| I have 2 computers, One an iMac G3 using Safari, and the other Dell Inspiron Laptop P4 containing Firefox. I've used IE for a rather long times, way back untill I found Netscape 6, and that's when I left IE. Than, when I found Mozilla (Hm... dunno what version), I switched to that. When I found out it was nothing but Netscape with a pretty startup screen. So back to Netscape I went. I used it untill Netscape 7, when my computer crashed. Re installing Windows ME I went, COMPLETLY forgetting to install Netscape. So I used IE. For maybe more than 7 months, when I got my Dell, and reinstalled Netscape, which was now at 7.1. Than I found Firefox. Only it was FireBird. And admitted, it was okay. So I had it as a 2nd Browser, still using Netscape as my first and favorite. Than FireFox .9 was released. That's when FireFox went golden, and awesome. And I haven't stopped using it yet. And as for my mac, I can't imagin why I would want to use FireFox over Safari, Safari's better. :-P |

| Hi there. I've been looking for an alternitive for Outlook, and of course though of Mozilla. So I download ThunderBird. But, I found it to be slow, and bulky. Do any of you have this problem? It takes it 3 minutes to get mail in it, and a miere 30 seconds in outlook. (edited by Derf on 11-15-04 08:29 PM) |

| I'm going to go on and on about this, so be ready. Move - The actors/actresses have improved greatly. It's the new Director that messed this up. First, he BUTCHERS the book by adding in extra crap, cutting out GOOD stuff (The 3 Quiddich Scenes, not one short one >.<) Also, Dementors CAN'T FLY. They hover a TINY BIT off the ground. On another note, in the begining of the movie, you see Harry under the blankets. What is he doing? MAGIC. Students aren't aloud to use magic out of school, that, right there, would pretty much get him in trouble. I DO love the new robes though, but, I have a littly nity picky about that. If they are to get new robes before their first year starts, how do they know whether to buy Gryf., Sly., Huf., or Rav.? They'd have to either take a guessing game, or buy 5 robes, 1 pair for the first couple minutes of Hogwarts before they get sorted, and 4 after. They'd have to buy all house robes. If it was the normal robes, like the first 2 movies, they probably GAVE them a patch to patch on the robes after their sorted. And is it me or is the script... mmm... a little cornier than the books? DVD Extras - Their alright, not the best, not the worst... Total Rating: 5/10 |

| Well, I personally don't know WHAT to use on this PC. Outlook Express is pretty good, but tends to crash. So I took a look at the crud for me to compair. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Outlook Express  /b]An actually not bad Microsoft Product. Had some problems with AIM in SP1, especially when Outlook Express was set as defult, but it was all fixed in SP2. It has a pretty fast Startup. It's theme isn't very attractive... It's ONLY disadvantege that concerns me is it's lack of customizing, and it tends to freeze sometimes. RATING /b] 8/10-------------------------------- Mozilla Thunderbird 1.0 /b]I'm actually having trouble with Version One. It keeps saying that my SMPT Server isn't right or something, but it took all of my settings right out of Outlook. It says this for all 3 of my accounts, Gawab, MyRealBox, and Gmail. It's defult theme is VERY attractive. It also has GREAT startup speed. Outlook's got the preformence, Thunderbird's got the looks. RATING /b] 5/10, for now. May change if I find a way to fix this. . .--------------------------------- FoxMail 5.0.800 An awesome Email Cilent. It's startup speed is about the same speed of Outlook Express', and it's theme is eye catching and attractive. It didn't have the automatic Outlook Express account setting transfer like Thunderbird does (But than again, that didn't work, did it?), I'm not sure if I like that little window at the top of the computer screen that flashes news and the number of new messages. It's really quite annoying typing something (like now for example) and see this text flashing across the screen. But, of course, you can chose to hide that. It's got a GREAT AntiSpam option. RATING /b] 9.5/10.--------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well, if your not busy or not stuck with Outlook, give FoxMail a try. It's the overall best in performence AND looks. |
