This is the best I was able to do, after about 10 tries:

If, for whatever reason you can't see the picture, I got 799.50M <img src=images/smilies/tongue.gif align=absmiddle>

I had a couple times where I'd land on a speed up person the first 3 or 4 times I came down Quite an addicting game here I'll try to get a higher distance, and if I do, I'll post it in this thread obviously

Sendy's come back, but he just hasn't posted in a while since that time If you want to know what I'm talking about, read this thread, unless of course you knew about that already

At any rate, take it easy, BMF, and hopefully we see you back soon When it comes to the two new moderators, I'm sure they'll do the best job they can. Good luck to the both of you

I can't say I really make the effort to keep track of your hacks, or anyone's for that matter I just comment on and play them as I see them, but it's definitely a letdown whenever I hear that a hack's been cancelled

There's no bad problems I noticed in those screenshots. The first one looks pretty good, but I have to ask; are you able to climb those green hanging things? That's just what I thought it looked like, but I may be wrong. The sidewalk in the second screenshot looks especially good, considering that you wanted to make it look 3-D The only thing I'd have to complain about in that screenshot is the hole in the sidewalk. It'd probably look better if you removed more of the sidewalk on the left and right hand side of the hole, so it fits in right with the rest of the sidewalk. I have a feeling that's more confusing than it needs to be, so hopefully you understand this: the sidewalk right now is a parallellogram in shape. I think it'd look better if you made the hole the same shape as well It's one of those things where, if you have the knowledge to know how to change it, it'd be in your best interests to do so.

Once again about cancelling your other hack, who knows. If you stopped development on this hack a while back, then started on a new one and got bored of it, then decided to work on your old one again, maybe you'll eventually want to pick up Not So Mario World sometime in the future once more

For the music question, if you just want to change to to a different song that's already in the game, I assume using the 'Bypass Music and Time Limit Setting' dialog box would work. Make sure you open level C7, then click the button with the note block on it, and look in the dropdown box for the song you want.

As for moving levels around on the overworld, make sure you're in Layer 1 16x16 Editor mode (the first Ghost House button), click on a level tile, then drag it to where you want it. At least I think that's what you're asking. If you want to know something else, go ahead and ask it

I can see why you chose that as a thread title The guy in the picture on that page looks quite evil as well I feel more sorry for the people that weren't in prison and got tattoos from him, as they most likely had to pay Not that the people in prison might not've had to, but there's a better chance there that they could get it for free. At least that's what I think

He's going to get what he deserves when he eventually gets out of jail, provided his victims can find him. The only thing that really makes me wonder is the last paragraph. How much worse can you really do than that? There probably are plenty of things, but I can't think of any right now.

It's always good to get more new members, so I don't see why anyone wouldn't want to welcome you here What sorts of videogames do you like? I ask because that seems to be one of the main reasons you joined this board, but you never mentioned that I'm not saying that you have to, but just if you want

Welcome to the board, and hopefully you're able to have a fun time around here

The first time I know it was mentioned was here by both Zem and myself. Last I knew, Jesper was aware of this, and was working on fixing it, but that would probably have to be almost a month ago now I don't know if it's presenting that much of a problem for him or not, but whatever the situation, hopefully it gets fixed soon

The thing I find odd is that editing your post once will add a new lines in your signature between the rest of the stuff you have there, but if you edit the post a second time, there won't be any br tags at all

Oh, and while I'm still writing this post, maybe someone could be so kind as to tell me how I'm supposed to get the angled brackets to show in my post when I try to type an HTML tag but actually want it to show in my post. I've used & lt; and & gt; before, but when I click 'Preview reply' it autmatically changes them into those brackets

Wow. A new member that actually types a detailed introduction post That's been somewhat of a rarity lately Reading over the things you say you like makes me think you'll have a good time here, so don't hesitate to start posting

The only thing I'd point out in your signature is the 'Honk if you Spam' picture It's pretty big, but then again, most of it is transparent, so that may change things a bit. I'd advise waiting to see what a majority of the people that comment on it say.

Welcome to the board. Have a good time and enjoy yourself here

I finally was shown how to use the 'special' people you can hit by my brother yesterday I hit them before, but I always thought you had to press 'x' on the keyboard, as it shows that letter behind the other stuff After I was educated on that part of the game, I managed to get a score right around Nebetsu's most recent one, although I can't post the picture right now, as I'm busy stamping envelopes

I'm using it right now, and I have been since about a month ago since I enabled it It may be designed for LCD screens, but I notice a difference on it here as well. All the text I see is smoother, and even more readable, but that's probably just me I can't say it gives me a headache either

I guess it's just one of those things that some people like and others don't

I didn't even realize 'GFW' got posted It's too late to make a guess at that one now, so here's what I'm going to use for 'RWAWT'

Ralph, What are Wheat Thins?

I don't know how many of you know what wheat thins are, but if you don't they're, as the name sort of implies, thin wheat crackers

Given that, I have a question of my own to ask. Since there is no item box, are you going to have to basically go through the game without getting hit at all, or will there still be mushrooms or something that acts like them for you to be able to pick up?

I figure if there will still be powerups in the game, you could have the Ninji turn a different color depending on whether you had 'firepower' or were 'big', etc. Of course, you wouldn't actually become big, and instead, as I already said, change color. Either that or you would stay the same color and just be able to take a greater amount of hits

Other than that, those screenshots do look pretty nice, and it makes me wonder what the game's going to be like Nice work on those so far

No, as a matter of fact is hasn't I'm sure when he eventually releases it, this board will be one of the first places he announces that, so just be patient There are other threads about this same question down a bit that you might've wanted to take a look at first, but I'll leave it at that.

I believe it may be something depending on the font as well. I say that because I still see a difference on my desktop icons' text and the like depending on which mode I'm in Here's a picture I just made with Notepad, the ALT+Print Screen combination, and Paint:

Both were typed in the same size font as well

I can't say I remember seeing too much vandalism when I was in college, although most people there are old enough that they know better.

As for high school, the worst I've seen is people drawing on the walls with pens or pencils (that has to be fairly common at pretty much any school). Also, they didn't quite fall under vandalism, but some people took to getting a ball of toilet paper or paper towels, getting it wet, and holding it up under the faucet so it would get stuck there As well, two of the three bathrooms there were also victim to people repeatedly pressing the soap dispensing thing, so a bunch of it would collect on the counter and make a mess for the janitor Not that I encourage vandalism or anything, but that was sort of funny.

Finally, I can't remember hardly anything that happened back in the public school bathrooms that would be considered vandalism, except for one thing. Kids would go in, do what they needed to, and before leaving, grab a ball of paper towels or toilet paper, get it wet in the sink, and throw it at the ceiling, thus causing it to stick there until the janitor picked them off. I'd estimate that, by the end of the day, there would be anywhere up to 20 on the ceiling

I don't know if it's what Kitten Yiffer's talking about, but I used to do sort of the same thing back when I was in public school. I'd go into the bathroom because I needed to, finish up, and decide that I wanted to get a drink of water before I left, so I turned the sink on, and cupped my hands under the faucet and drank what water I managed to keep in my hands, which, on a side note was very little I probably got more air than water

I guess if the sink had a plug in it, or some other sort of thing that kept the water from draining you could drink from it that way, and it makes sense then why you wouldn't want to do so when you thought of people peeing in them

That's my guess though. I'm sure Kitten Yiffer can tell us exactly what he means
