Spiky was hit by Grey's mop, and staggered dizzily around the kitchen, with his pupils in the shape of spirals.

When Korra morphed into his electric form, Spaky and Speeky ducked for cover, both taking electric damage. Spiky was affected more, as he was just tactlessly wandering around, trying not to lose his balance.

Spaky: 1/40 (Really, I did the math)
Speeky: 19/60
Spiky: 18/50

Spaky looked up from his crouching position when the mysterious figure appeared.

Spaky: Uh...all right. I'll mind my business, and you mind...yours?

Spaky coughed hard.

Spaky: Speeky, I think this'll be my last move for tonight, and I want it to be a good one. Can I make one request?
Speeky: What's that?

Spaky whispered inaudibly to Speeky.

Speeky: Oh, a Triple Attack? If we can assemble in time, it might work. Hey, Spiky, we need your tail over here!

Spiky wandered over to his brothers, and shook of his dizziness.

Speeky: We need you to get Korra back into his physical form, so we can use a Triple Attack on all three of our friends, here. Try attacking those spheres, but watch out for getting zapped. Now, Spaky.
Spaky: Yes!
Speeky: Charge your speed, and don't get hit.
Spaky: Got it!
Speeky: Now, I will keep Ami and Grey at bay.

Spaky flashed red once more, and was ready to evade any attack that came his way.

Spiky ran over to a sink, filled up a pot of water, and tried splashing one of the spheres, hoping to 'put it out'.

Speeky rolled wildly around the room, first heading for Ami to try to stop her from making more spheres, and then to Grey, because he yells a lot.

Cyberaptor thought hard about Snipes's question.

Cyberaptor: I...I cannot remember...my mission. I seem to be suffering from amnesia. Perhaps a concussion triggered this...

Cyberaptor felt his head with his claw.

Cyberaptor: No, that couldn't be it...wait a moment.

Cyberaptor pressed a button to start up his computer, but Computer didn't respond.

Cyberaptor: My armor is still functional, but Computer seems to be dead. I'll need to repair him manually.

Cyberaptor continued to search around his armor.

Cyberaptor: With Computer out of order, my teleporter will not work, and all back-up memories are inaccessible. You may conserve your medpacks, I have my own auto-repair system.

At Cyberaptor's word, many small mechanical arms came out of Cyberaptor's pack, and began making necessary repairs.

Cyberaptor: I estimate a few days will be needed to restore Computer - whatever force it was that disabled him, it was a very strong one...but I will need to wait, before I can remember exactly what it was.

Cyberaptor realized that he might have been wasting Phantron and Snipes's time, and quit his pondering.

Cyberaptor: I thank you for your assistance. Now, you mentioned you were heading further into the jungle?

Cyberaptor looked through the trees, and then up in the air. For one second, he thought that he saw the image of a kind of blimp...at it was important to him for some reason.

Cyberaptor: ...I believe that I, too, was here, searching for someone...though I cannot remember whom. I only have vague memories...about a blimp and an energy signal...and fire...I do not know what these mean, though.

Cyberaptor thought for a moment.

Cyberaptor: Perhaps I can assist you, to repay you for saving me? What do you say?

OOC: Mimic attacks pwn.
-----
Emily: Hey, that looks exactly like my bow!

When Ryan shot the first arrow, Emily dodged to the side, only to be tricked and hit by the earth wave! Hey, it's one thing to perform an attack, but dodging the same thing is entirely different. She tripped and rolled, avoiding the second shot.

Emily: Wow, I'm practically beat...I think you've got this round won, Ryan. Still, I'm not going to quit just yet!

Emily finished charging her spell. Once again, another sharp spike of rock shot out of the ground! This one, however, unlike the first one, came at an angle, so it would take more than jumping to dodge it...very heavy damage for this attack.

Hurro woke up, and started flying in circles around Emily. At the same time, rain started falling from the clouds...

Emily's HP: 2/50

Cyberaptor: My name? That is...I am known as Cyberaptor.

Cyberaptor looked at Snipes's medpacks.

Cyberaptor: You could attempt to repair my computer, although it may be a bit advanced...I was personally designed by Profound Idea, who is quite possibly the greatest computer that ever existed. And yes, I said designed - I'm not all biological.

Cyberaptor coughed suddenly.

Cyberaptor: Well, I've still got enough biological parts in me to crave thirst. I'm a bit dehydrated, now, and all of my water tanks have been mysteriously drained...before I can help any of you, I'm going to need to get my fill.

The antenna on Cyberaptor's pack started rotating quickly.

Cyberaptor: I detect a water source 1.4 miles from here, due North West. I must head there, for now. You can follow, if you like.

Cyberaptor turned his direction, and pushed off into the deep bushes, burning a path with an energy gun.

Cyberaptor froze when he heard the clicking sounds of a weapon behind him. Slowly, and suspiciously, he turned around as Phantron made the gun disappear.

Cyberaptor: You've heard of...of, the name I just mentioned? It seems that, to your systems, the name has been classified as an enemy. We aren't going to be enemies, are we?

Cyberaptor's irritation stopped as soon as he saw how Phantron felt, about her involuntary reaction.

Cyberaptor: Oh...

Cyberaptor was quiet for a moment.

Cyberaptor: You are...controlled by independent programs? So you did not mean for that to happen...what is your story, Phantron? How did you get here?

Cyberaptor still didn't seem to remember their encounter in the mine, just barely a day ago.

Cyberaptor was completely unprepared for Phantron's attack...but Snipes blocked it for him! The explosion rattled his senses, and when the smoke cleared, Cyberaptor couldn't see Snipes anywhere. After a quick analysis of the situation, Cyberaptor figured that Snipes probably wasn't dead...but he didn't truly know what happened to him. Cyberaptor angrily turned to Phantron.

Cyberaptor (aside): So you are the real Phantron, hiding behind a guise. It is apparent, now, that you are an enemy. I don't know how you know about Profound Idea, but if you declare him your foe, then I am your foe!
Cyberaptor (aloud): Snipes! If you are here, you better respond quickly! Phantron is too dangerous to be allowed to live, and I must destroy her while I still have an advantage! I'm sorry if this goes against your feelings for her, but you must realize that I am doing this for the greater good! Do not try to interfere!

Cyberaptor's antenna made a green beam, aimed at his claw...it was creating something.

Cyberaptor made an irritated sigh.

Cyberaptor: Come to your senses! Such a thing cannot be cured! I may not remember my original mission, but I know that my master would not want to allow such an evil a chance to escape! I have her cornered now, I must act!

His antenna was finishing its work...though Cyberaptor's determination was weakening...

When Ghost performs his Slash Frenzy technique, he is completely at the mercy of the defender, once they retaliate. As such, all five attacks hit Ghost, who was stuck in place during Lapis's combo. When Lapis paused to break, Ghost calmly removed the knife from his skull, and carelessly tossed it behind him.

Ghost: This whole scenario is becoming very pointless. What exactly do you plan to do after you kill me? I have a knack for defying death, you know.

Ghost looked around expectantly...but didn't do much else...what was he expecting?

Ghost's HP: 37/100

Mute will end next turn.

Emily would have been able to dodge the arrow...but the sleeping powder came first, and that was much harder to avoid. Once the substance touched her, she fell right asleep, completely against her will. What's more, since she was asleep and couldn't move, the arrow hit her!

Emily woke up, feeling very beat, and got up off of the ground.

Emily: Ooooowww...okay, Ryan, you win this one...

Hurro cawed frantically, landed on Emily's shoulder, and pecked rapidly (although lightly) on her head!

Emily: No, really, I can't go on, Hurro! Call off the storm!

The falcon made a grumpy bird sigh, and cawed quietly. The sky returned to how it was before - nice, bright, and sunshiny. After this, he flew into the air, and flashed white with magic, and Emily did too. Slowly, their stamina began recovering. Emily walked toward Ryan.

Emily: You, you're tougher than you look. I suppose that that's to be expected in this world, though. Or else, why would you have been looking for a spar, huh? ...Say, since you won, how about I give you something, as a prize maybe? I really don't mind...actually, I think it'd be fun. Well?

Spaky: What? Spiky, you fool! That's electricity, not fire! Nooooooo!

ZZZZzzztzzztzztzzz!!!

Spaky was KO'd by the electric outburst, while Spiky and Speeky were thrown backwards, turning black with cartoony ashes. Both of them coughed a cloud of soot, and staggered back up.

Then, Korra trapped Spiky in his electrical attack, which made Spiky fall over as well. Speeky failed to see which orb Korra went into.

Speeky: Well...I think it's safe to say Team Gemini's got this one. But I'm sure Korra wouldn't want me to give up just like that!

Speeky blew air as hard as he could at each of the electric spheres, one at a time. It was likely that nothing would happen, but this was Speeky's only non-physical attack that he had. Still, if they were movable, maybe they'd crash into the wall and brake or something...

Spaky: 0/40
Speeky: 4/60
Spiky: 0/50

As Snipes spoke, Cyberaptor stared solemnly at the object forming in his hand...apparently, it was a very powerful bomb, strong enough maybe to harm Phantron considerably...but...

Cyberaptor growled and tossed the harmless half-finished bomb to the ground, and blasted it with his gunclaw. His antenna folded back into his computer pack.

Cyberaptor: There is good in Phantron. Although it may not be the primary personality inside of her, she is still changeable...and Profound Idea would want me to aid this distressed soul, not terminate it. Phantron still has a chance to prove herself as good.

Cyberaptor walked toward Phantron.

Cyberaptor: All right, Snipes, I will attempt to care for Phantron, and avoid confrontation.

Cyberaptor still didn't notice Levi'athan behind him.

Kyle: Yo, alien dude! What's the matter with you, just teleporting here and attacking our partner?
Blue: Partner?

Kyle stepped between Vincent and Asha'man.

Hello. I just wandered into this forum for the first time a few days ago...and thought, meh, I might as well post up screens and info on one of the several thousand games I've been making on Game Maker. This one in particular is the most complicated/biggest one yet, so I thought it'd be a good one to show. Know that there's a chance that I wont finish it...and even then, there's less a chance that I'd put it on the web. But, you never know. So, here I go.

Super duper short summary: You control a UFO and go on a number of wacky alien missions consisting of destroying cities, abducting cows, melting things, etc. There will be a story mode with several chapters and many, many missions, with a bonus mission in each one that you complete to unlock secrets in the game. Also, there is an Arcade mode, where you can select 'Abduct' or 'Destroy' to play a classic game to get as many points as you can in the time limit. There may also be a multi-player mode, wherein you can choose to battle a friend, compete to abduct or destroy, and possibly play in co-op missions.

There's also an options menu. Bliss!

Now for the screens.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Choosing a file!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Flying over farmland in the Arcade mode.

Quick description: The green bar is HP, and the blue bar is energy.
The set of numbers counts the time, (Minutes, Seconds).
The exclaimation mark is the 'Sighting Meter'. The sighting meter flashes brighter and faster as more and more humans spot you - you can avoid this by cloaking, or abducting any humans that see you. As you are spotted more, the level becomes more prone for people to come by, to try to 'see' the ufo that's been reported. If you get spotted too many times, the military will attack you!
The pink box has text inside, that says 'Good' or 'Bad', depending on what you do. It helps you to know what gets you points and stuff, and looks cool.
The next set of numbers tracks your points.
And finally, past that is a counter for how many lives you have, displayed by miniature UFO pictures - though it only shows in Story mode, and this is the Arcade mode.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Abducting the cows, and getting points. Using the abducter beam drains energy fast, so it must be used skillfully.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Flying into the cows for chaotic fun! You don't points for this...but it's still senslessy fun!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Attacking the barn! In the abduct mode, the barns spawn cows for you to pick up...so it isn't really good to attack the barn. Oh well.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Cloaking, so the farmer doesn't spot you.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Humans that spot you report so on the telephone! You can destroy the phone so they cannot report you, but the alert repair man will come by each time, after a minute or so...so you must keep a watch over it.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Get spotted too many times, and you are attacked! The challenge usually ends around here...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Your scores in the arcade mode are entered! Simple trick, yes, but necessary for gloating.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
The mission select screen in the story mode. If you think that it is a bit bare, more missions appear as you progress through the game.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
The second level, taking place inside of the Mother Ship. The top of the screen is a bit glitched, as this picture was taken before I designed the status bar, so don't get on me about that.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
And finally - the game has its own CG cinemats, that I design with Bryce 3d. You'll see them between chapters...this is the one in the beginning, showing a space ship flying around.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
The movie's a bit long, and has the camera zoom around the ship and stuff.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
The space ship again, only here are the thruster thingies.

So, there you go, you can post what you want about this. Just felt like showing it off.

OOC: I that, from now on, whenever someone defeats one of my characters, I'll give them a cool item or technique, or something like that. It'll make a good incentive, and you're rewarded for your skill...
-----

Emily: All right. Here you go!

Emily handed Ryan a round stone that glowed gray, yellow, and blue in the light! Also, on the stone was a carving of a falcon...

Emily: If you ever enter any more battles, and you're in a bit of trouble, you can use this stone to temporarily summon Hurro! It might only last for a few minutes, but he'll stick by you for as long as he can. Use it well!

(OOC: So if you ever want to use the item, just PM or something and I'll join your battle for a few turns as Hurro to help you out. Whee ! Gotta use Ryan, though.)

Emily looked at the sky. It was getting late...

Emily: Well, it's been fun, but I ought to be going home now, or people will get worried about me. I'll see you later!

Emily turned and headed back into the forest...

Speeky: Oh, look at that...we won!

Speeky fell over backwards and joined his brothers on the floor. Spaky, however, jumped back up once he heard the news.

Spaky: We won? Yes! I knew it! You can't beat the Lizard Bros.!!! We're INVINCIBLE!!!
Speeky: Calm down, Spaky. One more hit would have had us all beat...and there are three of us!
Spaky: Uh...oh right.

Spiky got up and walked toward Korra and Ami.

Spiky: Hey, are you two going to be all right? I hope you're not too hurt - I mean, I didn't want things to go this far...

Spaky and Speeky looked around the room. It was, once again, a complete mess.

Spaky: Well...do you think it's time to use our Soap Master 2006?
Speeky: I'd say so. You know, the plus side to having a friend that's an inventor is you always seem to have a convenient device ready at hand, for nearly any random situation.

From behind his back, Speeky pulled out a boxy machine that had many robotic arms sporting thick white gloves, and a pipe at the top that spewed bubbles. Once he set it on the floor, it clanked a few times, and began cleaning the kitchen at a quarter of the rate it took to destroy it! The Soap Master used its numerous arms to scrub the floors, place foods back in their boxes and freezers, and glue back the broken dishes so you couldn't even tell they'd been shattered. The machine took its job so seriously, that it even scrubbed Spiky clean.

Speeky: Yep, this place'll be cleaned in a jiffy. Nobody has to worry about a thing.
Spaky: You know, this takes care of things so easily, it's almost like the writer only spent a few seconds thinking up a way to solve the dirty kitchen problem.
Speeky: Indeed.

While Lapis was concentrating, there was a CRACKing sound, and the mute bubble disappeared! Immediately after this, four portals opened behind Ghost, and out of each of them came a line of blue energy that attached itself to him. This event normally happened when Ghost started getting worn out, but something different happened this time...a fifth portal opened, and this one shot a beam of white, holy energy at Ghost! Somehow, Ghost starting taking damage from this last one, even though he had immunity... Also, this strange twist seemed to prevent him from getting his usual power ups!

Ghost shouted in pain as the holy energy engulfed him likes flames.

Ghost: Rrrrr! Why is this happening?!

Quickly, Ghost used his staff to cast Dispel, and all of the portals closed, bringing their energy beams with them. Ghost returned to his corporeal form, and fell to the ground.

Ghost: What caused that? ......I wonder if it was...

Ghost thought quietly, completely forgetting about Lapis.

OOC: Well, like you said, you're not really in this to win all of the time, just to feel the game. You may have ''lost'', but you chose to...and that's different from a normal loss. 'Sides, things wouldn't have happened much different had you ''won''. Spaky wouldn't have gloated, and...yeah, that's about it. It really doesn't make much of a difference.
-----

Speeky returned the hug happily.

Speeky: Korra, don't feel disappointed. You two both had it in your power to win this spar, but Ami chose to stick by you and call it quits, for your sake. It is just a game, after all. It's possible that, had you continued, you would have overexerted yourself and really gotten hurt. This seems like a wiser choice, to me.

Spiky walked by, rubbing his tail.

Spiky: Yeah, and it saved us a couple more bruises, too.

Speeky: Hmm...You know what? I don't care who got the last move - I declare you two the winners. After all, the challenge was to beat two Lizard Brothers, right? And you did!
Spaky: What? Speeky, what are you doing?
Speeky: I'm being fair, that's what. Congratulations, Team Gemini! You win this battle!

Spaky, Spiky, and Speeky all bowed toward Korra and Ami.

Off in the distance, there was spluttering noise.

Spiky: Hey, guys, our cleaning machine is finished!

The Soap Master 2006 stood quietly in the middle of the kitchen, which was now sparkling clean! Spaky ran over to it, and pocketed the device.

Spaky: Boy, that's a lifesaver. That janitor would have had us on tonight's menu for sure!
Spiky: Uh, speaking of which, should we probably get out of here now, before he finishes his business outside?

The spiders continued to swarm Asha'man, getting bigger and bigger, but fewer each second. They had him trapped, but it was obvious that this wouldn't last much longer.

Kyle: Yeah, I agree with Vincent, let's scram! Watch out, everyone, I'll teleport us away from here!
Blue: WHOOOaaaaaah, Kyle, I'm all for escaping here, but I don't think your teleporting is the best way to move us around, especially THREE of us. We'll end up inside a wall or something!
Kyle: Fine, that's out. Let's use your warp pad, then!
Blue: No, that's only big enough for two people, not three.
Kyle: Well, we need to think of something besides just running out of here!

Asha'man was emerging from the spidery trap!

Blue: No, actually, I think running is exactly how we'll get out of here!

Without an explanation, Blue pulled out two white tennis shoes from his backpack, and slipped them on!

Kyle: Blue, what're you going to do?
Blue: I'll break the sound barrier, if I'm good enough!

Blue grabbed onto Vincent and Kyle with his wings, and took of running at insanely fast speeds, leaving Asha'man in the dust behind them! Once Asha

Speeky: All right then, bye! We'll be sure to say hello if we spot you again!

The three watched Ami fly away, carrying Korra inside her bubble.

Spiky: I oughta get me one of those.
Spaky: Well, you know what I want to get? Out of here, this place's getting bo-ring!

And so the Lizard Bros. left the kitchen, off again in search of other adventures.

A few minutes later, Spiky had a sudden realization.

Spiky: Hey, you know what? In all of that confusion back there in the kitchen, we actually forgot to eat! Isn't that ironic? It's like we caused so much trouble, all for nothing!!!

She said that she had a theory that since insects are what most scientists project will rule the earth once man is gone, they are basically our nemesis. She also thought that we know they will rule the earth after us instinctively, and thus have an instinctive fear/distrust/lack of sympathy for insects. It makes sense to me, anyway.

Really? I don't think we hate insects for that reason. It seems a little far fetched. Still, it's another reason to stomp 'em now !

Please...don't mention the fall now...the summer's still going well!

Anyways, this year I'll be a sophomore...so yay, I get a little respect in my school. I don't have many 'fun' classes this year, but next year is going to be great.

Oh yeah, and apparently I have biology, which I have not been hearing good things about. Well, it can't be much worse than Science and Sustainability!
