| Speeky saw Kaz coming right at him through the air, and was too surprised to move out of the way in time, so instead he started spinning forward as fast as he could. The attack hit him, and he bounced to the ground. Since he was spinning forward, he was launched at Kaz again when he touched land, but pulled out of his ball and landed upright on the ground. Then the razors came at him. He tried to jump out of the way, but was cut by two of them in the process, which made him tumble over halfway through. As he was pulling himself up, he barely saw the fist coming at him in time to puff out again and bounce it away, still taking damage from it though. Speeky seemed to have a much higher defense when he was puffed with air. Speeky: What a combo...Spiky, you see that floating purple thing? Spiky: Uh...yeah? Speeky: I don't trust it. You attack that; I'll take on this grumpy fellow. Spiky nodded his consent, and waited until the metal sphere hovered into range to make a mighty upward swipe with his tail. The way the three were standing, Speeky was to the left of Kaz and Spiky was to the right, and Kaz was closest to the steep edge of the creek. Speeky moved in front of Kaz, took a moment to suck in a bunch of air, and then blew a strong gust of wind at him, with the hopes of blowing him off the cliff. Falling off would be fatal, and would probably take someone out for the rest of the fight... |

| Speeky grinned as Kaz came at him. Speeky: All according to plan. Spiky! Spiky: What? Speeky: Get over here!!! Spiky started to walk slowly over to him, but Speeky grabbed him instead and leaped into the air, just over Kaz. Kaz passed right below the two, and as he was pulling out of his move, Speeky violently grabbed Spiky's tail and swung it down onto Kaz's afterburner, hoping to damage it, or even impair Kaz's flying for the battle. Kaz landed behind them, and they both landed on their feet facing him. Kaz made his speech about his Hyper form. Spiky: This is getting ugly... Speeky: Don't worry, he'll be uglier by the time we're through with him. Spiky: I wish Spaky were here. What do we do? Speeky: Try to avoid getting too close, to start. I know! How about Pinwheel? Spiky: That sounds good. Speeky: Let's go! Spiky held on to Speeky while Speeky became a balloon again and floated upwards. Held in the air, Spiky rocked back and forth to create momentum, and soon had the two of them continually spinning in circles. Spiky's tail was extended outward, making a dangerous halo around them. Speeky floated in the air closer and closer to Kaz... |

| What I'm tired of is people making hacks where you play as an enemy because it is cool to do that now, not because they really take it seriously. Trashykins was alright with what he did, 1) because it wasn't a fad yet and 2) because he didn't make an enemy-playable hack to be cool, he did it because it was cool. I mean, I like the idea of playing as a ninji, and I like the idea of playing as a shyguy or a koopa or a raven (but not really a pokey ), but when this is done just to fit in, it's WRONG. Originality is not fitting in, it's being different, and that's how all of the greatest things in history have been recognized. |

| I think you might want to make some edits to your koopa graphics, so the colors for his shell would be the colors for Mario's cap and undershirt or the color for Mario's overalls; these colors change with the fire powerup. You must be using some color that doesn't change, like his skin color, which wouldn't change with the flower. After altering this, the koopa's shell color should change, not the koopa's skin. Get it? | Once I finish Super Mario Place, I'll probably stop SMW hacking for a while and pick up on other games that I've abandoned, or retire to making Flash movies. Though I've been tossing around this idea about a SMW game that is entirely two player, and tells the story of how Mario and Luigi split up to get to Bowser's castle and save the princess. Like, Mario will go left on the overworld and do maybe three worlds on his own, and Luigi will go right and take on his own levels. Both stories will have to be completed; you'll need to activate the switch palaces to open the red and green bridges for each other. Cool, eh? Also, I might make a mini-hack, a one or two world game where you play as a cheep-cheep in an entirely underwater adventure to get upstream. |
