Just wondering... could you elaborate a bit on what you're wanting to do? Are you just figuring out which one to buy, or planning on hacking one of them, or just making friendly conversation?

Although I have loved nintendo games since I was two-years-old, I've come to realize that Nintendo is very greedy when it comes to "getting the most out of their work". How many times can you rererelease the same games, without putting forth the creative effort to make new levels, or create a new experience. Okay, I'm through ranting again.

I'm not going to say anything to sway the voting. Go at it.

Well, now that Cornellius has replied I'll go ahead and vote. Comparing all of SG-1 with Atlantis, I have to say that SG-1 would win. Comparing the current seasons however, I have decided to give my vote to Atlantis. Atlantis is just more interesting to me now, and I kept feeling like this SG-1 season was "holding back" or something. I hope they haven't run out of ideas . Maybe it'll get more exciting next time around, but I feel like they'll have to get more drastic somehow.

Oh, forgot about that one -- that gets number one spot in my list now because it's a new game. I like the old Donkey Kong for GB pretty good too. You're probably not interested in that though.

Jumping into this game...

Grey took my guess , but I have a question down another path.
Were the "states" the ball traveled through actually United States?

If Grey's not right I don't know where else to go with it yet.

Well anyway, if we had more that two candidates that might actually be elected, there might be a better candidate to choose from. I don't think two sizes fit all.

Hmm... Well, a burger and fries are usually fast-food, while toast usually isn't. In that case, toast is the odd one out. Am I right?

I'll assume the answer to my last question was yes...

Okay, this question may help us all, if nobody's gotten it yet:
Did this occur at the "four corners" in the United States?

Riddle number five was solved by APH Striker!
Riddle number six was solved by Heian-794!

Alright.

I've decided to implement a "point system" into this riddle thread.
To be fair, all past riddles will count as 2 points, while future riddles may vary in their worth.
(Anyone who has made a guess will be ranked on the list.)

CURRENT STANDINGS

6 pts Heian-794
2 pts APH Striker
2 pts MorbidMolly
2 pts Smallhacker
2 pts Timmy Turner
0 pts Gavin
0 pts Kario
0 pts Kirby ATW
0 pts NSNick

Riddle number seven:

People who have it don't tell. People who get it don't know. People who find out they have it don't want it.

What is it? 2 pts

Riddle number eight:

You were given two bottles of pills, one labeled "Bottle A" and one labeled "Bottle B". The pills in these bottles are identical, except that if you take the wrong amount of either one you will die. You must take one of each pill each day, and no extra, or you will die. You already have a pill from bottle A in your hand, but when you try to get a pill from bottle B, two B pills spill out into your hand with the A pill and you lose track of which pills are which. You can't just throw the three pills away and get new ones because you have to take every last one eventually. You can't afford to get more.

What can you do? 4 pts

Darn...I wish I could use that Mario Golf hint, but I've barely played it.

Okay, here comes a guess:
At the four corners, the ball travelled through two states, bounced off of something at an angle, and then went through the other two states off of that bounce. Maybe?

The only noticeable effects are that if you take the right amount of both, you don't die. (Also, you can't test them on anything else, because you eventually have to take every last pill.)

Number 8 does require a bit of abstract thought, but if I told you what you have to infer it would probably make it too easy! That's why it's worth 4 points.

I've had pink lemonade (I'm in the U.S.), but I don't know whether it was strawberry flavored or just had pink food-coloring in it. Whatever I had was called pink lemonade though.

I hate Vanilla Coke too.
That awful vanilla aftertaste... ... makes me sick just thinking about it.

Sorry RYjet911, you didn't get one.

On number seven:
It isn't cancer.

On number eight:
The answer doesn't require more pills to be bought... or stolen... or borrowed...
That's not where you need to go with that one. Use the stuff you already have.

Let's just say that if your answer requires you to start to die, you don't have the right answer.

edit: There is no testing of the pills involved. Taking the correct amount is a one-shot thing.
edit2: Just a note that I slightly edited the wording of riddle number eight as of this post.

2) Like NSNick said, the men were father and son-in-law, and the women were the father's wife and daughter. Instead of the daughter being pregnant though, the grand-daughter is being carried by one of the women.

3) They were tropical storms or hurricanes.

Riddle number ten:

Tony bets Ransdell a week's salary that he can drink two large mugs full of beer before Ransdell can drink one small shot glass full. The conditions are that neither man can touch or move the other one's mugs/glass, and Ransdell can't start drinking from his shot glass until Tony finishes his first mug and sits it on the table. Since Ransdell is the faster drinker, and he appears to have a clear advantage in the contest, he happily accepts the wager. After the men complete this contest however, Ransdell owes Tony a week's salary.

How did this happen? 3 pts

Now... who can figure these out?
