Okay, I've dug through this thread and have not been able to find what I've been looking for because
it either hasn't been asked or it's buried in the middle of a long post or terms that I don't know surround it, so,
SORRY if this is repeated, but I need to know this once and for all.

Right. I'm trying to reconfigure my layout so that there is this background (which can be easily applied),
and then over it I want a purple box containing my text inside of it. I want the box to change sizes with the
text. I sort of have this now, only this is done with a mere picture, and I must shape my text to the box
manually. Also, I don't think it looks right on all browsers. Oh yeah, and last, I want the background image
to be the same size for every post. Can the be done? Help! Please?!

I haven't really seen the screens yet, but it sounds like there is good to counter the bad. My advice is to stay original, God knows that there are FAR too many remakes of old Mario games here. And if you are going to remake SMB 3, do it right!

That said, I do wish you luck.

And I think having a boot instead of a Yoshi is fine. No more eating blue shells and skipping levels.

The graphics are put together real nice...as everyone else already said. Yes, actually, EXCELLENT GRAPHICS. You see I am COMPLEMENTING you. Hopefully this will shadow the below comment.

Uh, can you show me a good screen where some sprites are placed together to rm an original setup? Right now it kind of looks like...platforms with...rexes and moles dressed as shyguys. Good graphics, but...um...yes.

Well, I ought not to be so judgmental just yet. Therefore I eagerly await a demo!

It definately has potential, and at some parts was pretty fun. How old are you? 12? Geez, at twelve I didn't even know how to edit graphics. The graphics are done very nicely. Gameplay, however, is a bit to easy and lacking creativity. There were some neat parts, but a lot of it was dodging jellyfish, jumping over countless koopas, and then just long stretches of enemy-less areas. Your next move should be to add a more diverse arrangement of sprites. Otherwise, you did a nifty job. This'll keep me busy for some time.
