Hmmm, before I vote: What is quirks? A Norwegian with English as his second language aren't really supposed to know that.

Otherwise, I don't think new sprites is too important (because you talked about adding new stuff, right). Levels make the game, ExGFXs make the hack look different from the original game and ASM is always cool to have (not required, though).

Guess what - I didn't know it... I didn't know that a well known site like that linked to a place like this. But the board has many members after all...

Welcome to the board. Have fun and obey the rules.

Most people know that MegaFLE is an Mega Man 3/4/5 editor, so I don't think he needs to change the name. Although MegaFLE+ sounds better...

Anyways, awesome work, Matrixz, this will speed up the progress on my hacks.

First of all: Wrong forum. This should have been posted here. Secondly, you could always send him a PM or an e-mail.

Edit: Uoops, it was worse, you posted both in ROM hacking and here.

I like the background, but I don't think it matches with the ground. If you change either of them or darken the colour on the ground, everything should look fine.

Uh, JPGs tend to be small enough, and the quality isn't that poor. The hack that will be released will be the same.

I remember someone told me there's more sugar in Pepsi than Coke. I don't know if it's true, but it wouldn't surprise me if it is...

Anyways, I always go for Coke, simply because I find it better than Pepsi. There's no real reason, so I can't explaing why. It is just like that. Also, Coca Cola = The original. Nothing's better.

Looks great. I like the snow animation you made in the first pic. I suggest removing the sun though. It doesn't fit in, and is horrible compared to the rest of the level. The second pic also looks great, looks like a well made level.

Blackhole, why do you think those trees are stolen? They are almost identical to those in SMAS, aren't they?

FAQ says:
Don't: Post rom/warez links on the board. You're free to exchange links with others through private messages, but do not post them out in the open.
That's it. Also, you must have seen the description under the emulation forum; ("Everything about emulation is fine here ... except ROM requests and links to ROMs or ROM sites, that is.") it doesn't mean you can ask for them links here instead, just because that isn't written here.

Looks great, Schwa. I like the screens you put up there. The overworld is one of the best I've ever seen, not forgetting the pallette. The levels also look good, and I'm sure they are: You're one of the best level hackers out there. I hope to see the hack released in the future, I'll play this one, no matter what happens.

About the workshop and save problems on your computer: It could always be that your ROM file has turned read-only. I'm not sure if the workshop detects that, it just tries to save, and since it doesn't work, nothing happens. Also, if you haven't done it, download the latest version.

Oh, and happy birthday! A birthday thread was made for you in General Chat. It is here.

Perfect Dark. I've had much fun with Goldeneye, but even more with Perfect Dark. I don't know how many hours I've spent on that game. I love the single player campaign, there are much details, various objectives, good cinema scenes and a great story. And multiplayer: I will always remember all those days sitting and playing with 3 friends. 4 players was, and is still, so damn fun!

Okay, several misunderstandings here.

The golf stream helps in Northern Norway too. It can be cold there during the winter, but the average difference between the climate in Southern- and Northern Norway isn't that big. In 2004, the summer was hotter in the North most of the time. If the golf stream didn't exist, it would be cold in the South, and very cold in the North.

I've been near the Russian border. That was four years ago, but what I remember: There was trees and hills all the way, and very few houses. I was there in autumn 2000, and it wasn't colder there than down here (I live in the south, but I've been almost everywhere in Norway).

Everything else. Being a sparsely populated country (4.5 million people) doesn't mean that there's nothing to do here. We have everything you have in Canada, even in Northern Norway. And there is NO polar bears in Norway, Northern Norway isn't like Northern Canada. You have to visit Svalbard (an island further north up there) to see them.

Why do you say that? You have to search long to find someone with dialup around here (none of my friends have dialup), although they may have more of it in the North. Sweden doesn't have more technology than Norway, it's just the same thing.

I don't know much about the military services, but I remember there was some echonomic chaos in the Norwegian army not too long ago. Luckily, I won't get there, because my sight is "too bad", even though I see well withouth glasses too.

But still, Colleen, I suggest you buying a book about Norway. Have fun.

I don't think there are many golfers here. I don't play golf myself, but it looks fun. I've at least tried minigolf, had lots of fun with it.

Yeah, a chuck would do. A goomba would also be cool, although you would never know what your house and your garden would look like after a few days.

You must avoid SnesTool at all costs, it's just a buggy IPS patcher. Use Lunar IPS instead. It's in windows, and is very easy to use. You can find it here

I didn't know we had members from the Czech republic. Sound cool. I may visit that country this summer, as we're going south. In case you didn't know, this thread is old, and bumping an old thread is one of the things not to do, as mentioned in the FAQ. Just don't do it again, and you'll be fine.

The question answered by mileyk in part 6 is the average question in the SMW forum, so I think it was right to include it.

I said it at another place, the whole comic is just great... And funny, of course.

If you're using Snes9x, try Zsnes. Personally, I like the first one best, but for some odd reasons, the hacks don't work there. They work on Zsnes though, so you better try it. If that doesn't work either, you mus have patched the roms incorrectly.
