With a little brain power, pop ups, spyware, and other extraterrestrial programs can be elimiated.

Downloading spybot helped a lot with mine, and then I got zonealarm as a firewall. I haven't had a spyware/adware problem since.

I don't consider sex a great barrier of a person's life. Labels such as virginity are pointless. Sex is the insertion of the penis into the vagina, primarily for reproductive purposes. Oh, and it feels really good.

Yeah. I think that pretty much covered it.

Why make "first times" so important? They're not, really. The fact that something is a first time is only so important as what the process in question contains within signifigance to the first time. Usually the "first time" is nothing more than a romantic label over-stressed in our culture.

I had one of their songs on my computer not too long ago, though I don't remember the name.

Although I haven't the motivation to find any proof of them not being the "most popular underground band," but If I did, I would argue Modest Mouse.

You certainly will, but it's only special to you. Nobody else.

I don't remember the first time I've done any of the things you've listed. Thinking hard about it, I don't remember the first time I've done many things.

Of course, I'd be an idiot to consider my situation general enough to supply argument.

I am simply encouraging a more objective look at what a first time an experience logically/concretely entails. And usually, it is not much. For the female in sex, the first time signifies a breakage of the vaginal wall- however it should be noted that given enough time this wall will rebuild itself.

"First time" is mostly, like I said, a concept too highly cherished in our culture. Holding illogical importance in it is pointless, and sometimes even deleterious. Some people hold the first relationship they've had with a girl to be the one to judge all others on. What if the girl was a bitch, or controlling, or jealous? Holding that relationship in high regard for the simple fact that she was a "first" will have obvious implications in future relationships that needn't be there for any logical reason.

I understand that humans tend to remember the first time. Humans also tend to get in fights over highway traffic. My point is we don't have to, and in these two cases, should not.

If instead you'd have given me the benefit of doubt, you'd have realized I was challenging your superiority complex by pointing out how embryonic we still are.

A set of words without explanation do next to nothing to connotate an idea in an argument.

I thought they were just a novelty thing when I saw the video for "I Believe in a Thing Called Love", but their album is definitely one worth getting. Awesome music...great vocal melodies... I love it.

Rock on. The Darkness rock the socks in that uber 80's way.

Other Rock Bands that tickle me goodly:

At The Drive In
Mars Volta
Desaparecidos (A Bright Eyes spin-off, I believe. But more rock than indie)
Drive Like Jehu
THE PILLOWS OMG YEAH
Fugazi
Zeppelin
Pink Floyd
Nirvana
Fleetwood Mac
The Beetles
Peal Jam
Stone Temple Pilots
Silverchair

Step one:

It's not bullshit,

Step two:

There's nothing cryptic about it.

Step three:

You shut the fuck up.

I was retorting you, that's all. I added a little wit at the end to satisfy my testosterone. Maybe you just don't like me.

I don't want to get into a situation of insult after insult with you. It's pointless- we're probably too far away from each other to allow it to reach a physical climax to settle a pissing match anyway.

I used to be a Catholic, not a very devout one throughout my life, but I achnowledged the beliefs and held faith in them. Some time around senior year of High School I started deconstructing my faith. Nowadays I can't decide if I'm athiest or not. Some days I believe in a deity, other -more concrete- days I tend to become more nihilistic. Active nihilism, with a touch of romanticism, I would say today.

You know there's a ton of people in IRC waiting for you to respond. You were in online users for a while. No doubt you triple checked your post to make sure it sounded sophisticated, a change from your prior "Likewise". Then again, the added time could've been from the time you took to masturbate to that.

Bob came in the room to talk about his girlfiend who wants to go on a break, I was eating a turkey and cheese on rye, and then I threw it into the trash can. I probably looked over the post a couple of times. If you want to fuck around in an IRC chat, then go ahead. I'm sure if masturbation is on your mind, you could use a circle jerk.

You mean you truly believe in God or you refer to him? I find myself talking about God sometimes, but I don't actually believe.

I wonder of a God's existance, but to say I believe in any sure form of "body" of a God would be going to far. I may argue at times that God is a sort of meta objective consciousness of the universe, much like our own consciousness. I'd base the idea around the Chaos theory, most likely.

Every now and then I may argue with him. One night I stayed up ("still believing") and cursed God out. I could have sworn I seen a face above me. I wrote a blog entry on it awhile ago here. http://universalmind.diary-x.com/journal.cgi?entry=20031206

...In case you're wondering, while writing this entry I did decide to masturbate, take a shit, delete and rewrite it, bring it to a professor on campus to have it better revised, then flew in my rocket ship up to GOD INC and had tea with Jesus Christ and Buddha.

'Been around for at least two years, but posted on and off. I know the boards around here well enough from lurking and AIM to know a couple people from here, as well as those who frequent here, but used to haunt the Citadel.

Toph, I actually had a funny conversation last night with someone from here after I brought you up.
