True but it *is* expensive. Although a lot of people who were in the market for SP's will switch over for the extra few bucks.  But you have to sell it at a price that is profitable. $99 would likely not be profitable. Maybe $149 would be but the profit would probably be thin. |

| My bet is that it is going to be in the 190-200 range. A little high, but the PS2 was 500-600 when it first came out. I'm pegging PSP at 350-400. | |||

$190-200 Canadian?  I don't think Nintendo will go that high considering the price of the GameCube and SP *UNLESS* they have some heavy-hitting titles ready to go that use wi-fi extensively. |

| That's how much the Gamecube cost when it was released. Nintendo realizes that their system is going to cost half as much as Sony's...Thus an initial advantage. For the first month they are going to milk profit, then a 20 dollar drop. | |||

| Another advantage is the fact that the Nintendo DS has a good 5 months or so lead on the PlayStation Portable. And with talk of a PSP delay... that advantage could really make or break this console war. | |||

| What are you talking about? The only case where we see this happening (never re-released, mind you) is in the greatly improved Super Mario 64 x 4, which is accompanied by a new Super Mario Bros. game anyway! The Nintendo DS is not going to have the re-makes and same old thing. If you actually looked at the list of upcoming titles, you'd see there are tons of creative and new ideas. The stylus presents a totally new way to play, which I must say is really awesome. You probably shouldn't bash it until you know the facts, or until you've tried it yourself. | |||
