The Jester tossed another ice disc at the Dreamlander hoping to freeze him in his tracks. 'Man, this guy sure is stubborn, and weird, for that matter.'

Jest: Yeah, and that suspicious character was probably you. Besides, justice never takes a vacation. *camera shifts to someplace in Florida, where Daredevil, Matt Murdock, is lounging around* C'mon, why don't you comply, so we can all be amigos. Doesn't that sound cheery to you? Well, it's better than the alternative, isn't it?

Jest:

Jester was frozen at first, but he soon realized what had just happened. The hornets sprang out of the hive and began to attack the hero. The Jester flailed his arms in every direction trying to prevent any stinging. After a few moments he was able to calm himelf long enough to pull out an explosive disc which he threw directly at the ground.

Once the smoke cleared, it revealed the hornets all dead and the nest turned to smitherines. The Jester was covered in charcoal with only his eyes poking through. Interpretting the accident as an attack, Jest shook off the charcoal, altered his metal staff to a boomerang, and flung it above Supa. Once over the unsuspecting hero, the boomerang let out a few bomb pellets, then returned to the owner.

Jest: Ugh, I think that bee got me in the tush. >.<

The Jester saw the attack coming and stuck out his hand to catch the attack.

Jest: Ow! *drops the rock and waves his hand around* Crimeney, this guy's tougher than he looks. Man, I'm not gonna let my first, tough opponent get away. I have to fulfill what the JLA expects of me.

Jest spotted a hanging piano above and in front of the Dreamlander from one of the taller buildings. Not wanting to spoil his clean slate, without thinking, the teen tossed several ninja stars at the rope it was dangling from. Thack, Thack, Thack. Each star caught it's target. The piano was only hanging from one thread, which of course, snapped.

Umm, France's company 'Marathon' created Totally Spies, but meh.

You see that a lot these days. Americanized Anime is spurted out by almost every major cartoon developer in America and other places. Why? Because that's what's big now. Plain and simple.

The Jester hopped along toward his foe, stopped a safe distance away, and loomed over it. The Jester transfigured the boomerang back into a staff and set it just underneath the Dreamlander's visor.

Jest: Now, I'm gonna do to you what every masked villain dreads . . . *beep* . . . *beep*

Umm . . . just a sec.

The superhero pressed a button on his staff which transfigured it into a box like object, then put it up to his ear.

Jest: Umm, Zap. You caught me at the wrong time. I'm trying to humiliate a villain here. . . Important? What's more important than keeping psychos behind bars? . . . oh, I see . . . so what is it? . . .

I'm a sophmore in high school, but I do get my fair share of essays. The latest essay I've worked on was an argument of Gatsby as a Christ Figure. I don't think I did too well on it, but then again, I tend to underestimate the generosity of my English teacher.

Well, it depends on the show really. If it were Totally Spies, then yes, it sucks. But let's take Teen Titans as an example. It does sometimes overuse the chibi and other japanese styles, but if used properly and under a certain extent, then it can provide for excellent comic relief. Like in Season Two's Transformation or Winner Take All (Dwayne McDuffie = Genius), sure, they were a bit overused, but those were probably some of the most entertaining episodes I've seen. So let's not just say 'it all sucks' because it's more of a 'in the right hands' situation.

Teddylot stepped over all the blood in the area and made his way toward the window.

Teddylot: Eww! *squints*

The Jester just sat there, motionless, until finally, he wiped off some of the blood from his eye-mask, and wiped it off on his jeans.

Actually, there has been a small surge of participants in the SB. We may very well have enough to fulfill all the spots necessary. We could also always recruit from the outside. *shifty eyes*

For me, I'm for Kirb's suggestion. I just hope I can find a group that I work well with. *cough*youknowwhoyouare*cough*

Oh, I remember Marsupilami, too. Funny stuff.

Well, from what I've noticed here in America: Europeans tend to lean towards the idea that comic books/strips/whatever are art, while Americans *glare* say they are art, but are a lower form of it.

What do you guys think of this?

Although, I disagree with you on most of what you said, I do agree that the theme song sucks lemons. I read something about the artists who did the song:

Puffy AmiYumi Gets New Animated Series in December

The group that sings the TEEN TITANS theme song is getting their own animated series!

Cartoon Network announced that the Japanese pop group Puffy AmiYumi would be getting their own animated series - Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi. In the musical TV tradition of the Monkees, Partridge Family and Josie and the Pussycats, Hi Puffy AmiYumi. follows the musical misadventures of Ami and Yumi. Sam Register [senior vice president, original animation for Cartoon Network} described the series as "Hello Kitty meets Led Zeppelin."

Here's how the network describes the series: "One of Japan's biggest pop music acts arrives in America, not with a massive stadium tour but as a cartoon. Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi, set to debut in December, follows the adventures of two very cool, but very different, pop stars as they travel from gig to gig or just hang out in their hometown of Tokyo. Ami is the peppy, positive and resourceful one. Yumi is the hard-rocking, no-nonsense cynic with an absolutely infallible sense of cool. Together, they take the world by storm, despite occasional misjudgments from their well-meaning but tragically square manager, Kaz. Hi Hi Puff' Ami Yumi also will feature live-action segments starring the real life Puffy AmiYumi as well as the group's catchy J-pop hits."

Info gotten from AIFandom.com. Cheers!

The Jester just welcomed the attacks. However, his co-fighter, Teddylot, wasn't so easy to back down. From his pockets he pulled out two koopa shells, skrewed on the addable spike parts, and flung them from where he was in the building. Of course, he may be small, and really far away, he has always been known to hit two birds with one stone.

Teddylot: *yells* I hope you remember these!

The Jester was taken off guard. He was able to hit back one of the shells with his staff, but the other one hit him smack dab in the face which sent him into the ground. He rapidly stood back up with a huge red circle on that face.

Jest: TEDDYLOT! *yells* Leave my guys to me, and don't intervene.

The Jester took four ice discs and threw them at each of the Luigi's hammers. He then followed his attack with four ninja stars hoping that they would be enough to take out their weapons if they had been frozen.

Jest: Gah! They're like Teddylot's never-ending supply of munitions.

The Jester took a different tactic this time around. He took hopped onto a nearby fire escape and used it to propel himself above and behind the enemy. He then pulled out four more fire discs from his sac and shot them at the silver hammers. If he was lucky, his plan would fall directly into place.

Jest: What the??? *staggers* Those were supposed to go off on impact! Curses!

The Jester then dashed out of the way of the discs, and slid to a stop. He took another four 'boomerang" electric ninja stars from his sac and spiraled them towards his foes. Unfortunately, the stars were off course from their target, and they headed straight for a nearby building. Or were they? The stars gradually u-turned before they hit the building and were on a dead on course to make contact with the Luigi clones.

The Jester jumped backwards onto the fire escape, the hammer, however, did cause the escape to indent and almost pin the hero. He squeezed himself out of the tight space trying not to get cut by the sharp edges of the escape. Finally, an idea struck him. The Jester took his staff, changed it into a wrench, and loosened the holdings of a nearby fire hydrant. Once he was able to loosen it enough, he kicked it off with the heel of his foot, and water spurted out of the hydrant at great force.

The Jester thought quickly. He flipped up a manhole cover and diverted the pumping water toward the lava spew causing it to solidify. This didn't take care of everything though, for some lava was able fling onto his clothes and the little bit of skin that wasn't covered. He bent down on his knees when struck, and craddled the injury. He ripped off parts of his shirt and wrapped it around the burns. He staggered back to his feet, but was a bit woozy from the shock. Luckily, his partner in fight showed up behind the clone. He pulled out a tranquilizer gun and shot it at the neck of his foe, grinning.
