The "late"est cd from rapper Kanye West, and I must say that I'm impressed |
There are many standout tracks, those are the facts Gold Digger is plain catchy, and Diamonds From the Sierra Leone pushes a serious point Overall, this effort by Kanye doesn't disappoint All rhyming aside, I wasn't sure what to expect, considering Kanye is smack dab in the middle of mainstream rap, something I'm wary of (see Cent, 50 and whatever else is "crunk" at the moment). There are one or two tracks which I didn't catch the name of first time around I listened to that were kinda iffy, but overall I enjoyed this cd. 8.5/10

Here's the story: we used to have a ton of Oak trees in the front of our school, so we were as "tough as Oakers." Cue the irony. They ripped out the trees to make way for a parking lot, so now Oaker refers to a baby elephant.

I can kinda play 9mm & A Three Piece Suit on my tuba even though it's a trumpet part. So by default it's my favorite to play (although I tried the same approach for Sick and Sad, but it didn't work). |

There was like a 7 day period where I would download 2 episodes a day (in the past month), but I got sick of it and couldn't finish season 1. |

Jack, Locke and Kate learn more secrets about the hatch. Meanwhile, after being beaten and taken captive, Sawyer, Michael and Jin wonder if their captors are fellow survivors or the dreaded "Others." Flashbacks reveals more of Locke's past in this episode as well as the introduction of Helen (guest star Katey Sagal) who shakes things up even more with her revealing personality and past. Other guest stars include: Robert Patrick (Hibbs) and Kevin Tighe (Cooper). the synopsis for this weeks episode. I have to admit that I am completely psyched for this. The questions are mounting, and there has to be some answers this week. Obviously the Others will get attention, but I'm hoping that a little light gets shed on Desmond. (restricted) |
