Teddylot: . . . AWESOME! A new crew member! Now . . . where to put you.

The captain teddy glanced around the room until he found something that would be of some use. He picked it up, difficultly as it was bigger than he, and dropped it at the newcomer's feet.

Teddylot: Alrighty, you get to swab the deck until we actually get to going somewhere.

Teddylot then took the stairs back up to the main deck. He squinted as the sun reflected off of his beady eyes. Once he could clearly guide himself around, he noticed his struggling first mate trying to get the attention of the new, disorderly crew. The captain walked up to his good friend and snatched away the megaphone.

Teddylot: *to Zap* You need to work on your peoples skills. Now, look at me do my best. *to the crew* LISTEN, YOU BLOWHARDS!!! I don't want ANY trouble on this ship, ya hear? I want everybody to call to attention on this filthy boat or you won

Teddylot: *turns back to new contestant* We were expecting you . . . *turns around* with a right answer, and unfortunately, yours was wrong. Soooo, just keep pummeling us with those other ideas of yours or you just might end up on that dreaded Screen of Shame. Your reputation as a mastermind at brain teasers may be at risk.

Announcer: Welcome back to the board, Emptyeye.

Teddylot: Yeah, that too. I remember reading about you in Acmlm Board History Books.

It was in the fall of 1962 that a man went to town with $50 in his pocket, but he returned at night with $150. He bought a hat at a clothing store and some apples at the market. Then he had his eyes tested. He gets paid every Thursday by cheque. The banks are only open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The eye doctor is closed on Saturday. The market stays closed on Thursday and Friday. On what day did the man go to town?

I'm not too psyched about the movie, but I am planning on watching it with my friends. Personally, the trailor was a bit iffy for me. It was probably just my acute senses, but I couldn't take any of the actors seriously when they tried to be serious. (i.e. Hermione punching Malfoy, Harry on Sirius Black.) Maybe it's just because they're just tiny clips. *shrugs*

Uncle Elmo: They were originally planning on doing Book Four in two volumes, but then, I guess, they were able to cut enough of the original story out in order to make it fit a la Lord of the Rings.

Question 26:

Neon Slick adjusted his sunglasses as he sped down the winding mountain road into town. Being very nearsighted, he required corrective lenses. Arriving at the optician's, he tried on his new lenses, and since he could now see perfectly, decided to wear them home. On his way back, Neon saw his brother-in-law, Sid Shady. He stopped and a violent argument ensued. Sid picked up a rock and smashed it on Neon's forehead, killing him. Sid then put the dead body into the car. Seeing Neon's sunglasses on the passenger seat he slipped them on Neon and then pushed the car off the road down a steep ravine. When Shadow examined the body he declared that it was no accident but a heinous murder. Why was Shadow convinced that Neon was murdered?

Announcer: Kirby ATW wasn't that close, and NSNick was way off. Remember, Shadow didn't know that Slick went to the optometrist's. Therefore, to Shadow, Neon could've been murdered at any time during the day.

Dan Manly was revisiting his home town when an old friend called, "Hey Dan, how have you been? It must be 15 years since we last saw each other."
"At least that," replied Dan. "I've been keeping well, but tell me about yourself." Dan's friend answered, "I'm married now but to someone that you wouldn't know. By the way, this is my daughter." Dan looked down at the little girl and asked her name. "It's the same as my mother's," the little girl replied. "Then I bet your name is Susan," said Dan. How could he know?

I remember hearing that Jim Carrey was continually pestered by medical organizations for making the movie. Apparently, he didn't portray schizophrenia the way it really is, therefore, giving the general public a false perception on the disorder.

Schizo n.
Any of a group of psychotic disorders usually characterized by withdrawal from reality, illogical patterns of thinking, delusions, and hallucinations, and accompanied in varying degrees by other emotional, behavioral, or intellectual disturbances. Schizophrenia is associated with dopamine imbalances in the brain and defects of the frontal lobe and is caused by genetic, other biological, and psychosocial factors.

See, nothing really having to do with split personalities.

. . .

I'm not a big fan of the movie myself.
