Not particularly. When I worked for the ITN news company for my work experience I got my face on TV by working for their 24-hour side of things, every so often when a news broadcast on their 24-hour starts they show the people working in their 24-hour department before cutting to the newsroom, and I worked there for a few times. So I guess Ive been on TV around 4 times.

Right, well I must say, the Torrie sex test was pathetic. I hated it and it was a waste of time. I would have preferred some serious stuff and no shit like we got. Kissing Mae Young? Damn. Though it seems Puder is multi-talented.

Tonight SD was hot, better than RAW. Its not been quite as bad as I thought wrestling would be lately, what with all the cuts. The Batista angle on RAW looks promising... and shaping up for a Triple H team win, against all odds. On SD we had the intriguing angles of who would be in Eddie's team and also who Chavo's "friend" was, not to mention Taz getting ready to clobber Heyman. I honestly couldn't wait for that, though it was obvious Little Johnny would come out. But the way the lights went, then quickly appeared to replace Taz with UT- so cool. Everything done was great- even JBL did a good speech, and the Orlando-Josh angle was great. That backslap was extreme by Orlando...i love his cocky ways. And Carlito's bodyguard, Heyzeus (sp?) cracks me up. When you see Carlito and Heyzeus you think about hating them, but they're so funnily corny its too good not to like.

RAW was less promising, though the Edge Benoit match was quite good. Bischoff seems to have developed a little attitude, which is a nice touch after all his smarmy ways. In general, better WWE stuff than for some time, and a nice buildup to Survivor Series.

Hmmm...

-Beating final staff ghost on F-Zero X (that was around 2003... so long ago now. Now I thrash them and it doesn't feel the same.)
-Beating Super Mario World for the first time when I was 6 (around 1995).
-Playing YI for the first time... let alone beating it. Though my absolute all-time favourite gaming memory is simply getting a SNES when I was 4 and my sis was 8, we loved that console. And we got loads of games and played for ages and ages and ages... I'm on my 4th SNES now, you can't ever take them away from me. I remember playing Street Fighter a lot with my dad, i was little so my coordination skill weren't great and i found it hard to fireball. My dad always picked E.Honda and handslapped his way to victory, he was so cheap. Nowadays I win every time, but back then...

Hmm... Im on a board with people from Hong Kong (no surprise then) and Algeria. The Algerian says that he's one of only a few people he knows locally that has the Internet, and buying games is hard because Algeria gets games from Italy a few months after their usual release date, so you can assume that a gaming-based message board would not attract too many Algerians who lack in games. (And ordering games over the internet is a no-no because of the high delivery charges). Must be tough being a gamer in Algeria.

Hmm... my mum is a big fan of the CSIs, Ive only seen a few episodes myself, not my cup of tea but I see the appeal. My sister likes Cold Case too, but Im not really into crime fighting styles of show.

The Hiphopopotamus and the Rhymenocarus- Rap Battle

This is classic. Its New Zealand's 4th favourite country duo doing a rap battle using the oft-forgotten 'gangsta folk' genre, and its the funniest thing I have heard in ages. And they're not half-bad either. But so funny.

Here it is if you are interested. Hope the link works.

New editor? You mean the F-Zero Xpansion pack that came out years ago for the 64DD? Or the newer one for the iQue which I don't know much about?

Ice-skating machine on MV? You must mean the Jet Vermilion, best machine in the game. Was you ever a part of F-Zero Central, a great site with the best F-Zero players in the world, and a great message board to boot? If not, then visit MrFixitOnline's F-Zero Home Even though F-Zero Central is not around anymore, the time attack ladders, members and videos and guides were taken by www.mrfixitonline.com. Its a great place... if you want to see some truly awe-inspiring Xpansion-made F-Zero X tracks, look no further.

I'm 6'3 and 15 years old, tallest in my year at school. I usually get my mum to measure me every few months or so ('cos I'm vain like that. ) I 'only' weigh 185ilbs, so i dont look overweight or overly lanky, just right.

Eh... my problem with being tall, great as it is, is the foot size I get with it. Honestly, you'd think London would have a shop with size 13 (14 US, 48.5 EU) trainers, and only one did anything above a 12. I know foot size isnt exactly linked to height, but its still damn annoying to get rejected in a shop about 10 times in one day.

On my R-Types Collection for PS1 (Japanese) I play R-Type 1, I play to the second level, die, then start again, activate the code to choose your level, and pick level 2 again. Its now horribly screwed up and is almost a new level in itself. Its a level based after one of the later bosses and you have to navigate through an invisible path (there are certain sprites rendered invisible by the glitch so you have to go through the level without touching them). I start where I have 'beaten' this boss, and go right. I remember the path being top right and then the centre of the screen, but then afterwards I kept hitting one (I used the cheap 'press select button a lot for infinite lives' thing). After dying here, letting the game start over takes me to level 1 but it has sprites and enemies from level 2, plus lots of garbaged sprites flying through the air, some you can go through and some you cannot. I don't know if its only on R-Type Collection, or even just on my disc, but its a pretty cool glitch because its almost a new level.

Good to hear that he was arrested. I had similar problems with my dad and after a lot of rehab and stuff he now lives in his own flat where i see him every weekend. He's even now going to college at 45 doing some course on drug therapy, i know the situations are a little different but I hope you and he could possibly sort this out.

Hm... I think wrestling in general is downhill. Ive said it before, but wrestling is in a cyclical recession that it always goes through; its big and popular and then it slowly winds down and the crap comes back. Simon Dean? Viscera? JBL? The huge amount of Divas being used? If they could wrestle, fine, but they CAN'T. I hate how talent like London and, in the past, Leonardo Spanky were/are being used poorly and I can't help but wonder how the ratings might go if WWE actually gave these guys some airtime. Everyone knows that a London match is gold- so why doesnt WWE hook onto the idea? Because they are idiotic. Remember people, when ideas like the katie Vick storyline come out where Kane apparantly raped a dead person, and we then had to witness the horror of Triple H simulating sex to a corpse (if you never witnessed it, you are one lucky person), you have to realise that there are a whole load of people sitting around a table actually agreeing to this. They actually think this is what we want to see.

Ive seen an advert for a TNA PPV with Jeff Hardy on the front. They're not much better, but guys, I'd rather watch a good TNA PPV than a bad WWE one any day of the week.

Hm... haven't seen RAW yet (of course being in Britain) but ive just seen a repeat of Armageddon and have to say, after everything thats happened JBL is still champ.... Though it was expected, it still disappoints me. The Heidenreich thing was dumb beyond belief.

The TE fight was rubbish, Charlie Haas, rather than coming off cool looked stupid (he could have had EITHER Dawn Marie or Miss Jackie and he picks neither? Must have been near Rico for too long ), and the cruiserweight match, while not bad, was a little long. The RVD/Rey match was best of the night, everything else was sub-par. I honestly hope New Years Revolution (should that be Evolution?) is better, much better.

To make myself feel better, watched some New Japan (Pegasus Kid and El Samurai vs. Dean Malenko and Ultimo Dragon = heaven), ROH and CZW. CZW is crap but they do have some fun matches. Then I got depressed with an old Bret Hart shoot interview... man, he's had a bad life really, these last 6 years or so.

Does anyone here know anything about that 24/7 service from WWE? It looks decent (and thats saying something considering the amount of fKitten Yiffers Vince has had, what with XFL, WBF... only TE was any good) but it probably won't come on here in Britain.

My school is pretty fucked up. They ban hats, hoodies (because it tarnishes the image of the school, apparantly), jeans or trousers that are not darker than navy blue, denim jackets, shirts with collars, coats (you can only wear anoraks) and rings or wrist wear, plus jewellery is confined to small studs (which isn't so bad). And we have a uniform of a jumper and polo shirt with the logo on.

Whats more fucked up is this: we had a repeat offender in our school named Sonny who used to bring in an aerosol can with gas, a lighter, and he tried to set other kids on fire. Guess how long the school took to expell him?

2 1/2 years. And he did this REPEATEDLY.

Thankfully karma has decided to bite back at my school because last week it was flooded and we don't have any school now until next year.

Yes, I'm British. Are you American, and then later moved to Scotland, or were you brought up in Scotland and then moved to America? I think by what you said it's the former.

Bagpuss is a little before my time, but he's still kooky. It's hard not to like Bagpuss, really.

Only ever use emus to make F-Zero videos for the F-Zero community, since its hard to make vids from GBA games, and the F-Zero handhelds dont have a replay feature. Of course, we dont use ROMs to set our competitive times, since you could cheat easily, but to demonstrate strats and stuff we use emu. Thats about it.
