I don't have that much knowledge about the EU's state today, but in addition to what's mentioned here, the EU might change itself also because of the East-European countries which joined not too long ago. I would also vote for keeping Norway out of the EU, simply because we're already the best-working country in the world, as well as one of the richest (compared to number of people). And if we join, the flow of East-European workers will grow even bigger. They will still come here though; this year, they will start a ferry between the city I live in and Poland. |

And then you provide us with a link that doesn't work? Oh well... Edit: I think this is the site he wanted to show us. I took out the dot between "bros" and "3", and was redirected to that page. However, you can still search using google. Just type in what you want to search for, and then add "site:board.acmlm.org" (without the "s) at the end. (edited by DurfarC on 06-10-05 10:26 AM) |

They're not helpful; they're very helpful. If I get this to work, among with moving the lock blocks, I can design my world maps to look more different from the original ones. Two of the biggest mysteries in SMB3 seem to be solved. Thanks again!

It looks unfinished because Rare just left it behind, incomplete, without removing it from the cartridge. Edit: So, I played it. It looked incomplete, and had some glitches, but it was fully playable, as mentioned. I wonder why it was never finished, it turned out to be a good map. Strange theme, but there's something that makes me liking it. It's just...interesting. Seems like I'm going to use it for a loooong time. Still wondering about why you named it Tartan though. The name reminds me of when I was 13 years old or something, my friends and I used to burn tape rolls from a brand named Tartan, because they burnt well. On top of that, we did it in a pedestrian tunnel. Yeah, I'm weird. |

I've only been (registered) here for nine months, and although I'll always be the same person as I've always been, I've learned much. + My written English has improved a lot. Being an honest, I think it's good to be a second language. + I've learned HTML in no time. Since almost everyone at the board knew HTML, I decided to learn it myself. I learn stuff pretty fast. + I've got more common sense when writing at places like this. Just compare my first posts with my last ones. + I've found many ROM hacks, and also gained much help from the ROM hacking forum. ROM hacking is the reason why I came, after all. The only problem I've got after joining is that I sometimes tend to use much time here. Then again, it's not exactly a problem as long as I like it here. |

I'm sure we had a thread about this not too long ago... Anyways, I speak Norwegian, English and some German. My written English tends to be better than my spoken English. When it comes to German though, I'm best at speaking. Edit: Oh, and I prefer to spell words in British English rather than American English... Maybe it's because our very first English teacher said that we had to learn it in the traditional way... (edited by DurfarC on 06-16-05 06:55 PM) |

Are you going to turn this into a serious project? If so, you could always try to include the lock, pipe and airship data you recently found. That would be awesome.

Wisdom and courage have to change with each other. From what I've heard, the triforce looks like this (might want to check it out): . . . . . .Power Courage . . . Wisdom Oh, and yeah, it looks better than the previous one. |

So it isn't just me? I'm sure I've heard it to or three times myself too, but I have no idea when, where and why.

I don't know anything about the metal blades, but inserting different music is nearly impossible, since every game stores their music data in different ways. I made a thread about exactly the same idea last year. Mega Man 3-6 stores their music data in the same way, but Mega Man 1 and 2 doesn't.Then again, it is possible: This hack have its music rearranged.

You meant to put it up here too, Ice Man, right? My MM2 hack should be finished soon, so I guess that one can be added too.

Am I the only one who actually played the hack? I didn't play it before now though; lack of time, as always. :/ Lags, I have to say that it's a good hack you've made. Level design is good, and all the levels look pretty nice. Some spots were recogniseable from the original game, but all in all, the levels were fun to play. Your sprite edits are a nice feature, especially the lakitu, which suddenly looks quite angry. All in all, nice work, keep it up for the next release. |
