AHA! ... finally, the kind of crazy thread I've been looking for.

...

Well, just to let you all know -- because you probably don't -- I took over the world a few days ago ... It might've been this past Sunday, actually. Hmmm .... nope, I'm sure there's some kind of blue law against that.

...

ANYWAY!!! Date doesn't matter (for history purposes, maybe,) but the point remains the same. I took over the world and theeeeeen ... I gave it back.

'cause I'm such a nice guy and all.

...

Yep.

After the first couple hours, Teddylot had tired down a bit and decided to be more conservative with his actions, so that he could stick it out through the rest of the night. He used a barrel as a bunker and shot at the aliens with a blaster of his, trying to pop them. If any of the monsters came within poking range, Teddylot would pull out his staff to knock it away.

Zap finally spotted a clearing in the trees up ahead, and through it he could see smoke and ash rising from the burning buildings. He slowed his pace down tremendously so that he could retain enough energy to be able to help out with whatever was happening to the town.

He brushed his way passed a few low hanging branches then jumped out into the town square, right on top of a random Gu-Goomba, knocking it out. Zap got up, caught the rest of his breath, then looked up to find Teddylot already terrorizing the unsuspecting Gu-Goombas with his staff which was now taking the form of a stop sign.

Work on folds, for they are there ... they are everywhere.

Other than that and your little sword "mixup," it's pretty good. I like the coloring job you did and the mini-comic.

Yes, very nice.

You scored as Christianity. Your views are most similar to those of Christianity. Do more research on Christianity and possibly consider being baptized and accepting Jesus, if you aren't already Christian.

Christianity is the second of the Abrahamic faiths; it follows Judaism and is followed by Islam. It differs in its belief of Jesus, as not a prophet nor historical figure, but as God in human form. The Holy Trinity is the concept that God takes three forms: the Father, the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Ghost (sometimes called Holy Spirit). Jesus taught the idea of instead of seeking revenge, one should love his or her neighbors and enemies. Christians believe that Jesus died on the cross to save humankind and forgive people's sins.

Teddylot: *pops up from out of the barrel* You found me!

...

Teddylot turned his head in every which direction, looking for the source of the silence. His motions became so frantic that the barrel he was in tipped over and started to roll its way toward Kirbynite's feet with his head still sticking out of the top.

Teddylot: *still rolling* Well ... at least the balloons are gone.

A large crowd of fourty or so X-Nauts and Punies amassed themselves next to the battle field ... well, it's a stage now, but nevermind that. Kirby took the front position while Teddylot and the rest of the group were lined up behind him.

Teddylot: We're right behind you, buddy! We'll ... umm, just let you take most of the damage.

Posted on 08-03-05 08:38 AM, in Jeopardy! Link
The Lakitu in charge of the game show's filming panned over the audience with his camera sweeping toward the newly infamous remake of the world reknowned Jeopardy! stage. However, the multi-screened plasma television (which has several undiscovered talents, I'm sure) was void of the project, and now replaced by a normal plasma screen that covered the same space. The contestants' podiums on the stage seemed to be displaced to the audience. The entire auditorium was filled with similar podiums that anybody could come in and use. The only thing that seemed to remain constant was the stage, the host's podium, and the show's technical crew hidden in the shadows.

Announcer: Hello and welcome to Acmlm's Board's very own Jeopardy!. It's just the same as the orgininal syndicated television game show, except I'm not Johnny Gilbert ... or Don Pardo for that matter. Well, I guess there are several other differences as well. For instance, this game isn't limited to just the three contestants. Instead, the entire audience is invited to play. Plus, there are no Daily Doubles and ... you can't pick the questions you want asked. I'm sorry we're so lame.

Anyway, if you're completely new to Jeopardy!, you should know that this is a trivia(l) game show that usually cover the topics of history, literature, and pop culture. The thing that seperates this game show from every other game show is that we give you the answer. Pretty cool, huh? ... the fine print is that you have to give us the question. Don't quite understand? Well, here's an example:

Answer #0
These two European contries came into existence on January 1, 1993.

Announcer: Then you'd give us the question.

Question #0
What are the Czech Republic and Slovakia?

Announcer: Easy as pie. You'd get the point value for the question in dollars if you got it right, but if you got it wrong, you'd lose the point value for the question in dollars. Thus, the jeopardy. Just remember, you have to give the question in a question format ... oddly enough.

Now, I don't want to keep you all waiting, so if anything else pops up that requires explaining, I'd be happy to when the time comes. Now without further ado, here's your host: Teddylot.

Teddylot shuffled onto the stage from behind the giant red curtain. He made his way up to his podium and waved casually toward the audience. After climbing a small stair of books, the teddy bear host was finally visible for all to see. A polk-a-dot bowtie was complementing his figure and the rest of his attire ... a pair of pants.

Teddylot: Hello, citizens! I'm your wonderfully awesome host, Teddylot, and I'll be ... umm ... your host, I guess. Entertainer, maybe? I'll have to get my detective on that one. Anyway, everybody's invited to play. Just be sure to tell me the name you want to go by--none of this name change hurby scurby going on--your first try answering (or should I say "questioning"), so that our technical crew can put you up on the scoreboard lickety-spick without confusion. Now, to get started.

The first category we're going to dealing with is Nursery Rhymes. Worth $600; here is your first answer.

Answer #1
She's the gardening aficionado described as "quite contrary."

Teddylot: Ready ... GO!STOP! ... err, buzz in when you think you know the answer.

Announcer: ... wow ... what a turnout ... *cough*

Teddylot: ... I smell ninja.

*DING*

Teddylot: AND the first correct question goes to Grey, giving him all the munnies and all the first-answer questioning glory.

Announcer: All this A&Q stuff will kill me by the start of page ten. That is if someone doesn't become lazy by then.

Super Scoreboard:
Grey:
$600
Kirbynite: $0
NSNick: $0
neotransotaku: $0
SmallHacker: $0
Emptyeye: $0
Kirby ATW: $0

Announcer: Gee Whiz ... MindTrap Alumni!

Teddylot: Except for Kirby, that is ... nite.

Answer #2
In a Mother Goose rhyme, this little boy gets his head patched up "with vinegar and brown paper."

Teddylot: You know what ... from now on I'll be keeping the point worths secret ... to add intrigue and all that. Intrigue like a bald man going in to get a haircut.

Announcer: Oh, and the show's producer--

Teddylot: --That's me! and not Merv Griffin--

Announcer: --urges you to support your local comic book shop ... Umm, I mean ... uh ...

Teddylot: Don't intercheat!!!

Announcer: WE URGE YOU *disgruntled* to not use the internet to find answers--questions, I mean.

Teddylot: ... yep.

Announcer: *murmurs* Have you been messing with my cue cards again, Teddylot?

Well, he taught those too.

Jesus taught alot of stuff.

Yeah, he did teach a lot of stuff ... just not tolerance.

If Jesus preached tolerance, I doubt he would have said:

"I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." ((John 14:6))

This verse is the reason why people nowadays, who doubt the Bible and its word, consider most Christians, who agree and believe in this verse, intolerant.

What you see in the Bible, Ziff, and believe to be tolerance is compassion.

Of course, I may be wrong, so if you have evidence to back up your statement. I'll be glad to be proven so.
