| the deleting the user part would be pretty simple, but making it so anything posted by that user, his name is only text, and no link, well, that could be a little trickier, you would have to delete everything in the database about the user, except the username...but actually, let me go try something. | |||

| I wouldnt mind helping a little, but not right now, ive been reading some nes docs and am understanding a lot of it, so when I do learn some more of it, I could help a little...not sure when, but ill let you know. it would be really cool, to get more people interested in this, and disassemble alot of roms, so they could be edited that way, and reassembled, this way it would be really easy if you knew alot of asm to make really cool hacks. | im not doing anything yet, im just trying to learn more about the nes, and I was curious about what those 2 unknown scanlines were, so I thought I would ask, though the reason im doing this is so I can learn some 6502 asm, which I never had a chance to do before. another quick question, I got quite a few docs from nesdev, how complete are they? like how much of the info is correct, since you pointed out a couple things in that doc that wasnt, and I dont really wanna learn something that isnt right. |

| Thanks for all the extra info, and those links, ive seen a few before, but not the mapper one, which is helpful, I remember reading the CPU is NMOS in the nes tech doc, and yeah I was reading about the D flag, which sounded weird, but I understand it now, thanks, also thanks for that other link dan. Edit: ok, quick Question, i was looking at the 6502 Instructions, and I understand alot of them...but im not quite I understand where/why PHA would be used, I know it pushes a copy of the accumulator to the stack, but what exactly would this accomplish in a game? | That is true, but even if some think its a bad idea, there are always people who will like it, so asking for input before doing it is not the best idea to begin with, no matter what the idea, there will always be people who hate it...thats one of the reasons why most people stop hacks either before, or while they are doing it, someone says they hate it, and they take it personally... Good luck with it though,  just thought I would point that out.What would be a good idea, is to post some more info, if there is any, or when you get a level done, post some screens of it. you may get more of a reply with that. | no, it wont make all blocks that act like 130 do that...when you set it to act like a block, you arent making it that block, your basically telling it to act like a certain block, so it will do what its supposed to, and not affect any other 130 blocks. | |||

| im afraid I have to agree. maybe if it was actually done right, it might be fun to some extent, but those 3 screens provide more then enough info to come to a conclusion that this really sucks. floating hats, crap pikachu's, and the same levels/overworld.
