| As soon as Ryan escaped from the vines, Emily was released as well. She brought up her green magic shield again as the explosion covered her, reducing the damage significantly. Still, she audibly gasped as the explosion ended - she was getting quite tired. However, she had received enough mana from Ryan to cast a spell immediately, and so she did. Her hands glowed green for a moment, and then the field was covered in thousands of fast moving magic particles, all shaped like leaves, and all as sharp as daggers! As each one blew by Ryan, they would deal light damage if they hit - but there were so many everywhere, by the time the spell ended he was likely to have received heavy damage. In the confusion of the cloud of magic, Emily prepared another arrow to fire at Ryan... |

| Cyberaptor looked around the arena, and saw no sign of Mewquas. He had lost track of the Irken invader in the sea of spikes... Cyberaptor's right claw flashed black and transformed into a gun, which Cyberaptor charged energy into. He may not have been able to see his foes now, but his weapon would certainly find them... |

| As the bullets from the slingshots came at the trio, Cyberaptor jumped forward and whirled his cyberstaff, which deflected most of the shots. Others bounced off of his armor, and fewer still hit his skin...he wasn't hurt very much. After Kirby Star chased away the shyguys, Cyberaptor accepted his armor happily. Cyberaptor: Thanks for your help, both of you. The velociraptor rebooted Computer, and was just about to put him on, when Kamek appeared again and took Kirby Star hostage! Cyberaptor: What?! You vile koopa, how dare you! Cyberaptor looked at Computer, and then Kirby Star...it was either give the armor to Kamek, or let Kirby Star kick the bucket...not much of a question, really. Cyberaptor: Fine, you can have the armor, but you must let Kirby Star go... and do not harm him! Cyberaptor pressed a button on Computer, and slid him over to Kamek's feet... |

| Hurro cawed to Emily, alerting her of the now powered-up Ryan behind her. Emily quickly jumped out of the way. Emily: Okay, Hurro, now I think I will need some help! Hurro cawed happily at the news - he had been itching to do more than merely spectate. The bird excitedly flew next to Emily, and then flashed gray. Suddenly, a large cloud appeared around Emily, completely hiding her from view! The cloud had a 20 foot radius, and was a perfect sphere. Anyone who entered the area would see nothing but white fuzz, except for Emily and Hurro. Emily quickly let go of her earth arrow, which was aimed straight for Ryan's chest! After this (it only takes a second to let go of an arrow), she drank a potion from her bag that increased her agility - she would need to dodge all of Ryan's attacks, as at 10x the power, one hit would KO her. |

| The cloud didn't seem to be working - the ball was heading straight for Emily! Hurro quickly dived in the way, suddenly covered with a powerful aura of wind. The ball brushed by the side of the wind shield...and swung completely around, now toward Ryan, and sped to twice its normal speed! Deep inside the cloud, there was a brown flash, caused by a charging earth spell... |

Some insects I don't mind...like...ladybugs  .Butterflies kind of creep me out, though. I don't know why. Maybe it's just that they get so...BIG. Moths aren't that great, either. I HATE BEES! Bees are the single most vicious, dispicable, satan-worshipping, vile, murderous, hateful, uncaring, god-foresaken, demonic killing machines that ever disgraced this planet! That also goes for hornets, yellow jackets, wasps, and any other thing that flies and stings. Aw, hell, mosquitos and fleas too. Then...there's spiders. I've been getting braver around them, lately - now I can kill them, and look at the same time ! ...But then I had to go and see those camel spiders. Dude...they eat your flesh...and you can't even tell, because you can't feel it!!!So, I guess I don't really like bugs. Nope. |

| I'm reading this at night, and I'm getting the heebie-jeebies. Types quickly so he can return to the comfort of the Story Forum. Aliens: I'm torn between my religious beliefs and my logic. One part of me says that only humans should exist, as we are God's only creation, but the other part of me says that the universe is so immense, how could they NOT exist? IF they do, though, I would not expect them to be humanoid in any way. Or even remotely similar to any animal on our planet. They could be some sort of entirely different kind of life form, not a mammal or a reptile or a fish...probably just plants or germs, though. Ghosts: Uhm...I kind of think so. Maybe. Possibly...I don't know. I have...vague memories, that for some reason I have associated with ghosts, but I'm not sure. I kind of hope not, though, it's sounds like it'd be crappy to be a ghost. Maybe not. As for psychic powers, that I do believe. Actually, I think I have some. For SOME reason (and this has been happening for the past 3 or 4 years now, SO MANY TIMES), at any part of the day I'll be thinking of this random scene in a movie, not even aware that I'm thinking of it, and later that day I'll end up watching it. Usually it's not even my choice to watch it - my mom will put the movie on, or I'll see it on TV and not realize that I had thought of it until the scene comes on. "I almost never look at clocks, but every so often, I get an odd impulse to direct my attention towards one. Without fail, every time I get such an impulse, the clock is at 3:17. I hope you understand what that means. This has been going on since my teen years. On more than one occasion, the clock I'm looking at is blinking, because there had been a recent power outtage, so the time isn't even accurate. I have no explination for this." That same thing happens to me  . Only with me, it's 10:34...or, it was. I got it ALL the time last summer, but it stopped after a while. |

| OOC: Ah, Schwa, you're back. I thought this thread was getting unpopular. Also OOC: I'm typing this kind of late at night. Sorry if there r typos. --- Spaky seemed confused at Ami's question. Spaky: Eh? Kaz? Hmm...Kaz...where've I heard that name before? Kaz. Kaz. OH, the armored guy, with the metal ring thingies! Yeah, Spiky charged his tail for added attack power, and then I swung him around...he was defeated faster than I thought he would be with that attack, actually. Why do you want to know? Pause Spaky: Wait - how did you know - ? Pause Spaky: ...Anyways, let's get back to the fighting. S-shall we? Spaky ran in fast circuits around the room, creating one solid, red, blurry ring as he did so! He quickly skidded to a stop next to Speeky, kicking up some of the fast-draining water as he went. Speeky: Oh, yeah. Heh. I completely forgot about team attacks! Spaky: Hey, so did I. Let's do one now! Speeky: Right. Speed Roller, let's go! Speeky puffed up, exposing his spines, and Spaky jumped on top of him! As Spaky landed, he was careful to find a bare spot on his brother's skin, so he didn't get poked. The two wobbled unsteadily for a moment, but then, Spaky starting moving his legs in a backward running motion, rolling Speeky along at an exceptional speed! This was just like Speeky's previous rollout attack, but faster and a bit stronger. Spaky rolled Speeky forward, trying to flatten Korra! Whether they hit or missed, Spaky slowed to a stop, and then changed direction, heading for Ami. However, before they could get in range...one well aimed banana found its way to Spaky's head, courtesy of Grey, knocking Spaky off of Speeky. Speeky flew off randomly, and Spaky landed on the floor, between Korra and Ami. Spiky idly filed his claws, while whistling to a Super Mario World song. |
