I prefer the Megaman Battle Network series over other Megaman games, but this still looks pretty interesting I played one of these games before, although only for a minute or so, as I was trying to get something working for my brother

I obviously don't own any of those games, but I want that one now that I read the page linked to

Yet another thing to add to my list of stuff I want to eventually buy

Posted on 02-06-05 02:29 AM, in Pipes? I'm confused Link
I'll put it in steps so it's easy to understand (hopefully):

1) Place a pipe on the screen. This can be done through the 'Add Objects' window. Make sure the pipe you select is one with '...with exit enabled.'
2) Find the screen the pipe is on. To do that, click the transparent (light blue) door button on the toolbar at the top of the screen.
3) Open the 'Add/Modify/Delete Screen Exits' box, by clicking the door button to the right of the one with the berry on it.
4) In the drop down list, select the screen number you placed the pipe on, that you found in step 2.
5) Finally, in the bottom box, type the level number you want the pipe to exit to.

Hopefully that's easy enough to understand

I don't want to go off-topic, but this is the first place I thought of to mention this, since I don't want to create a new thread. I won't be on here to much anymore, as I've just been informed by my Dad that we have to get rid of the internet, since we can't afford it anymore

I can still use it when I go to volunteering, but other than that, unless it gets hooked up again sometime in the future, that'll be my only option. Avoiding getting too dramatic, I'll just say you may notice I'm not on here except from Tuesday to Thursday, just so you know in advance.

Hopefully it doesn't take too long for you to get back into the swing of things since you're new here. Welcome to the board, and have a fun second time around

I haven't received the IPS yet, unless you haven't gotten around to sending it to everyone I got a .smc from 'dreid@sc.rr.com' though. Is that the same thing you got Kyouji?

About the name of your hack now. If you haven't already decided on one, is there any specific theme to it? For example, you could have one in which all the levels are caves, and call it 'Mario's Cave Exploration' or something. That's just an example though

I need an option for 'Used to, but don't now' If that isn't already self-explanatory, I used to use it, but I started noticing I was opening it less and less frequently, and finally stopped with it completely.

I also went to the trouble of finding some way to uninstall Windows Messenger (it came preinstalled on this computer), to free up the bit of space it was using. I still communicate electronically through boards such as this one, and by email, but I don't use any instant-messenger programs

Overall though, my vote would be for 'Nay'. There's certainly better things out there that can do pretty much the same thing

I chew on the left side of my mouth most of the time. I'm left-handed, so maybe that makes a difference. I'm not sure though I will switch sides of I happen to bite the inside of my cheek by accident , or if something's happened with the other side of my mouth, but besides that, most of the time I chew with my left

I've still yet to get your patch I have my Junk Mail and other folders cleared of new messages, so I'll notice if a new one comes in. Just to make sure you're sending it to the right address, you can use either of these:

karadur_77@hotmail.com (my primary email)
Karadur@dragons-mail.com (my spam-filled account that I rarely check anymore)

I'm logged in to both right now though

I don't know what's with the hack that screenshots have been posted of, but there's a bit of a weird thing in the email. This is the full text of it:

".hey u can check this out it has exactly super mario bros.3 worlds inside the overworld.if u like it just email me at davallr@yahoo.com. ok i hope u like it.have fun!

It says to email 'davallr@yahoo.com', while the email itself came from 'dreid@sc.rr.com', and even more weird, the subject line is 'from davallr@yahoo.com'!

I got the email, with the attachment called 'SMW_TS.ips', like you said, which is good, but now I've run into another problem. I put a copy of my unmodified SMW ROM on my desktop, applied the patch to it, and tried running it in ZSNES to make sure it would work. It didn't.

I tried deleting that copy and opening another one in Lunar Magic, then saving it so the ROM would be expanded. I applied the patch again, and like the first time, the game still didn't work

I'm not trying to only complain, so I hope you don't think I am

Did you use Lunar Expand on the ROM you have before you started editing it in Lunar Magic at all? Unless something's wrong with the patch, or you did expand it, I don't know what's making it screw up.

Does it work for anyone else?

Posted on 02-07-05 11:15 PM, in How do you sleep? Link
I sleep on my side. Sometimes I turn so that my face is pressed right into my pillow, but that hasn't happened too often that I know of Another thing with me sleeping is that, although I can get along without it, I almost always have my ceiling fan, and another normal one (i.e. with the circular metal grate thing covering the blades, and it can turn) turned on. Even during the winter, I have at least one fan on

I turn on the radio before I go to bed each night, and I leave it on even when I'm sleeping. I've had a few odd experiences with that, where I've been out like a light, couldn't hear a thing and then would suddenly wake up as soon as a song started playing on the radio that I liked

I have two heavy blankets that are for the beds in my bedroom (I've got a bunk bed, which was purchased back when I used to have a lot of sleepovers with my friends ). During the Winter, I use both, while in the summer, it all depends on what it's like outside.

As for sleep, it varies as to how, but I have to be cuddling something. Usually I sleep curled around my bear completely covered, minus a hole around my nose and mouth for fresh air. Otherwise, I'll lay on my stomach. I can't sleep with out my bear and my blanket though. They're both comming with me to college, unraveled or not.

I do something sort of like what you do with your bear, although I don't have one I tuck the blankets up over my head, so there's just enough room that I can still see the rest of my room, and so I can breathe fresh air. According to my parents, I did that back when I was a kid, and I've kept it up 'till now

Finally, I can't remember how long now I've gone to sleep with nothing on

Windows XP Home is running on this computer. I'd like to try a new OS sometime in the future, but that would require me getting my own computer, as this one is my Dad's, and he wouldn't take too kindly to me doing stuff he doesn't know about I haven't had any computer-breaking problems with the OS, although there are some small things that I don't like about it.

We had Windows 98 SE on our old computer. There are some good memories I have of using that, but I wouldn't want to go back to it

I started using Firebird almost a year ago, and now I use Firefox here at home for most of my web browsing. I'll still use Internet Explorer in the case of a page not loading properly in Firefox, or similar, but primarily, Firefox works for me, and everyone else that uses this computer uses it as well

It's always good to give some info on yourself in your introduction post; it gives us something to comment on, so we won't just be pretty much saying 'Welcome to the board'

I like RPGs as well, but just playing the games. You most likely won't see me roleplaying or anything else like that, but I can guarantee there's other people here that do There's definitely a good number of people who like playing the guitar here as well, so hopefully you're able to jump right into those sorts of discussions.

The game you're making sounds pretty interesting. I played the SNES Harvest Moon a while back, and I liked it. Looking forward to hearing more about it

Anyways, I'll finish by saying welcome to the board, and I hope you have fun here

I forgot to mention a couple things in my first post in this thread.

First off, I imagine it happens to a good number of you as well, but I prefer to have my head on a cold spot on my pillow than have it where it's warm. I've had something happen a couple times, where I'd partially wake up at some early hour of the morning, shift my head to a colder spot on my pillow, and I'd almost instantly fall back asleep

The second thing is, 99% of the time, I'll have one arm / hand under my pillow. If my head's facing to the right, it'll be my left arm, and if I'm looking to the left, it'll be my right I find it more comfortable that way, and I've woken up a couple mornings to find that I couldn't feel my arm at all, or rather, just a dull feeling. I guess I slept on my arm so long, that it cut off the blood flow to it I could lift it up and move it around with my other hand and all, but if I tried to move it on it's own, I couldn't After a couple minutes it was back to normal, thankfully

I don't think I've forgotten anything else, but if I did, I'll put it in another reply.

I only use Firefox here. I tried Sunbird last night actually, but Rainlendar does practically the same stuff I'd have used it for, and it's more lightweight, so I uninstalled it

I also tried Thunderbird a while back, but I didn't have any real need for a program to manage my emails (and I'd installed it on one of the college computers anyways ), so I removed it as well.

In short, I've tried Thunderbird and Sunbird in the past, and I use Firefox daily

I could be sure I heard that song somewhere before I can't remember where though.

Anyways, the song itself I like. The movie's alright, but I really don't see what's so scary about it though Maybe that could be attributed to the fact that the person in the movie looks like someone I know in real life

It's good for a laugh althogether
