic yet." Rain placed Anya down next to Sofie and just sat down...heart already racing... Rain: ~I'm lucky she's as sharp as Colleen...~ Celestria: "I think..." *pause* "What happened to the sarcophagus?" Rain looked up... Rain: "If you mean that one case like thing that was busted up really bad next to where I picked up Anya...it's out in the hall..." Celestria: "And it doesn't seem like it can be used for awhile. Well, we can try to heal her with magic, but like I said, I don't think it'll work yet." "Well, since you're here, I can think about more pressing matters. ... TJ, I didn't know you inherrited that curse of drowned girl aswell. I'm not stupid, I can put two and two together. That, and no girl on earth or anywhere else would wear your clothes. Too wide and too revealing when you lift your arms." She poked him/her a bit, and smiled at his surprised face. "I'm not Colleen, you know " Rain would've facefaulted had not Sofie poked her in the breastline... Rain: "Uh...yea...then would you stop doing that?" Rain sighed... Rain: "It's not something I really like to show off...but some guy was here and I think he has something to do with it..." Rain looked down at Anya... Rain: "Actually he's the same guy that did this to Anya...I think he's out to get everyone associated with her..." Kyle: ~Portal magic, are you up to it?~ Anya: ~I can't move, what do you think? Heck, I can't even hear anything.~ Kyle: ~We can't either.~ Anya: ~Some powerhouse.~ Kyle: ~HEY! You shouldn't be so quick to speak.~ Anya: ~So what do we do now?~ Kyle: ~Not sure...wait...I can hear something now...~ Josh: *mutters* "Kyle, you okay?" After about five minutes of battling off more monsters, Josh finally gets up and starts to work on the portal again. ((You guys did ALLLLLL this when I was gone??? I know this might not sound optimal but I don't think I have much of a choice...)) Colleen, once again freaked out by all this, is pretty much taking refuge in the Healing Room. Let's put it this way - he's smart enough to figure out that someone might need to be healed at the end of all this. At the same time, all Colleen really knows at the moment is healing spells. Rain could swear she heard something close to a dog whimpering somewhere... Rain: "Hmm...hang on a sec." Rain exited Sofie's room and looked up to where the sound was...it was the floors above where she was... Rain: ~Should be easier to jump now...~ Rain bounded up to the next floor...obviously impressed with the fact she could do it without falling or doing something stupid on the way up... Rain: ~So where's the dog...I'm hearing a wh...~ Rain found Colleen curled up in a ball on the other side of the room...if she didn't know any better she'd swear there was a Protect spell on him if that didn't say anything about his apparent glowing... Rain: *sigh* "Colleen...what are we going to do with you?" ((GRR!)) Colleen looks up and sees Rain standing there. Oh god, not YOU again... Why are you still here? I don't really think it's safe for people like you around here and I don't think you can fend for yourself. |

| Anya: "Or...ummm...free candy?" *pause* "Come on..we need to help them." *tries to get up again* Hiryuu: "Yipe!" Hiryuu rolled out of the way from the swipe the Behemoth attempted at him...skidding to a halt a few feet from where he was... Hiryuu: "Whew...close one...looks like that pissed it off..." Hiryuu charged another round... Josh: "My turn." Kyle: "Show off." The air begins to swirl around Josh, followed by a series of flashes and energy bursts. He then turns into his other self: a silver dragon. He then casts Holy Flare, which takes down the monster. Hiryuu powered down after he watched the Flare type attack total the monster... Hiryuu: "Damn..." [sweatdrops] "...that was pretty impressive I'd say..." Josh then returns to human form. Kyle: "You done yet?" Josh: "Hehe...okay, lets go." They reach the shop where the portal is. Josh: "Hopefully the owner will let us into the back. Thats where the portal is.<" Hiryuu was just a little worried though... Hiryuu: "Okay...but...it's rather...deserted here...and what's a big thing like that doing here?" Kyle: "You mean the monster?" Josh: "Either it was summoned here, or came from the mist." *enters shop* Josh: "Hello, sir." Shopkeeper: "erammmemmmm..." *grumbles* Kyle: "Riiight...." Hiryuu: "...Mist?" An FF9 reference?...okay...a little freaky but... Hiryuu: "Guess then that's not uncommon..." Josh: "Umm...we're inspectors and we're here to make sure everything is up to date." Shopkeeper: "ermeujkdfjkff...." Kyle: "Somethings not right...." No, no, no, no AND NO!!! Colleen makes sure Anya doesn't try to do any more squirming. Look Anya... When they come back from this little simple operation then you can talk to Celestria or something and prove to her you're all right. But for now you can't go anywhere. Colleen pauses. Plus I told her I'd watch you. And I really don't want a strike on my record. Hiryuu walked over to where the shopkeeper was who was currently facing away from them... Hiryuu: "Uh...hey anyone..." That's when Hiryuu tapped the shopkeeper on the shoulder who proceeded to fall over at the pressure while Hiryuu blinked and looked at his finger. Hiryuu: "Uh?" Hiryuu walked over behind the counter to where the keeper was... Hiryuu: "If I didn't know any better...I'd say he hasn't had a lot of sleep...or he's sloshed." Josh: "Or he's being controled." Kyle: "Either way, lets get to that portal, we'll worry about this guy later." They slowly make their way around the shoppkeeper and towards the back, where the portal is. But there is nothing there but a brick wall.... Hiryuu got up to see Josh and Kyle staring at the wall...he glanced over himself to see what it was they were looking at...finding nothing but bricks... Hiryuu: "Yea it is a nice brick wall isn't it?" *taps on brick* Josh places his hand on the wall, it it goes right through it. Kyle: "Yep, nice wall." Josh then reaches into his bag and throws one of the potions into the wall, creating a small tremor... Josh: "That should do it." Hiryuu blinked and watch the potion go through and felt the subsequent tremor... Hiryuu: "So that was it?...nothing too hard it seems..." Josh: "Yep. Now we move on to the next location." The three walk oustide. Then, a splash of water hits Kyle. He turns around. Josh: "What...ummm...why is your hair wet?" Kyle: You ask me." *looks up* "Is it raining?" Hiryuu sweatdropped... Hiryuu: ~Water...water...why does it always have to be water?~ Hiryuu looked up from where the source of the water was coming from... Josh: "Its not rain." *points up* "Look, not a cloud in the sky." Kyle: "Riiight..." *shakes head* "So where to now?" Josh: "There's one more portal in the open fields, then we head over to Zerron." Hiryuu looked at Kyle's now damp head... Hiryuu: "I wonder where it came from then..." ~Good thing it didn't land on me...that's for sure.~ Kyle is pushed back a little bit and tries to hold his balance. He looks over to see the person that bumped into him. Kyle: "Hey! We told you to st---......." Anya: *rubs her head* "Damn brickwall....how did you get over here so fast? Josh: "Anya?" Anya: "And who are these people?" Kyle: "......" Kyle then looks over Anya, and sees, well, DTC....but....the scenery seems to be changing. Josh sees this aswell. Josh: "Oh...." Anya: "What?" Kyle then pushes Anya back and she vanishes. Josh: "This isn't good." Kyle: *turns around* "Why is this happening so early?" *blinks* Josh: "I really don't know. It is too early." Hiryuu blinked to see...Anya?! Hiryuu: "What in the heck...I thought she was supposed to be staying back not being out here." Hiryuu walked up... Hiryuu: "Hell-ooo...do you not listen to anything anyone ever tells you or what?" (("Kyle then pushes Anya back and she vanishes." Didn't see that, huh? Meh...I'll work with it.)) Anya gives and awakard glance back, she can still hear the "others". Josh: "This is not good. Come one, we need to take care of the other portals. Lets hope this doesn't happen again." ====Anya's Room=== After a small nap...... Anya: "Colleen....ummmm....please? I'm all rested now." ====Computer Room=== Miles: *points* "You see that, right? Almost idendical readings. One being here and the other near Josh's location." Celestria: "They need to hurry. I mean, they've only taken care of one portal so far. ===Somewhere else=== Ozma: "Oh, that'll be good...two of them. Great plan, oh great leader." Raven: "Shut up." Hiryuu was now geniunely confused...one moment Anya's there...the next she isn't... Hiryuu: "Uh...what...how...who...?" Hiryuu just shut up...he wasn't going to even try to figure out what was going on...it didn't make much sense to him to begin with... Josh: "Dimentional and time rip. It shouldn't be happening right now. Come on, to the calm lands." *they begin walking* Hiryuu: ~...and from FF9 to FF10 apparently...~ "Dimensional whats?...ok..." Hiryuu walked behind once again...he figured they were all done after the first one...but of course that wasn't ever his luck... Even if you're rested or not, Anya, Cel said no. And whatever Cel says to me, I follow. I don't want to get hell from her, I think. I'm sure it's just a routine mission anyways. What can possibly go wrong? Kyle: *not looking back* "If you wanna go back, you can. And don't be so tense, man. Its just the possible end of this part of the universe." Josh: "Oh yea, 'just'." ===Anya's Room=== Celestria enters the room. Anya: "Cen I---" Celestria: "Have you noticed anything strange going on, Anya?" Anya: "Do you really want me to answer that?" Celestria: "I mean any rips in time or things like that." Anya: "Just the whole, the earth walkers are herem kinda strange, but thats about it." *pause* "So can I---" Celestria: "Miles noted that there were two readings. Both were yours." Anya: "Could have been Victoria and myself. Sometimes-----" Celestria:"No, V's readings are slighty different than yours. This reading was almost perfect, minus the reading of a shadow gene." Anya: "So what are you----" Celestria: "Miles has told me that they've already closed up one portal, but there's still alot out there. I don't think they'll be able to close them in time. Especially if this stuff is already starting to happen." Anya: "I mean, its not like I really need to take orders----" Celestria: "So those three might need some help, so I think----" Anya: "Don't like it when you get interrupted, huh?" "So Colleen, myself, and someone else, we'll go out and take care of some of the portals. You stay here with Miles to make sure everything stays safe here. Send Zar-Q to Castle in the Sky, just as a fail safe." *pause* "Damn, that only leaves Victoria...might as well be just the two of us then." *sits up* "So they're still on Crystaltina, huh? They'll take the outer planets then, we'll take Earth and Nertew." *shivers* "Not too happy about going back there, but it'll make more sense if we all meet in the middle, being Vid. So let them know that we'll all meet at Russell's lab when all portals have been closed." *looks over at Colleen* So you were right, wait for Cel. And we did, so lets go." ===Somewhere==== Raven: "Send out as many shadow demons as you can, to each location of the portals." *turns to leave* Ozma: "His troops?! Why Shadow's troops? My minons are not good enough for you anymore?" Raven: "You are lucky to still be alive." WHAT? Colleen scratches his head, very confused by the whole thing. OK, in ENGLISH, explain what you want me to do. Most of this conversation flew straight over my head. Celestria: "You really need to stop doing that, Anya." *sighs* Anya: *walks over to her closest to grab a few things* "Hehe, sorry about that, Col." *walks back* "Plain and simple, we're heading to earth to help the guys out before this part of the universe is destroyed." Yay! Colleen claps his hands. We're going back to Earth, back to Earth... WHAT????? Colleen snaps out of his little 6-year old regression. Universe... destroyed... no... couldn't have said that... eeeeeep. Anya: ~Might aswell keep him happy then and not mention the whole end of things just yet.~ "Yep. Back to earth. But we have to be quick about it. You ready?" Hiryuu sweatdropped... Hiryuu: "Y..Y..yea..what's so bad about the universe being destroyed..." Hiryuu had to keep himself from passing out...oh great...now he was walking into pretty much the face of death for all he knew. Colleen pauses. Wait a second. You said NOTHING about the universe being destroyed? I was just hearing things? ...Let's go back to earth! I didn't even bring a bag with me or anything... urgh. Anya: *grabs Colleen by the hand* "Come on, you'll be fine." They make their way towards Miles' location. Anya: "MILES!!!!!" Miles: *jumps up in his chair* "AHHHHHH!! Don't DO that!" Anya: "hehe..sorry." Miles: "Glad to see that you're better now." Anya: "Thanks. So, where are we headed to?" Miles: "New York, Florida, Alaska, and Egypt." Anya: "Thought so." *waves* "We'll keep in touch!" *looks at Colleen* "Lets go." They walk out of the computer room, as Miles starts up a conversation with the first group. Miles: "Hey Josh. You guys got some help. Just take care of here and Zerron and then meet up on Vid, at Russell's lab." Josh: "Who's the other party?" Miles: "Anya and Colleen." Hiryuu broke out of his stupor... Hiryuu: "He said Anya...so is she feeling better or did Colleen not do his job?" Boy, talk about a world tour. The United States and Egypt. So how long are we staying at each place? I suppose it would be nice to see the Pyramids, the Sphinx, the Northern Lights... Anya: "Sorry, Col, can't stay there for too long, we have a mission to do. Anya then makes sure that Colleen is close to her and they then teleport to New York...ending up in an alley, late at night.... ~~~ Josh: "I guess she's feeling better, because Celestria would not let her move if she wasn't." Miles: "Right, she is. And she gave me a little heart attack just awhile ago. So anyway, Celestria and I will stay here to keep an eye on things, and Zar-Q is set to watch over Castle in the Sky, as a last resort." Josh: "Hopefully it won't come to that. Stay in touch." ...I swear I've been here before. Colleen remembers his old New York leg of his Washington DC school trip, but also remembers that there's a few thousand alleys in NY. ...OK, what exactly are we supposed to do here? Anya: "We need to get to the location of the portal...and...." Anya stops and gets closer to Colleen. Anya: "Did you hear that?" Hiryuu was now lost...first Anya was not well then she was...guess it was a good thing that he found her in time...she must be a fast healer... ...that or she wasn't and well...he would laugh later if that was the case. Hiryuu: "So...anything new...or...what are we going to do now?" Hear what? This is the city, Anya. There's never a moment where something isn't making a noise, whether it's someone walking or a garbage truck or a huge cheer or water gushing out of a sewer. Anya: *looks at Colleen* "I know what a city sounds like....you forget where I live while not at..." *pause* "See? I heard it again..." In a corner, something moves..something small..and dark.... ~~ Josh: "We're heading to the Calm lands..." Kyle: "More like wannbe Calm Lands." Josh: "Open land, so keep your eyes and ears open." Colleen pauses. You know, it's probably a cat. Or at worst a rat. New York's crawling with them. Even I wouldn't be too scared of a rat... Hiryuu looked around...it was a pretty nice site actually as he looked out over it. Nothing but lush, greens all over the place with not an end for miles. Hiryuu: "Wow...nice view...so why are we out in the middle of nowhere then?" Anya quickly takes out a bo staff, a weapon that she's been working on to work along side the swallow, and rushes into the darkness, and a few smacks can be heard. ~~~ Josh: *points* "Do you see that sparkle, near the center of the lands?" Oh for the love of... Colleen sweatdrops and lowers his head. Great, Anya's going to be arrested for beating the holy hell out of a CAT of all things. Terrific. Just terrific. A monster comes flying out the darkness, looks kinda like something out of Kingdom Hearts, and lands on the wet ground, dead. Anya walks out and throws her weapon behind her, it then teleports to her storage area. Anya: "I told you I heard something. Come on, Ozma must know what we're up to already..." ..... GAK. Colleen wordlessly follows Anya out of the alley, suddenly starting to feel very nervous about this whole mission thing. Anya's jaw drops as they walk out of the alley and on to a main street. She points..unable to say a word...... Hiryuu had an idea of what that was... Hiryuu: "Another portal?...Man I wonder who picks the places to leave all of these." Josh: "Portals are everywhere. I mean, we just past several hundred on the way here. We just need to take care of the main and more powerful ones." Hiryuu: "Several hundred?" Hiryuu sweatdropped...as long as he didn't have to close so many of them he didn't have a problem with it...but it sounded like this was dealing with a lot of roads and that they were closing off...something like highways. Hiryuu: "Good question...why are we closing these things anyways...what do they link to and what's bad about having them open...and don't kill me I'm new at this." Oh, now what... ... Colleen's face takes on the same look as Anya's, although Colleen's face is much more pale and he looks as if he's about to be quite ill. Anya: *gasp* The bright lights of broadway is enough to take Anya's breath away. Anya: "UUmmm....its--its......." *grabs Colleen's collar* "Its Rent!!! Damn, I wish we could go see it right now." *sighs* "Maybe later, lets find this portal." *lets go of Colleen* One of Anya's skills, passed down by her father, is to locate portals without any type of device or map. She closes her eyes for a minute and tries to search the portal out. She opens her eyes and with a grin on her face she says, Anya: "Its in there. Hehe, what luck, huh?" Anya makes her way towards the back of the building. ~~ Josh: "If we don't close the main portals, Ozma and whoever else, will be able to use them to fuck up time and the different dimensions. From what we know, they're trying to merge everything to one planet. Why, beats me, but we have to stop that from happening. And with the things that Kyle has been telling me, we better hurry." Josh then looks over at Kyle, but Kyle has this odd look on his face, and he's stairing into the calm lands... Josh: "What is it now?" Kyle: *points* "Its happening again. But, I don't remember this happening...ever." The Anya vs Dryden Match can be seen in the middle of the Calm Lands. Josh: "The same person cannot exists in the same time and/or dimention. If this keeps happening, the two..." *pause and looks at Kyle* Kyle: "Thats their plan. We'll be able to survive if this side of the universe becomes one planet, but if these rips keep happening, we'll eventually fade into nothing, because we can't exists when there's two of us in one time or dimention." Josh: "Which will take us out of the pitcure for them to do whatever they want." They look back over to the scene in the Calm Lands. Kyle: "This is lasting much longer than before. But since Anya isn't on this planet right now, do you think the same rules apply?" Josh: "I'm really not sure. Look, their starting to fade, lets get down there and take care of that portal." ...How did I know... I think a musical might be more fun than this, but... Colleen carefully follows Anya behind the building, looking out for creeps and/or security. Anya: "This is ~so~ a tease!." They slowly walk to the back and reach a rather tall and heavy set guard. Anya: "This might be a problem." *snaps her finger and they are no backstage* "Or not." "Now, where is that portal...." Ack! Colleen finds himself backstage looking at a lot of props and costumes. This wasn't what I had in mind. I swear, if that portal's on stage or in the audience... How long until the show starts? Anya: "Not sure." *takes out her cell phone from her back pocket* "Its a quater to 8pm, so I think we only have 15 minutes. Give me a few, its been ahwile since I had to pin point larger portals." *closes her eyes again* "Make sure no one sees us..." Um... All right... Colleen looks around and sees a rack of costumes. He slowly goes over and carefully wheels the rack in front of himself and Anya. Luckily, it doesn't squeak. Anya: *opens one eye and tries not to laugh* "You think that'll hide us?" "Don't you know any spells or anything for situations like this?" I'm a Cleric in TRAINING, not a master... um... er... Colleen spots an open door, grabs Anya's hand and pulls her towards it. It seems to be a utility closet. Colleen locks the door behind them. Might be a little... urgh... cramped but it should do. Anya: "You are a per----hey...." *turns around and faces the wall* "The portal. Good work Colleen!" Hiryuu was a little glad he asked...at least he understood what the hell he was doing now instead of blindly being led around. Hiryuu: "...and we're standing here...why...when he told us to get down there?" ...Huh? Colleen turns around and sees the portal. *sweatdrop* ...Well, I can't take ALL the credit. So... Hm... Now what do we do? Seal it somehow with some magic spell? Shouldn't be too hard. Anya: "Nope. Well, actually, it is. You see, not many people know and have mastered Portal Magic. Only about three, I believe. Thats why the others have to use potions and such to close the portals that they come across." Anya places her hand on the portal and a tiny "glyph" appears, then the portal shakes a bit and then it is locked. Anya: "There was only one here, so lets head over to Alaska." *Pause* "Actually, lets go to Egypt first." *shivers* ~~ Kyle: "Well, because we were...." *looks over and sees Josh already near the portal* "Hey, wait up!" Hiryuu: ~Moron...~ Hiryuu followed suit behind Kyle to where Josh was headed and the portal beyond that... Josh throws down the portion and it closes. Josh: "This is too borning and easy." Kyle: "And thats a bad thing?" Josh: "No, but, I was actually looking forward to more excitment." *shurgs* "Well, we're done here, lets head over to Zerron." ~~ Anya: "But first..." Anya opens up the door and walks backstage. Anya: "I need to look around!" *beams* "If anyone asks, we're understudies." *grins* Hiryuu was getting a little...bored. Hiryuu: "Apparently this isn't too hard...so why is it taking three people to do this?" ((Sorry, but I made up my mind while at work to do this.)) Kyle turns around, annoyed by Hiryuu and all of his questions, "You know, you can head back. First you're crying about how hard and dangerious it is and now once we're on a somewhat easy mission, you still bitch." Meanwhile, Josh throws down a potion into the ground, that will led them to the next planet, Zerron. This planet is home to Queen Zinia Vid, who is Josh's mother and Anya's foster mother. It is a desert planet, with very hot tempatures. Its the complete oppsite of Nertew, which is where Anya and Colleen will end up. "Guys, knock it off. No one is forcing anyone to stay," Josh says, then looking at Hiryuu, "If you want to go, then go. But I would appericate it, if you stay with us, when and if something big happens. Its only a matter of time, for that to happen, really." The portal is now open and Josh walks through, hopefully being followed by Kyle and Hiryuu. Hiryuu knew he wasn't whining but apparently the two were a bit worried about something he wasn't... Hiryuu: "Oh so I'm finally getting on Kyle's nerves? Is that even possible...I thought that was his job to do on others..." He said this jokingly of course... |

| Hiryuu: "I didn't have a problem staying...I'm just kind of curious as to what we're doing more than anything...it's not like I've had my whole life...or lives...to study up on the concept okay...forgive my ignorance...sheesh." There was something else bothering Kyle. Something, that has been bothering him for sometime now. But that would have to wait. Kyle mutters an aplogy to Hiryuu and steps into the portal. One the other side, lies a hot and dry desert. Hiryuu followed them through...half-listening to Kyle's mumbled apology...but he didn't need to hear it... ...and he didn't really like what he was seeing... Hiryuu: "Oh man...desert...why does it have to be in the middle of a scorcher...blaugh..." "At least we're not heading to the ice planet," Josh says. "Hope you guys don't get too thisty out here, we have about a twenty..." Josh stops talking and looks to the ground. There is something moving in the sand.... Hiryuu: "A twenty what?" Which is when Hiryuu looked down himself when he had the strangest feeling...something akin to being watched. Hiryuu: "There's something around here..." The notion was answered with some sort of rumble in the sand... A creature brusts out of the sand, a sand worm, standing so tall, it blocks the sun. Kyle: *gulps* "Not good." Hiryuu looked up as the huge mammoth of a monstrosity loomed over them making an odd loud noise from where it was... Hiryuu: "Oh please...don't tell me..." Hiryuu unsheathed his Sword of Light and was already waiting... Hiryuu: "About time...this whole trip was beginning to bore me..." Kyle takes out Odin, while Josh just looks up at the monster. "I really hate these guys. Smelly bastards," Josh says, while still looking up." Meanwhile, Anya is trying to get a closer look at Rent, and its workings backstage, even though Colleen and herself are way behind the other party. Hiryuu looked once more at the thing before thinking of something... Hiryuu: ~Let's see if this works...~ Hiryuu made a leap up about fifteen feet... Hiryuu: ~C'mon...stay...stay...~ ...and hung in mid air. Sky dancing was a success. Hiryuu: "Ah sweet...that makes this a whole lot easier." Hiryuu put the sword back...he had an idea... Hiryuu: "MOUKO TAKABISHA SCATTER!" Hiryuu blasted the worm with a barrage of blasts...but they proved more effective as gravity helped fuel the force of the blows...sixteen spheres of energy in all which made the monster reel in place before falling over unconscious. Hiryuu: "Damn...that wasn't any fun...it's already dead." Meanwhile, back at Broadway... Colleen starts looking for Anya, as the show is about to start in 5 minutes. Oh dear God... Gotta get out of here, but knowing her... Urgh... Where the hell did she head to? Colleen starts opening various closets, looking for Anya. Anya... where are you... we need to leave... if you have money we can go scalp some tickets... Suddenly Colleen shudders rather noticibly. Um... Something... isn't right here... Of course, you can't attack one of these bastards without having to deal with the rest of 'em. Damn sandworms, when did they travel in clans anyway? Five more sandworms pop out of the ground. Kyle turns around and rushes towards two that popped out from behind. He jumps up into the air, twirls Odin in a circular motion, and performs the Fated Circle tech. Josh can only shake his head and wonders why he never carries around a weapon. He then opens his mouth and breaths out a posionous gas towards one of the monsters. Anya, with a smile on her face, walks back towards Colleen. She had gotten a few autographs while on her mini quest. She looks at Colleen, who seems to be a tad bit...scared? "Colleen, what's wrong?" Erm... um... Colleen knew this sounded stupid, but... ...I just shuddered. You know, as if something bad was about to happen... Maybe we should get out of here. Anya takes a step back, and looks around. "Well, if something bad is about to happen, I think we should stay and help out. But, it might just follow us, so lets head out of here before we endanger anyone here." Too bad for Anya, since she really, really, wants to see this play. She snaps her fingers and they end up in Egypt. On top of a pyramid. Well, this is just... Colleen finds himself on top of one of the many pyramids in Egypt. GAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! Colleen immediately grabs onto the top of the pyramid, but he's hanging rather precariously and is about ready to slide down. ...Little help? "What? You can't fly?" Anya laughs, since she is hovering over the pyramid, with no fear of falling. She grabs Colleen's hand, making sure he doesn't fall to the ground. She looks over the horzion, looking for the next portal. Hiryuu: "Uhoh..." Hiryuu sweatdropped as he saw the earth come alive with four more of the abominations... Hiryuu: "I tink I pissed dem awwwf..." Hiryuu continued his barrage assualt of MOUKO TAKABISHAs...unfortunately there was one of them that got through behind him that he didn't see coming up behind him... ...the only warning he had was the increasing dark that came from behind him and a sudden feeling that there was something close. Hiryuu: [gulps] "Something's...behind me..." Hiryuu looked in time to get swallowed by one of the worms... Hiryuu: "Aw shi..." Anya takes out her Crystal Swallow, and runs over, jumps up and, within an instant, scans inside of the giant worm, and then slices it in half, missing Hiryuu by three inches. She lands on the ground, twirls the swallow and looks over at Colleen. But he seems to be fading in and out. The pyramid isn |
