| Just before the spell was cast, Ghost's staffspear made a ringing sound and flashed red a couple times. Ghost: What? Instantly Ghost realized what it meant, though he wasn't sure how; it meant he was doomed. Ghost turned to face Steak as the beam shot past him and the explosion covered his line of sight. There was nothing he could do, but take the explosion full-on. He lasted through most of the explosion standing, but after a half minute he fell over lifelessly. The smoke cleared, and he found himself in the middle of a crater, and spotted Steak at the top of it. With his last ounce of breath, he shoved the tip of his blade into the ground, where a blue portal opened, leading into the Netherworld. He rolled through it, and the portal closed after him. Ghost wasn't seen again for a long time... Also, if Steak didn't want to be troubled to find his way out of this desolate place, the portal he came through was still open. --- What a fight! |

| Kyle stood outside of the base and watched the smoke that William's ship left behind clear away. Kyle: ...Save the universe, eh? ...He should be able to do it. The discs flew back to Kyle's sides and withdrew their blades. Kyle regarded them quietly. Kyle: Not bad for a first battle, I think. Taking one last glance at the abondoned base, he trudged along the path again from where he started. |

| I'm introducing three new characters this time. They're at an average difficulty level, I'd say. Note that they always fight as a team, so they can kind of count as one fighter...sort of. Anyways, you won't need to use multiple characters of your own to beat them. Just don't underestimate them, and good luck! -------- It was a peaceful, quiet spring day. Out in the fields, the sun shone bright over the flat plains, the few small trees casting light shadows over the grass. In the distance were a few little dark clouds, which could bring a bit of rain later. Farther away from these plains was a deep creek with an old, rickety wooden bridge over it, about 100 feet long. This creek separated three short reptilian figures from the plains. The tallest was no more than four and a half feet, and the shortest could have been three and a half. They walked toward the bridge quite slowly, except for the smallest one, which walked at a surprisingly fast rate. Suddenly, a loud yell coming from the black, medium-sized one in the middle broke the silence. Spiky: Ah! A bee! A bee! Run, it's a bee! Aaahaaa... The small red one stepped forward and swatted at a fly, which was buzzing harmlessly nearby. Spaky: Relax, it's just a fly! Why do you always worry about little things like that? Spiky: Huh, a fly? THAT'S EVEN WORSE!!! Flies are gross and have big eyes and bite I think... The third one, the tallest and green colored one, walked forward calmly. Speeky: It's only a fly, Spiky, ignore it. It doesn't bite. Now c'mon, guys, we need to get to the battle arena, we've got seats reserved for tomorrow! Spaky, how far does the map say we are from it? Spaky felt around in his non-existent cartoony pockets, and then stopped suddenly when he felt nothing. Spaky: Uh, oh, right, about that, um... Speeky groaned. He was used to groaning with Spaky around. Speeky: What happened? Spaky: Well, when we were passing that pond a few miles back, a bullfrog was giving this funny look - Spiky: A bullfrog? Spaky: Yeah, and so I - I - I - Speeky: What did you do?! Spaky: I balled up the map and threw it at 'im. It was cool! I taught him not to mess with me! Spiky: Wait, does this mean we don't have a map? And that means...that means we're lost! Speeky: We're not lost, we're just...oh wait, no, we are lost. No, don't panic now! Spiky: WE'RE LOST!!! Now we have to be hermits! And live in caves! And eat squirrels! Spiky grabbed Spaky by the shoulders and shook him. Spiky: I don't want to eat squirrels, Spaky! What'll we do?! Spaky nervously let himself loose and edged away. Spaky: Why don't we just ask that person for directions? He pointed in the opposite direction of the bridge, where someone was coming over the crest of a hill. Spiky: What? You mean that shadowy fellow? Are they alone? Spaky: Who cares? We want to get to the arena in time for the match, right? Let's ask! Speeky: I don't know, Spaky, these parts are strange to us... Spaky: Aw, c'mon, it's not like we'll end up fighting them later or something. Besides, we can take anyone! Speeky: Focus, Spaky. Fine, we'll ask them. To the untrained eye it would seem that at that instant Spaky disappeared in a cloud of dust. Actually, he had just run over to the person at a super-fast speed, and arrived at his destination a few milliseconds after Speeky had finished his sentence, give or take. Speeky: Hey! You! With the face! Do you know where the Sim Battle Arena is? He danced around impatiently, waiting for an answer... |

(Obligitory non-double posting / post count increasing bump because this topic is great and has good potential. And also I made a typo  .)----- Out in one of the halls, Kyle watched User Grey teleport around the area with interest. Kyle: Heh. I thought teleporting was against the rules. He quickly turned his attention to a squad of machine gun wielding bots, who made their way into the small clearing around him. Kyle waited for them to open fire, not worried at all. The bots didn't seem to notice Kyle's lack of concern, and let loose on him. Kyle held out his right hand, and all of the bullets aimed at him stopped in mid-air! Kyle: Light bullets' gravity is easy to control, guys. Kyle returned all of the bullets back to the bots with the same force that they had come at him with, destroying the small troop. Turning to the side with a grin, he continued to use his floating saws to tear apart hordes of angry NPCs. After a few minutes of combat, however, he was getting a little tired out, and realized that he was hardly making a dent in the huge force of bots. He would need more than a couple of blades... Kyle glanced upward. He usually did this when he was cooking up a good idea, and luckily for him this helped him get a better one. His eyes focused on slight cracks in the tall stone ceiling, cracks being caused by the intense fighting. Kyle: Mmm...Meh, no one would miss it anyway. He kicked a random bot and flew up to it, using his powers to levitate himself. Once at the top of the hall, his disc blades went straight to work at cutting a huge rectangle out of the ceiling, about the length of the entire hall. The bots below him mindlessly tore apart walls and things, looking for more people to beat up. They didn't notice what he was doing. In a moment, he had cut the entire ceiling out. Hugging a wall for cover, he watched the large stone slab fall and smash all of the bots in the hall. Lazily, he floated back down and punched one remaining bot right next to a vending machine he wanted to use. Kyle: Wonder how everyone else is holding out. C |

| Ghost looked at the tip of his weapon. It was a unique one, a staff at one end and a spear at the other. The staff end had five metal claws that curved around an eternally lit blue flame, and the spear end eminated a wispy gray smoke. The tip of it glowed green for the moment, which was why Ghost looked at it. He turned up and concentrated his gaze on Kyle. Ghost: Your soul is desired by my master. I must take it from you. Kyle: What? Ghost: You heard me. I have been commanded to take your soul. Kyle: Take my soul? That's ridiculous. Get outta here! I hafta help defend this place from rampaging bots, if you don't mind. Kyle clearly didn't take Ghost seriously, and bent over to reach into the slot that his Cherry Coke had fallen into in the vending machine. Just before his hand reached it, the machine burst into blue flame and flew 20 feet! Kyle was...alarmed, and quickly turned around to face Ghost again, who was now five feet from him. His left hand was smoking a little bit, from a fireball he had just thrown. Kyle: What're you doing?! That could have hit me! Are you trying to get me killed!? Ghost: Actually, I'd prefer not to, souls tend to be harder to capture after their body is killed. Now, Ghost shoved his spear forward toward Kyle, who barely sidestepped it in time. Kyle: Great. Robots and zombies. Well, it'll make good practice for the real arena competition. Kyle drew out his katana and laid a good slice across Ghost's back. Just then, a door that lead into the cafeteria burst open, and a hundred more robots filed out! Kyle faced Ghost. Kyle: Well, stranger, I'd fight them, but that would be helping you out. Maybe we can have another nice chat sometime. He aimed his hand at the smoking vending machine in the corner, and his unopened bottle of soda flew out of it and into his hand. Then he flew swiftly through where the ceiling would have been and out of sight. Ghost: Curses! Time wasted. Not good for a starting mission. Ghost swung his arm in a peculiar way, and the weapon that was fitted onto his arm swung around 180 degrees, so the staff side pointed forward. When the mob had reached a distance of two feet in front of him, he shot out a huge beam of burning blue spirit flame from the staff and incinerated the attackers in one shot. Kyle flew quickly above the building and spotted an open arena C where a horde of NPCs were rushing a small band of fighters. Kyle: The action's all here. I'll lend a hand...and a couple of blades. He landed behind the whole army and began charging a powerful gravity spell. |

| Spaky looked off into the air past Dejan, with his finger on his lip. Spaky: Well, I don't knoooowwww...but if you insist! He said this last part very fast, and before the sentence registered to Dejan, Spaky had run a circle and a half around him, stopped behind him, jumped into the air and kicked him, landed, and did a backflip through the air over Dejan's head and landed back into his original spot with his arms crossed. Spaky looked impressed with himself. Spaky: C'mon! Can you do anything cool? Back near the bridge, Spiky and Speeky quickly made their way the fight. Speeky: Oh no. I should have seen this coming. Spiky: Does this mean we have to fight? Speeky: Hopefully not. I'll try to break it up. With any luck the poor guy Spaky's beating up won't be too offended...I hope he didn't for any reason call Spaky slow. Man, that would get him steamed. They would arrive after Dejan had time to pull of his first move, if he did anything. |

| Hah ha! Join in, the more the merrier! ---- The two skidded to a halt and whipped around. Spiky: Gah! Who's this person, Speeky?! Speeky (to Spiky): I haven't seen him before. Do you know who Schwa is? The guy he mentioned? Spiky: Uh...doesn't he hang around the battle arena? He's a judge or something... Speeky: Oh, right. We haven't seen him, guy who looks very angry. And futuristic. Speeky looked around and saw Spaky flip over Dejan's head and pose. Speeky: C-could you excuse us for a second? SPAKY! Speeky ran off toward Spaky, while Spiky stayed behind and looked off to the side of Kaz nervously, twiddling his thumbs. Spiky: Umm...hi. |

Fix that hammer bro, you! I don't see any point of advertising it if it's incomplete or screwed up. And it is. Nice idea though  .As for the level...dear God, I hope that is something that you whipped up just for the screenshot, because if all of the levels look like that (bad), then I won't be too interested. It's good to show people a bit of the real world. |

| Spaky held up his hands to shield himself and screamed as the lightning bolts flew at him...then, simply sped at out of the way in the blink of an eye, leaving them to pass by him, heading toward the fight further down. Spaky: Yeah, that was pretty cool, actually. I'm sure you're bound to bull |

| Spiky: Aaaah!!! Spiky tactlessly turned tail and ran away from Kaz, and was knocked by his fist in the back of the head. The force caused him to flip over forward, with his tail swinging about wildly. There is a chance that it could have hit Kaz from below. After this he stood back up, turned around, and clenched his fists. Spiky: Alright, now I'm angry... There was no tone of anger audible in his voice whatsoever. Spiky ran at Kaz, stopped at half of the distance to him, and swung his tail around in a counter-clockwise motion. The momentum from his heavy spikes caused Spiky to continue spinning, transforming himself into a lethal black tornado! From this position, he quickly edged his way toward Kaz, and would spin back at him again if he were deflected once. Speeky heard Spiky yelp from Kaz's Rocket Tackle, and turned around. Speeky: Oh, for crying out loud... Spaky, you had better be leaving that swordsman alone when I get back, I've got to go help Spiky! Speeky thought that Spaky could handle himself, and ran back over to Spiky. He arrived when Spiky started his tornado spin. Speeky: You, sir, did you pick a fight with Spiky? I'll end this. Waiting until after Spiky finished his move once (whether it was deflected or not), Speeky made an amazing leap at Kaz and made to kick him with both of his feet. | Spaky staggers up from the attack and wobbles around dizzily. Spaky: WaAaAaAa... that was wicked! After shaking his head from side to side a few times in a fast motion, he did a back flip and prepared to charge again. Spaky: All right, buddy, let's go! Yaaaaah! Spaky ran in super fast circles around Dejan, aided by the curvature of the crater, and created a whirlwind of dust around him. Spaky's movement was so fast, he appeared to be a solid red ring around Dejan, and if Dejan were to try to track Spaky, he would be bound to get dizzy for a while. After a few seconds of doing this, Spaky unexpectedly jumped up and delivered a flip-kick into Dejan's head, then stumbled backward a bit from his own dizziness, after which he ran to the top of the crater and raspberried Dejan. Spaky: Try to catch me, slowmo! Back with Kaz, Spiky, and Speeky. Spiky stopped spinning when he could tell that his attack missed. He turned, grabbed his head to steady it, and faced Kaz. Spiky: What's that, a metal ball? I'm NOT afraid of this! It hit the ground and broke into a bunch of razors, which flew at Spiky menacingly. He yelped. Before the razors got a chance to hit Spiky, Speeky jumped in the way and puffed out into a huge, round ball! He bounced slowly through the air, perfectly shielding Spiky, and four razors connected to him and were deflected. He didn't seem to take much damage from them. After bounding out of the way, he deflated back to his original form and came to Spiky's side. Spiky: Whoa, Speeky, I didn't know you were over here! Speeky: Yeah, I thought you |
