This is sounding quite a bit out of my range. I really shouldn't tackle a project like this just yet. But I actually don't think the kill routine is hardcoded; Mario World Reconfigurer makes it seem like all sprites adhere to a pretty strict template. Well, almost all sprites, then there are ones like chuck or the keyhole that run quite a bit differently. But most of them seem to die using the same old "Poof" and "Fall off screen" routine. |

I don't think it would look terribly weird as long as it's got the earthquake effect to back it up. Besides, Some sprites such as the ball 'n chain or the platform don't have death effects, and UD wants those gone as well. This seems plausable and I understand ASM well enough to do this, so I'll go ahead and work on this one. But you guys know ASM far better than I, so it would probably end up better if one of you guys did it. |

Those numbers are awesome. I mean it. Definately the best status bar numbers I have ever seen in SMW. And you did the same with "TIME". I think you should do the same shadow thing you did with the numbers to "Mario", though. | |||

How dare you steal my data! You never would have thought of Mario vs. Donkey Kong if I hadn't brought it up! Jerk. And as for shyguy, Flash isn't canon. And in M & L Mario was hit like a damn golf ball at an enemy and he didn't seem to be too angry. He also didn't seem to lose any HP, so whatever. That, and has Bowser actually killed anybody? I mean, the worst he's ever done is turn somebody into a block in SMB1. |

The MARIO looks fine to me. Now it matches. I think the fonts here are better than any other SMW hack I know of. | |||

Blocks don't 'disappear', they just turn from whatever block they are to "25", the blank block. And even then I think the tiles that make up the block have to be changed. | |||

That title screen is really good looking. The rips are good, but the title is original and few really manage to do something that looks like that on layer 3. | |||

Tox Boxes are awesome. And I think that's their real name-- there was a minigame in SM64DS where Yoshi was under some Tox Boxes and I think they had them by that name. | |||

You might not even need to trace it - Mario World Reconfigurer can tell you where each sprite's ASM pointer is. I think. I still haven't figured out how to translate the pointer into a hex offset. | |||

I used to lock my hacks. It took me a while to figure out how stupid that is. You're taking something that doesn't belong to you, editing it, and then wasting your time copying and locking it to make it slightly harder for people to edit your work, which doesn't belong to them. And now that RLM is out, the lock won't even really keep people out. | |||

C'mon, you guys. The layout isn't that good. What he does have is nice but it's really plain looking (dammit, frosting puns are contagious) and the walk-through cake wall is the same color as the rest. I think the walk-through walls should be lighter than the rest. And the cake walls should have something like Yoshi's cookie style cookies or.. I don't know, something rather than that bland bumpy pattern thoughout the entire level. |

I think that the cake would look better if it were either a lighter or darker color. Because right now it's too light to look like a real chocolate cake and it's too dark to be one of those plain cakes. | |||
