It's alright ... especially in Paint.

However, a few other things you might want to work on.

1) The tail. It's straight. In essence, the tail should droop down behind her because of the effects of gravity.

2) Part of the picture looks round. The other part looks flat. That's bad. You put a lot of work into making some of her body, like the face, look nice and round, but you don't pay as much attention to other parts of the body. They are: the legs, clothing, tail, and arms. For example, you might want to consider shadowing the clothes ... if you can call them that (maybe loin undies would be a better choice of words) ... so that it goes better with the picture.

3) Now to bring about the dreaded perspective problem!!! *lightning, thunder, stuff* Perspective, if you don't know, is the rule that the farther away an object, person, or thing is, the smaller it seems. Now, the dagger farthest away in the picture, looks bigger than the one that is closer to the viewer. The same goes for the "foxgirl"'s hands, arms, legs, feet and other stuffers.

4) Last one, promise. I understand, feet are very difficult to do, but those are just weird looking (although it is apparent you've spent extra time on them.) Not only do the feet look awkward, but it looks like one leg's shorter than the other. Once again, it's a perspective problem for both the feet and legs.

Last little notes:

a) Next time you try something new, you may want to try to model out a better (and more challenging) pose for your "foxgirl".

b) When working with pixels, you may want to try a different kind of outline besides the one you're using now, like having it be a darker green. It would make it seem less flat.

c) With MS Paint, there is a way to make the lines smoother (but I'm really not certain on the matter since I hardly use it myself.) You might want to try working on a larger scale with your drawings, then minimizing it.

d) That's it for now. Keep up the work. I know my criticism may seem overwhelming, but ... didn't I mention it's pretty good for someone starting out and using MS Paint?

It's just too darn good, that's why!

But yeah, I have been slacking off. Other battles have been distracting me ... and APs. Those dreaded APs. I took four of them. BUT ... results by Friday night.

Grey ... try taking a gander at Blake's poem "The Tyger". The message behind it is different than the ones you've mentioned, so it may be what your teacher's looking for.

Teddylot used his skinny figure and small size to easily slip out from between his prison's death hold. Of course, being the wily slick he is, Teddylot found a way to spread some butter over Bel's hands to aid him in his escape.

Teddylot: Margarine, actually.

Margarine, then.

Ergo, the baby has not made an active choice of believing or disbelieving, but simply doesn't know. Therefore, it is agnostic.

That's ignorance, not Agnosticism.

Agnosticism is the belief that it is impossible to know whether there is a god or just that one is skeptical of the existence of one. Logically, in order to follow such an idea, one has to be of the same opinion. (duh)

Now, it may just be, but I don't know a baby who can rationally come to the decision that their can't be a god.

Name: Blank (Teddylot)

Age: 16

Sex: Male

Area of expertise: Role Playing.

Skills: Writing, Impromptu Comedy, Animation, Thinking (too much), Doodling.

Highest Obtained power level: Normal User

Forum(s) to Moderate and why:

1. Sim-Battle Arena.
As Grey has applied for full moderator and, thus may become one, his time set aside for the Sim-Battle Arena may end up being splintered. I'm not looking to replace him, but I am looking to split his workload in the forum. Although the forum seems simple enough, the workload associated with it is nothing to scoff at. Of course, there is always the keeping in line of spammers who like to haven themselves in the forum. It has been home to a quite a few currently banned members, if you don't believe. However, most of the work lies with keeping up with vast numbers of fights that keep popping up. These fights may be interesting, lengthy, and well-written. They can also become controversial (which has been occurring recently) and eventually may lead to nice, long flames. There's also making sure everyone adheres to the rules. If I am appointed moderator of the Sim-Battle Arena, I plan on working with Grey to keep it, which include the events and fights, running nice and smoothly. I will also help Grey reform the current rules, so that they may be strict to prevent unfairness, but also flexible in order to invite differing tactics and styles. I understand sim-battling quite well, and I can use my years of acquired experience in the moderating field.
I would like to moderate this forum because it's one of the three forums I visit regularly, and I'd like to help out in it as much as I can. Although I'm not that active when comes down to the nitty gritty of battling, but I still visit almost daily, and I participate in forum events such as the current Sim-Battle Tournament of which I serve as judge.

2. Story Forum.
Another one of the forums I visit daily and the forum I enjoy the most, but right now, it is not quite as needy as the Sim Arena. However, I would like to be part of it's moderating team, which looks over the several active stories which update almost daily; making sure there is no spam and just as importantly, no discontent. The reason is, truly, because I would like to keep the Story Forum clean and in smooth running order. I also have a few ideas to try and make it more active, such as the brewing Story Forum Awards and possible forum events such as a sequel to the past's Story Forum Survivor. I have developed quite well as a writer in that forum, and I'm confident that I can provide the work it needs.

3. Brain Teasers.
Finally, the final forum I am interested in moderating and the third of the three forums I visit most often. Just as the case is for Grey, this forum's moderator, the NSNick, is running for another position, this time as administrator. I would like to support the forum and its current staff to keep it running smoothly. I have provided my share of brain teasing to the forum with my own MindTrap game which ran successfully at the beginning of the board's restart. I think I can provide even more fun to the forum with a few new ideas for games, and just in general keeping it clean and well-oiled.

Recommendations: Grey, Kirbynite, JDavis, NSNick.

Zap: Either that or I've been unexpectedly busy.

Zap stepped through the meeting room door, a tad out of breath. He jogged up to the podium, pulled out of few scratch notes from his hoodie's pocket, then began the announcement everybody has been waiting for.

Zap: Goodness, am I sorry. I've been quite busy recently with testing and the like, but even when I found the time, this tournament just left my mind, especially since I only needed to judge one battle. And this one battle was a doozy. It was quite long, and tedious to read, but good noneoftheless.
I'm not going to keep you all from knowing what decision I made since the element of awe and impatience has been long lost, but I won't give it without clear explanation afterward.

The winner, in my book, is Grey.

Now, I don't have much time because I have to go somewhere. The fight was well played out, and both fighters fought extremely well. The control level was evenly shared throughout, and when in control or out of it, the fighters were able to handle themselves. However, it seemed to me that Grey and his characters were much more resourceful in both the defensive and offensive with what they had to play with, while Jarukoth seemed to rely too much on his clones and summons. Now, summons aren't that bad in general, but this battle was itching with them. Eventually, I got extremely bored with seeing more clones pop up to help even the odds in Jarukoth's favor.

And a final note before I rush out of here that has to do with all fighters. When fighting, remember to take into account two very important factors ... timing and "cause and effect." *looks down at his watch* Aww scraps, no time to get into that now. I have to scoot. If you want me to, I'll elaborate on those two theories and their importance later. Anyway, ciao. Congratulations fighters.

Zap pocketed bundled up his scrap pieces of paper and headed back out from where he came.

OoC: Jarukoth, I'm just fooling around with you when I give you those meany faces.

Teddylot: Bup bup bup bup bup bup bup bup ... bup. Too many, bups. Your scrappy excuses have no effect on me neither. Now shelve that unnecessary arrogance of yours and surrender to the fact that you ruined a perfect opportunity for a sillyness escapade.

Teddylot reached into his pocket and pulled out both a brown cloack and a thick, black cylinder. He swung the cloak over himself, then pulled the hood over his face. Then with handy sound effects, he turned on ... his purple lightsaber.

Teddylot: Surrender.

Zap, having cleaned up some of the dark room and the sink, quickly shouldered his backpack and headed through the crowded hallways to the front of the school. He looked around at the various school buses which were lined up, and finally found what he was looking for ... a bus leaving for the local university. He hopped up its few stairs, gave a mini-salute to the driver, then sat down near the rear of the bus. Since it didn't commute that many students, the bus was was about one-third of the size of an actual bus.

Zap: So, Joe? I take it that I'll be the only kid commuting again this year?

Bus Driver Joe: Actually, I have a couple of extra names down on the list this year. Some of them are tentative, but there's at least one more coming.

The old, but kindly Joe gave a squinty smile through his rearview mirror to the young genius. Zap caught it and smiled back. According to the stories Joe used to tell during the previous two years of Zap's experience on the small bus, he was an old Army man, a veteran of both World War II and Vietnam. After spending over fourty years in the Forces, he decided to help out the next generation by driving them along to school and ended up passing down his acquired wisdom through his war tales to those who would listen. Porter had an immense respect for this wisdom and knew that what he learned from Joe was worth just as much, or more even, than what he learned from any textbook.

Bus Driver Joe: It's getting awful late. Would you like to wait for the other student for a few extra minutes?

Zap: Yeah, I can wait.

Teddylot: Alrighty, alrighty ... Now, where is that blasted Foreign Language Hall? I could have sworn it was exactly at this same spot last year. Unless ... unless that goat moved it on me ... again. *shifty* Now, if I were a goat where would I stash a hallway ...

Random Student: On the other side of the school, retard. Even 'lowly' freshmen, like myself, know that.

Teddylot: Watch your sass, mister!!! I have seniority on you!

Random Student: Watch me care as I go off to better and harder classes than you'll ever take.

Teddylot: Puuuuuuuuuuuuuuunk ... kid!

Random Student: *walks away haughtily*

Teddylot: ... right ... To the other side of the school then ... yeah. Darned tricksy goat.

Teddylot: *sigh* Screwy mindreaders ... bunch of squares.

Now, where is that Grey character? He's the one in charge of the "Who's Line" session.

Teddylot reached into his pocket and pulled out a medium-sized Seven Eleven classic Slurpee, then took a deep slurp.

Teddylot: Oh yeah, brain freeze. Definite to stop any mind reader in his tracks.

Having painfully climbed up the pit wall, Teddylot rubbed his bum a few times, heaved a sigh, then looked around the battlefield.

Teddylot: WOAH ... oh-oh-oh-oh! ... It's that "UserGrey" character. *shifty eyes*

The teddy jumped into a handily nearby bush for some quick cover, then cast a quick cure over himself before heading over to square six and a half.
