| ok, I have decided I might format my pc, because I havent found the mouse/keyboard problem I have been having, but there is one problem, i dont have an XP disc, cause I got this computer used from a friend, and he didnt have it....so if I formatted, i would need to install 98SE, but the drivers this pc uses has no 98 drivers that I could find, anywhere, so does anyone know if XP drivers will work on a 98SE?, or which drivers I will need before I format? | |||

| actually, I found there drivers and such, and filtered for Win98SE, and only drivers, but gave me nothing, so does that mean there are no drivers for it for 98SE? edit:also, there are only 9 drivers on the site for my specific model, and most are for modem, which I dont need, one video driver, for win2000, a Bios driver, which is for all OS's, and a sound driver. ok, I was playing around with some asm routines for smb3, trying to change some of the water routines, and i accidently did this...even though it has nothing to do with the water the bad thing is, everything is frozen, cant move or anything, else i would have tried to jump on mushrrom guy. edit: btw, this is what i changed $BE9F:8D 75 05 STA $0575 = #$00 and I changed it to a NOP (edited by Dcahrakos on 09-25-04 03:51 PM) (edited by Dcahrakos on 09-25-04 03:51 PM) |

| I know, I was just saying how it was weird, because that has nothing to do with water..I did manage to fix it, and also, I made it so once you go into water, and come back out, the whole level acts like a water level now. | |||

| I deleted my other post, so I could bump the thread, but I believe I have found the problem...and I think it was spyware, cause yesterday, I downloaded spyware doctor(which I recommend for anyone) and it picked up about 30 that adaware and spybot didnt, and after I scanned, I rebooted, and my mouse still works now, and before it use to mess up everytime I restarted the pc....so it just might be fixed.... | |||

| I am gonna be an archer...its almost done downloading for me, since I couldnt get it last night, but its been downloading for 20 mins now, and theres about 10 left. edit: well, I have it, but when I try to patch it, it gets to the part where it says building data.wx, and it says maplestory.exe is corrupt... edit2: I ever redownloaded, and reinstalled, still get the corrupt error....anyone else get the error?
