| I was working with my ExGFX file in Lunar magic when I enabled super bypass and put the FG3 option on my ExGFX file . when enabled it said the graphic were to big. after it said that it took one of the 2 tiles I had made which was green hill from SMB3 tiled all of the foreground on the level and messed up everything I went to the 16x16 tile editor and had little bits of pieces here and there..... I looked at the 8x8 tile editor and showed up fine except for the red backrgorund of course..... can someone please tell me what went wrong ? | |||

| I replaced the tile with 2 smaill sprites ini it, which was green hill and wooden block I saved it and I over wrote the ExGFX 90 file with the new graphics in it. also the tile size is 50 width by 48 height. I had to do alot of cropping in order for it to fit. If I shrink it anymore than that will make it get blurry and nobody won't be able to tell what the hell it is.... | |||

| I'm going to partition my hard drive to hold 2 Operating systems one will be XP home the other half of the hard drive will be either ME edition which every body wants to take gun to it. Last year I partiton my 10.2 gig hard drive to hold XP and 2000 when I installed windows 2000, it interfered with XP home and rendered my OS useless also when I added 2000 it refused to let me inside its OS interface and begin to make changes to the hard drive so that it would be the only obsolete OS to be on the hard drive until I could figure what the hell had happen. I talked to some people on a another board called the computer help club on MSN and they told me I had to be extremely carefull not to mess with windows XP drivers and and system files. little did I know that they were very serious and I'm lucky my hard drive is still working 11 months later. Is there any special advice you coulf give me before I add either one of these OS for a second shot at dual booting my hard drive ? thanks for any help you could give me. |

| I'm having a major problem when I insert a background in a rom. I've been working with hidden mario and he taught me how to insert the background pics without it messing up everything was fine when I finished adding backgrounds to yoshi's Island 1 and 2. when I beging working with yoshi island 3 or 4 I can remember which one had the water level, I inserted a background from super mario brother 2 which came from level one and I change the color to a Nighttime theme as soon as I did that the background came out fine in LM I pressed F9 in both 8x8 and 16x16 editors and I saved the level and closed LM. when I tested the game in a emulator it had messed everybackground I made in the game and corrupted it.....I open LM and the two backgrounds I put in the first two levels were chopped up and looked like garbage and it had the wrong colors in the background I did the steps that Hidden mario had taught me how to do on inserting the background but it just wouldn't work plus the rom had gotten corrupted so right now I don't have a rom to use at the moment to start over with. does anybody know how that third background had gotten messed when I put in one of yoshi's island water level ? also I got the rom from emureactor that I was previously working with. thanks MadMikeXP p.s. thanks hidden mario for helping me with inersting background into games |

| Thanks small hacker for the help when I get home later today I'll give it a try and see if that helps out.... besides the last background I used was from super mario brothers 2 and I recolored it to have tropical night theme to it, maybe I had to many colors in it..... MadMikeXP |

| I looked at your screens and I would those jokers looks pretty cool and on 2nd screen I liked that one the most where you had the big palm tree connecting to the other objects but though if I were you, I would make the background a pale orange color not a hot Intense color. As for the others and I am most definetlly impressed ! Rock on man ! MadMikeXP |

| I'm having a second problem but this time its worser... I am using a bcakground from SMB2 from the first level, I have took it and made three copy's of it each with a different color Blue Orange and purple. when I inserted the backgrounds they were all working and showed up correctly but I tested them in ZSNES two out of three backgrounds came out screwed up and had a different color and solarized ! Do I need to put the backgrounds on different map16 pages or put it somewhere different like on every 2 levels say like Yoshi's Island 1 skip the level 2 and move it onto level 3 or later ? thanks MadMikeXP |

| I put the background on seperate Map16 pages and it still screws up for some strange reason...... also I am using Super Mario World (U) rom and SMAS & wolrd rom (U) and I'm still having problems with the backgrounds. | |||

| Well this what I got for christmas Metroid fusion Zelda oracle of ages Zelda minish cap A new copy of Final Fantasy 8 thank god..... New video card and hard drive which will have to go back. | I need some advice about burning DVD data disc. I want to take my copy of Windows XP home with service pack 2 also I'm going put my Norton system works 2005 software in it along system and networking tools that I got from ebay last year.....My first question when I put the OS and system works on a DVD will my computer notice the OS files first when rebooted or just the antivirus files and boot into Norton's safe mode menu ? if there is a easy way to do this differently if my first compilation wouldn't work right ? also I got a new Memorex Double layer DVD burner plus when I burn movies in nero 6 it takes 25 hours to burn I don't have that kind of time for it to burn that long plus if I use my computer while its encoding and burning it will slow down but when I try to burn a movie with Easy CD creator 6 it takes 15 hours to encode and burn. is there anyway I can speed this up a little bit ? also the DVD burner isn't slow its the software 16x for DVD-R 4x DVD-RW plus 48x for CD-R and CD-RW's MadMikeXP |

| Ok I have a question about burning the windows XP image could I zip up NSW 2005 in a rar file and add it to the compilation ? also if works can I add non bootable networking and system utilities to it or do just like you said ? the reason why I'm doing this because I want to make a ultimate 4.7 disc full of useful utilities and other stuff added along with windows OS so that I won't have to go rumiging around for my programs when I need to put it back my computer after a fresh clean installation of Windows XP. |

| I need some real help with converting standard avi or video files to other video formats also is there anway I can burn a movie file to DVD-R disc without nero express vision 3 taking up to 15 to 20 hours just to encode the movie and then 20 minutes to burn ? thanks MadMikeXP p.s. the movies I download are from kazaa lite which are known to have corrupt files or torrents that I don't know to convert |

| I need to know what levels I can modify the backgrounds in SMW. The reason why I need to know this, because I don't want to change one background in a level and lets say..... three others that I did gets screwed up just by changing the background in another level the theme I'm going for is: world 1 is a tropical jungle, world 2 is a baron desert world 3 is the mountains, world 4: is wintery conditions. Can anybody tell me what levels I can edit ? Thanks MadMikeXP |

| No I'm not logging in when I post a reply...... when I am at the main index site I log on and it says that I am now logged on ,but when I move to another forum say like... rom hacking, it will log me out for no good reason, but when I go back to the main site I am still logged in, but what really pisses me off is when I go to check my private messages it logs me out without a prompt and on the page I get a MySQL error. Can someone please tell me what the hell is going on.....? |
