The Soviets used a graphite silica compound designed to melt and encase radioactive isotopes inorder to slow the reaching of critical mass. The additional problem with Chernoybl was that the engineers at the plant were running stress and safety tests without the proper safeties. The reason it happened was the 10 ton reactor cap blew off because of a steam and pressure build up. And that 10 ton reactor top was a granite slab. The steam threw it away like a frisbee. In fact, that steam vent had the same equivelent force of the Hiroshima explosion. |
There are three major reactors, the new Chinese one, the American hybrid and the CANDU from you guessed it, Canada. The American hybrid reactor puts out 1.233354323424546756432% more than the Canadian one or a relatively miniscule amount. The Canadian CANDU reactor is nay impossible to melt-down, unfortunately the reactor isn't a really completed project. It has the capability for more and on going research will insure it is a good investment for power hungry nations. The Chinese reactor is as small as a large pick up truck and produces half as much energy as either the Canadian or American reactor. They also use less fuel and CANNOT melt down. I could dip myself into the water and let it go, and I wouldn't cause a melt down.

DK Mountain was the shizzle. Only map I got to play, but I had hella fun on it. Sure it was a little tough on me because I was never able to get the hang of how balancing characters, etc. worked. But it was still almost as fun as DK Jungle in 64. |

Let me say one thing. When you're under the influence, you know what you're doing...You may not remember it when you come out of your stupor...But you simply don't care when you're drunk. You know the old adage of the guy knockin' up the ugly girl? She didn't really take advantage of him, or the ugly fat guy (ala moi) getting it on with another drunken person...No one is being used, they both know to an extent what they are doing. But simply don't care. But this is just my drunken experience. Each individual case needs to be looked at from the point of view of an individual case and you can't group every single instance into one big clump. Baddabing, baddaboom.

666 is nothing to do with man or beast. In the ORIGINAL Revelations, not this tempered and pissed on book you see in the New International versions of today, is quite implicit on what the number of the beast lies at. It is neither man, nor beast, nor technology. It is not a date. It is an allusion towards a historical reoccurance. A rise of Babylonian ideals, sin, vice and hatred. A total lack of morals. That is why the two beasts rise from the sea and the whore of Babylon returns. If you want to argue more about this, I'll talk with my priest tomorrow and get his expert interpretation on the topic  Seeing as he has a Greek manuscript in the church.

Well, my last really lucid dream was so normal it was frightening. It was simply a day in my life and I just got to really reflect on what I was doing for an indefinite amount of time for each action. Basically, it led to a "perfect" day. It was INSANE. |

Anti-matter exists on Earth, but it is kept in near absolute zero so that it cannot react with matter. Unfortunately, it is in such trace amounts that our knowledge of how it would react to exposition to a large amount of matter...Well theoretical physics is just that...Theoretical. |
The future is in renewable and sustainable power. It takes a lot more space, but if done properly it can be quite rewarding.
