| OOC: Yes, I consider psychic to be different from magic. It'll work. Also, I finally figured out a good system for keeping track of Ghost's HP. I'll post it now. If you think he's still kind of high...well, get him to half HP for a break... ----- Ghost hand his right arm extended and his shield pointed away, and wasn't able to block Lapis's dagger. Ghost was knocked back slightly from the hit. Ghost: Enough child's play. Let's see you get out of this! Ghost passed through Lapis, and quickly shot his spear forward at her for light damage! After this, he swiftly flew through her again, and stabbed again. Ghost continued this pattern of quick attacks at random positions, averaging about four attacks per second. He would continue this attack until Lapis dodged, blocked, or countered. Ghost's HP: 57/100 (edited by CheesePie on 07-13-05 04:00 PM) |

| The sand wore away the shield slightly, but the psychic mist is what completely destroyed it. Emily started taking damage as soon as the shield was gone. Emily: *cough* Hurro! Get me out of here! Hurro grabbed Emily's arms with his talons, and flew into the air, away from the mist! The cloud followed Emily's position as she moved, still hiding her from view...though it flickered for a moment. The spell was about to wear out. Emily couldn't move from her position, so Hurro did instead. He cawed wildly, and a whirlwind formed to the side of Ryan! The small tornado moved slowly, but unpredictably, and ultimately made its way through Ryan. It would deal medium-heavy wind damage. Emily's HP: 10/50 (20%) |

| Luck for Korra! Just as Spaky was about to jump up from his charging, the gear cut into the both of them, halting their attack! Speeky and Spaky rolled off in separate directions, but Spaky was fast enough to recover this turn. Spaky: Aww, that move was going to be great! Oh, well. Spaky sped around Korra at high speeds, creating a whirlwind! After a few seconds, Spaky branched off from Korra and leaned against a wall, slightly dizzy. If Spaky wasn't stopped in his running, then Korra would be caught in the tornado, taking only light wind damage, but probably ending up VERY dizzy. Spiky continued to get hit by Ami's beams, and was getting noticeably grumpier. Spiky: Ohhhh! All right, that's it! I'm coming at ya! Spiky spun in a circle with his tail stretched out, hoping to knock Ami away so she'd leave him alone. The attack was kind of slow, but dealt heavy damage. Spaky: 6/40 Speeky: 24/60 Spiky: 28/50 |

| The cloud surrounding Emily disappeared, revealing her location. Hurro had dropped Emily on the ground to the side of Ryan, and was flying in the air again. He saw Ryan charging, and sensed that his move would be a strong one. With a few caws, Hurro told Emily about the coming attack. Emily: Hmm...if you finish that charge any time soon, I think you'll have this match won! But you're still open for now. Emily shot an earth arrow near Ryan's feet, just outside of his barrier. The ground attack traveled toward him, as usual. Hurro cawed a several times, and a few seconds later, some dark clouds appeared in the sky above Ryan and Emily. No big moves for him this turn. Emily's HP: 10/50 (20%) |

| Ryan's mind blast affected Hurro, but seemed to miss Emily. Perhaps another try would work. Hurro fell to the ground, dazed, but the clouds still grew darker. Whatever was happening was happening on its own, now. Emily fired another arrow, this one aimed directly at Ryan... Emily's HP: 8/50 |

I don't rate pics often, but I must say, this one looks great. I can just, feel the fun by looking at the clever ways you set up some obstacles...like with the circling boos on the narrow platforms. I might have to steal your ideas  . If I ever get back to my game  .Just fix the problems mentioned before, and you'll be on your way. | I can't play the demo right now, but those screens are something. The ripped graphics are pretty nifty (though I'm not sure how well they fit into Mario...oh well). And yeah, the opening screens does look a bit...silly. Still, I'm looking forward to playing it. |

| Speeky recovered, and stood next to Spaky. Speeky: How're you feeling? Spaky: Perfectly fine! I'm nowhere near quitting! Spaky gasped for breath, giving away his true condition. Speeky: You should stop now. Spaky: No! Things are just getting started! Come on! Spaky took off, and attempted to head butt Ami! After this, he did the same to Korra. Medium damage for this attack. Speeky regarded the floating electric spheres, already suspecting their purpose - though he'd need to see Korra in action, first. To attack, he puffed up, and shot his spines everywhere again! Spiky seemed glad that the attention was away from him, and secretly charged his tail... |

Blue: Whoa, Kyle, you fight in a tournament? Kyle: Yeah, Blue. Blue: That's neat...I have to see that place, someday. Kyle: So, Vincent, you know Xzavien? He was a cool guy...he fought well, and was pretty fair too. Kyle paused for a moment when Vincent mentioned the power spike. Blue:...? Kyle: I didn't feel anything. Blue: Neither did I......but I see something!!! Blue pointed his wing toward Asha'man, who had just teleported to the side of them! --- A few miles ahead, Cyberaptor slowly stirred in place. If Phantron had thoroughly noted Cyberaptor's injuries before she healed him, she would have found that the only damage he had taken was from his fall, and a few scratches and bruises from his previous fight. However, his helmet was COMPLETELY melted, and steamed incredibly... in a few minutes, Cyberaptor regained consciousness. The dinosaur stared around confusedly at Phantron and Snipes...but showed no sign of recognition. Cyberaptor rolled over, and laboriously lifted himself up to his full height. After this, he was aware of a burning sensation on his head, and promptly removed his helmet, letting loose a torrent of orange and red smoke that disappeared into the air. Cyberaptor dismally tossed his helmet to the ground, and used his antenna on his computer pack to scan the helmet, transforming it from matter to data, which was then stored inside of his computer. One second later, his antenna reversed this process, and created a new helmet just like the old one. Cyberaptor fit it on his head, and then regarded Snipes and Phantron. Cyberaptor: You two...did you heal me, just a while ago? |

| As Emily was preparing to fire another arrow, she became aware of something behind her, and turned around just in time to see the mimic hand. She was startled, and accidentally fired an arrow at it just as it touched her, learning all of her attacks. After this, she back flipped farther, between the hand and Ryan, and prepared to cast a spell. Hurro twitched on the ground, still unable to move. |
